Absolutely loved it . The room was has showed excellent condition. Easy checkin ! Everything was there ! Perfect location and close to everything and the view was amazing! Just a recommendation maybe a curtain in the living room for when someone is sleeping in there for sun in the morning. But even that not a big deal with waking up to an ocean view !

When reviewing properties would have liked to have known at that time about the balcony being closed and all the construction going on but since I was booking at the last minute did not have time to search for another property. Also most of places I stay in provide an iron . But overall it was a nice unit , very clean , good location, spectacular view .

Last minute trip.

Quick booking. Great view. Good location. Pictures on wall of owners, family nice touch . Ok!!! When I say the bed in master bedroom was so nice, an comfortable ❤️. I wish I would have look to see what kind of mattress it was??? I did like the Security. Front gate guards but I do recommend having an inside lock besides the little flip switch. I would love to book again.

Beach Vacation

The unit was absolutely beautiful, decorated to perfection! The view from the balcony was great as well! This is our second time staying at the Sunbird but first time in this room. The first thing I will say is that there was no curtain for the sliding glass door or floor to ceiling windows in the living area, which was a little odd to me and would have been nice to have, especially if someone is sleeping in the bed in the living area. Definitely think others would agree! Also just a privacy thing, or the feeling of more privacy, but mainly sunlight! One thing I will note is that the property could have been cleaned better, there was still sand and crumbs in the floor from previous guests, but not enough of an issue for us to cause a fuss. After reading some other reviews that warned of the cleanliness of the property, I brought my swiffer from home and swept it as soon as we got there. My husband did find one dead cockroach in the bathroom, but that is the only insect issue we had. No live bugs thank goodness. We did have an exterminator come in to spray for insects once, which worried me at first but I think this is just the property managers staying on top of the insect issue noted in previous reviews! Overall I would still give this property a 4 star rating. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels, wash clothes, toilet paper, paper towels for our stay as well. The bed in the living area is super soft and comfy but the bed in the bedroom was a little firm so just depends on what you like! We got an early check in as well! You receive a text when the property is ready and you can check in anytime after you receive that text, even if it’s before your actual check in time of 5pm!

Beautiful Condo. Awesome beach views.

Awesome view from top floor. Great balcony. All amenities. Only problem was low water pressure in the kitchen. No where else though. Great place to stay.

Great place but we had trouble with ants

I had to call about ants over and over. It was just annoying having to deal with that on vacation. Then they came in and sprayed something so so strong and being pregnant made me gag. The location was great. The king size bed is hard as a rock.

The unit was furnished beautiful and view was beautiful! The floor we’re absolutely filthy.

Unit beautiful but not clean. Dirty floors! Qtip on bathroom floor. Teeth cleaning stick under couch when you walked in. Beads under bead. Floors had just caked filth around all baseboards. Tolit turned pink to black 4 days in. Like it was cleaned with only water no cleaning supplies. Have pictures if interested.

Disappointed in condo

They did let us check in early which was great because it was storming bad when we got there. The condo was in a great location right in the middle of everything and loved that it was right in the beach. We did have a few issues that made our stay less desirable. The condo listing bragged about the cleanliness but it was not cleaned well at all in my opinion and there was a huge cockroach running through the living room one night. The oven barely opens because of the handles on the drawers and it was smoking on the inside once it started to heat up so we just didn't use it. Water pressure in kitchen sink was non existent. I was really surprised that it didn't come with some basics such as salt and pepper or coffee filters. The TV was disappointing, only had certain channels and our Netflix wouldn't work on it. The bed in the bedroom was uncomfortable but the one in the living area was great. The swings by the beach are broken so in my opinion they need to be taken out of the advertisement. The tennis court had no fence around it and its basically right in the parking lot so you really couldn't play safely. There was lots of duct tape around the full sized window by the sliding door to balcony. Overall our stay was good and some of it wasn't a huge deal, but seeing a live cockroach run across the floor made me paranoid the rest of the trip. None of the issues were really anything the owner could fix at the time so I didn't bother to contact them.

Got a early check in and immediately found a beautiful decorative and clean room,view to ocean was fantastic, very clean and promise we will rent this room each trip to Panama city. Just really pleased with all aspects of room ,and especially the people booking the room. They answered each email within minutes. 5 stars to them. Emerald beach properties

My stay at the Sunbird

This is our 2nd stay at the Sunbird. Really love the property and will stay at the Sunbird in the future. The Condo we rented was really nice and was stocked with everything we needed. Only complaint was the water pressure. The kitchen sink was the worst but the shower has low pressure too.

Great getaway! Excellent views!

Place was clean and beds were cozy! King size is more of a firm bed which the husband liked! I preferred the queen size which was so, so cozy! The entry is nice and you can quickly walk into the bedroom with a right turn. The bathroom is accessible from the kitchen and bedroom which makes it perfect for someone visiting with 2 separate guests. Kitchen is cute and clean, the bathroom has hot water and good water pressure. THE BALCONY is the best part! Being able to walk out on the balcony at any time of day is the best! Sunrise and sunsets were a great part of our vacation. The door sticks a bit but nothing major. I would have like another chair out on the balcony. There was only one.
