"Calling this a "boutique" hotel is definitively over-reaching, but it is fair as a 2-star hotel. We found an ironing table in the hallways, yellow stains in some sheets and in the washing basin, refrigerator was broken and had a misty smell inside and windows were poorly isolated so we heard passing traffic throughout the night. Staff was very friendly and helpful, though."

"Clean new hotel however ensure you have extra cash as you are required to leave a deposit, plus taxes, plus extra deposit if you need an extra key. Also, housekeeping were banging doors very early in the morning!!! Ask for a room that doesn’t face the restaurant as it’s also noisy all night "

To be fair, the bedding and towels were exceptionally clean, which we appreciated. "The owner asked to text to collect the check in info but don't reply until the next day. The room is barely clean and all furniture are old and dusty. The sofa and carpet were so dirty. The bathroom is molded. It required rm100 deposit to be paid and took 2 days to refund. Worst of all, 2 of my credit cards details being hacked I believe is the WiFi. "
