The condo was very nice. We were on the 13th floor which view wise was great however elevator situation was not so great. If staying here I would definitely prefer to be on 5th floor or below as you will either wait for elevator or walk steps. It states to share beach on several signs yet resort staff sets up 3 rows of chairs and you cannot block their view. Half the chairs are never rented was very excessive taking up a lot of usable space.

Good condo for the view

The condo was a great location. We have previously stayed at the tidewater so we knew we wanted a condo there. However, this condo is very plain with decorations, the furniture could use some updating. The couch is AWFUL to even sit on. The bed has a foam topper on it but it feels formed to someone else’s body so you sink in the spots that it’s already dipped down into. There was a whole iron burn mark on the bedside table. We couldn’t find the silverware at the time of check in. Turns out it was still dirty in the dishwasher. Also, if you are bringing toddlers or children that want to wind down with a certain show in the evening, the tv is not a smart tv. Something I wish we knew before checking in so we could bring an Roku stick or something. Overall, it was a nice place with some minor setbacks. It was the location we wanted and the company checked in with us and communicated well. The unit could just use some TLC and the listing pictures need to be updated with what is actually there.

Needs major upgrades

The mattress was HORRIBLE! We found that it was only boxsprings with a less than camper quality topper. We had to but a 3" foam topper in order to sleep. The master bedroom ceiling fan light did not work. The fan made so much noise and sounded like it was going to gall out of the ceiling so we bought a box fan in order to have air movement at night. Maintence was nice. They came and tried to fix it but said it needed to be replaced and they would talk to the owner. They brought up 2 lamps so we could have some light. Couch isn't very comfortable. All appliances squeak when opening and closing. I saw on older reviews where people had me tioned the bed and ceiling fan issues. Thought they would have been addressed by now. I wouldnt recommend this unit. Tidewater as a whole was pleasant for the most part. Had some friendly employees. Maintence was great and tried to accommodate where they could. We will not be back to this unit for sure!

Great location, gorgeous view, comfortable.

We had a great time during our stay. Convenient location, the most beautiful view and clean and comfortable condo. Only reason why it didn’t receive 5 stars is because the time it takes to catch an elevator. The condo itself was great! We did have an inspector let us know that there was an issue with the toilet, but the owner called to let me know when a maintenance person could come. These things happen and maintenance was very professional. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome views & location

Really nice condo with nice views from the balcony. Security was top notch. Never stayed in a place with this much Security on the grounds. We did have some damaged furniture in the unit when arrived. Left a message about the damage and didn't hear anything. Not a follow up call or anything. The furniture has been changed since this listing was published. So the actual furniture on the listing is no longer in the room. Needs updated pictures on the site. But overall nice condo. But very busy. Its huge with 30 floors. So the evealtor waits were long at times. But its nice place with a great location.

Little things that could be improved.

Overall the room was excellent. The master bedroom ceiling fan was lose and when it was cut on high it squeaked a lot.

Fantastic trip

The condo was great! The rental company called me the day before to make sure I had everything for my trip, which was really nice! They communicated quickly during booking process. The condo was beautiful and just what we wanted. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. I would stay again!!

Desperate need of update

The good...fantastic location, great complex, good amenities, great security and staff. We went off season so the elevators weren't an issue. Super clean, plenty of toilet paper, toiletries, towels. The bad...it's as though it was decorated in the nineties and never touched again. In the description where it says designer decorated or something, def not true. The living room furniture is super uncomfortable and very dirty and stained. There are no rugs anywhere. As in several reviews re the master bed mattress, it is truly terrible. So bad we finally slept with our heads at the foot and that was a little better. It's broken or something. Obvs the owners/managers don't care enough to listen to guests' comments and address these issues. Where it says in one response to a review that the furniture was replaced, there is absolutely no way that's true. While we still had a great time bc it's the gorgeous beach and the weather was fantastic, we would never stay here again. Be aware.

We love Tidewater…our go-to beach

This is the first time we have used Vrbo to rent a condominium at Tidewater. FourStars property management were helpful with the paperwork. We were there on spring break. So check-in was very busy, however with FourStars preparation we were able to check-in very quickly. The condo 1309 (13th floor) had the format we like - bunk room, separate master room, and living / room and kitchen. Many will comet about the elevators; choose elevators away from the main elevators. use sides. Recommend an update to the property manager or owner to get new couch and chairs in living room. The current Furniture are worn and dirty. It looked like they tried to clean them but it really just need to be replaced.

Clean but old

Very nice and clean condo! The beach view is so beautiful!!! But it needs to be updated. Everything is so old. The bed in the master creaks so loud. The bunk beds are also old and you can’t have anyone over 100lbs on the top bunk bed. Kitchen appliances are also super old. It was a very pleasant stay for us, but this condo needs to be remodeled. I think it’s for sale, so maybe that’s why the owners don’t care about updating it. Regardless, even updating the couches and beds would help.

Great Condo, needs updates

Great building and location. Plenty of communication leading up to my stay ensured I knew the check in process before arriving. Great view of the gulf and beach from the living room and the master bedroom. Desperately needs a new mattress in the master as well as living room furniture.
