Great place to stay with a beautiful, unobstructed view of the ocean. There's a beach access directly across from the building. The unit was clean and included everything we needed for our stay, including some extras in the closet - 4 beach chairs and a cooler on wheels. They provided some basic hotel type toiletries, dish soap, and enough soap for 1 load of laundry and 1 round of the dishwasher. We stayed for 9 days so we had to buy some extra toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, laundry detergent, and hand soap. The pool was great for when our 6 year old needed a break from the ocean. We were on the 3rd floor, and you do hear quite a bit of road noise during the busier times of the day. It was pretty quiet later in the evenings sitting outside. There was a water spicket directly outside our door and a spicket/shower with a hose by the pool to help keep the sand outside. Definitely check out Maritime Expeditions of the Forgotten Coast for scuba, snorkeling, and any water expedition.
Alex is phenomenal, definitely 10/10, cannot recommend him enough! We also highly recommend TK Hibachi, delicious, fresh, and generous portions. There's lots of food trucks that we didn't get to try that I'm sure are delicious. Hunts on Port St. Joe, about 20 minutes away, is a great place to dine on the water. Beach Destiny was a great place to stay!
