Decent place - could be better with a little improvement

This property was conveniently located on the 3rd floor of the east tower where stairs could be used to get to the first floor - beach access/pool area etc. It is on the same floor as the walkway to the parking garage which was also a plus. The condo was clean. Full disclosure, the unit is in the nook between the third floor elevators but noise was rarely an issue if at all. Being close to the elevator has its perks too. The balcony is directly above the pool so it did get loud sometimes, but we enjoyed the entertainment. There are a few items that need to be addressed as stated in prior reviews - the shower head, the mattress, and there appears to be some faulty wiring and the breaker box is painted shut. The door to the laundry is coming off the hinges and needs to be fixed. During our stay, the entire resort had to shut off the a/c for repairs for 48 hours. The temperature in the condo got up to 86 degrees. The property management refunded about 16% of the total for the stay - this was a bit of an inconvenience for a vacation stay but understandable. I did request additional refund but did not receive response…The area is convenient due to its proximity to Pier Park but it can get extremely busy and a little rowdy. If you’re looking to have a quiet, relaxing time, probably should go somewhere else but it’s certainly not party central. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Loved this condo! Just as stated. Cleaned and well stocked. Well decorated! Loved the view!

The condo was perfect but the security at the property was rude, hateful and made the stay uncomfortable when at the pool. The rest of the staff was great!

Great Condo, wonderful location

I have stayed at Calypso a number of times, in Panama City Beach, over the years. This is a great facility, kept up nicely and very clean. Great location, very close to Pier Park.Great Beach Getaways, was great to deal with, very professional and and very responsive to requests.The unit was recently renovated and had everything needed, would stay there again. The only down, is the entrance to the unit is in the elevator lobby and can get noisy at times.

Spring Break Getaway

We stayed in this area 6 months ago and this trip was a night and day difference. We scoped the Calypso Resort out on our last trip and were excited to book a condo here this time around. The booking and check in/out was seamless. Everything was super clean and the beach access/pool condo was perfect. We had a wonderful time.

Anniversary Trip

Room was very well decorated and clean. We had issues with air conditioner, bed could be improved(very noisy) and the shower head needs replacing. With that said, I would stay again…location and parking were very convenient.

Gorgeous View

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in PCB. Check in was easy, the unit was clean and looked exactly like photos. The access to the parking garage and beach was perfect. Having laundry was key for our little family and the beach service with two chairs and an umbrella each day included was outstanding. I would say they could do a few improvements- king mattress is ready for replacement and the shower head needs updating. Thanks for a great stay’

Relaxing getaway

This was our second time staying in this condo. We love the location and the convenience. Condo is nicely decorated and has all needed amenities. Only negative is the bed which we commented on from our previous stay 2 years ago. The mattress needs to be updated. Very uncomfortable and wakes the person next to you if you need to turn over it’s so squeaky. We won’t stay again until that is upgraded.

Awesome unit

Awesome unit overall. I did see a review about the master bed and it definitely needs to be replaced. Also the tv in the master has a glitch to where the screen turns black every few minutes. Other than that, great unit with beautiful beach views

Perfect Beach Front

We stayed here for spring break and the views of this are even better than the pictures. There was an issue with the property closing the pools down for 2.5 days for maintenance. The owner was not aware this was happening during our stay and quickly applied compensation for the inconvenience. We will definitely rent this condo again in the future!

Great Ocean View

We loved being on the 3 rd floor for easy access to garage and elevators. Great ocean view from living area as well as bedroom. Kitchen had most utensils and items for preparing light meals. A great place for couples. The sofa bed is not that comfortable, but the kiddos didn’t mind.
