Great Views

We enjoyed our stay, the distance to the beach was a short walk from the condo. Beach chairs/ umbrellas were easy to access. The elevators were always crowded and had long wait times, luckily we didn't mind taking the stairs.

Great Trip

The condo was just like it was advertised. I would definitely stay there again. Loved all the updates to the condo. Check in was smooth and staff was very friendly. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely be back.

Okay unit in not great location

Unit was smaller than we expected, but it still did the job. Unit is located at “The Summit”. It’s definitely a party vibe. Cigarette smoke and pot smell everywhere with a strip club across the street with a very clear sign showing it. I reached out to the property manager twice prior to arriving with no response. Elevators are backed up so luckily this unit is on the 4th floor so we did stairs mainly. Thankful we had a place to rest our head at night and proximity to the beach was good, but won’t stay here again.

Very Disappointed - do not recommend!

Our stay started out okay - but on day 2 we realized the dryer was not working and the dish washer was leaking. We notified the property management of this and they said the owners brother was coming to look - after that we received no further communication and the appliances were not fixed during our stay, leaving us to hand wash all dishes and use the onsite laundry facility. Not exactly the ideal way to spend vacation. I tried to make my 5 yr old mac n cheese and the bottom of the pot had black specks coming off of it where I guess a previous guest had used metal on it (yes I used a plastic utensil). Pretty much everything we used I had to rewash first because it was still dirty. The bottoms of my kids feet were black from the dirty floor. It looked like someone glued one of the legs of the dining room table back on at some point as it was at an angle. Once I realized that, I told my family to stay away from it because that leg is going to fall off and someone is going to get hurt, so we could not use the dining room table. Then, to top off the disappointing stay I was just charged $300 when I followed all of there check out instructions EXACTLY and know I left it in the same condition we found it. Not worth what we paid at all in my opinion and will not be staying here again. The resort itself was fine, but this particular condo is not worth it and will likely cost $300 more than you expect because apparently they will charge you the security deposit no matter what.

Great room

Perfect spring break location for me and my fiancé. Since it is a busy season, it was a little crowded, but nothing crazy, chairs were always open on the beach. Hosts were very helpful, check in was simple. The room was clean, cute, and had a starter amount of essential supplies like soaps and paper towels which was helpful since we got in late and couldn’t immediately go grocery shopping. If you are looking for a lively place that is beach front, this is it.

We loved our stay. The condo was very clean and exactly as described. Owners were very quick to respond and assist with one very minor issue we had. The pool and beach areas were kept very clean and accessible. All of the workers we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this unit.

My favorite condo

I stayed in this particular condo last year and returned again this year. It is by far my favorite. The condo is exactly as listed. It is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. King size bed is comfortable with plenty of drawer space for clothing. It is nice having 2 bathrooms, also with plenty of storage. I have never slept on the bunks or sofa so I can't comment The views from balcony are perfect. You have view of entire backside of the property, pools and ocean. Communication/contact with owner/mgt is almost instant. You will have personal number and never have to wait days for return emails. Check in is easy. I like not having to keep up with a key. At first glance from the road, it would be easy to dismiss this condo. The building itself is huge and looks a little dated. It is located between a small condo and the former clubs which are closed. Looks can fool and that is definitely the case here. The part you can't see is beautiful. The grounds are clean, plenty of parking. Being next door to the closed clubs and small condo means more beach space without being on top of each other. Things I love about the summit that I havent had at other rentals: security is always at the gate and makes rounds on the property. Friendly staff. BEAUTIFUL views. The double pools are large. Plenty of lounge chairs and space to spread out. Tiki bar. The walk to the beach is shorter than other locations. Bob's burgers is on site and offers a quick, cheap and easy way to grab lunch. There is small shop in case you forgot sunscreen or other beach items. Location is great..easy to get in and out. I'll mention the elevators since there are so many comments about them. Did we have to wait for the elevator? A few times but nothing ridiculous or above what you would expect during a busy season. In addition to the 2 middle elevators, there are 2 elevators on both ends of the building. My second trip staying here and will definitely return and rent again.

The property looked as the picture on VRBO web site but the sliding door to the balcony was broke and did not completely close nor did it lock at all, also there was molded pizza left in the oven. We could not use the bedroom closet due to it been used as a storage space for a vacuum, carpet shampoo machine, gate and toys. The condo was either not properly clean after the last reservation with left pizza or someone used the condo in between our reservation and the last. Therefore taking our peace of mind that anything was clean especially the none obvious. This is unacceptable especially with all the fees charged! Disappointed

Very nice condo

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was super responsive and very kind. The leg on the kitchen table broke (I think the previous guest probably broke it and just sat it up to look normal) they were apologetic and sent someone right over to repair it. Also, the hair dryer was missing and they sent a new one over very quickly. There is carpet in the bedroom that feels kinda dirty. On arrival I was a little nervous about the location. It’s pretty much in the middle of everything. There were crowds everywhere and some loud guests. So if you are looking for a more peaceful spot this may not be for you. But, it turned out okay. Being on the 4th floor, you can walk up the stairs when there is a line at the elevators. All in all I would stay there again.

Room Was Fine, Condominium Not a Fave

The room itself was fine. Updated countertops and bathrooms, but everything else was pretty outdated (ie all appliances, master bed, living room furniture). If you stay at The Summit, expect long wait times at the elevator, loud parties from 9am to 11pm at the pool, and a massive crowd at the pool and beach. The addition of the grill and tiki bar are nice, but they were always so crowded that we never even took the opportunity to check them out. We did enjoy the balcony view, location of the condo, and you really can’t beat the water in PCB. Just be cautious: if you want a more relaxing stay, I recommend looking elsewhere.
