Condo was quiet, peaceful, and an excellent location. Perfect for families! Did not like how there was no overhead lighting. Also, the bedroom door on the second bedroom wouldn’t close due to location of the beds. However, I would still book again. Loved the included beach chairs and heated pool. Thanks for a week that went by way too fast! Excellent town for families. This location was away from the “party scene”. Great!

I give this a 4-Star review for the following reasons: Very good communication by both the owner and the property manager on-site, very good amenities within the Dunes of Panama neighborhood, and my favorite-the unobstructed view of the ocean. If this didn’t have the items listed above, it would have gotten 1 star. Upon arrival, we found the condo to be dirty. While the condominium entrance, elevator, and hallways smelled and looked very clean, our condo did not. The bathrooms were dirty, all the white baseboards are dirty, the tile floors under the furniture hadn’t been cleaned. The property manager had the cleaning people come back the next morning. Outside of cleanliness, the pictures are very misleading. The tub is soft at the bottom and cracked in places, but has good pressure. All of the upholstered chairs in the condo are stained and dingy. The couch and loveseat are so worn down, you can feel the wood/springs in them. The dining room table is made of glass and wicker, so all kinds of dust and old food particles can be seen in the cracks. The master bed is so soft (foam) that your feet are elevated when you lay down. It is not easy to even get out of the bed because it’s so soft. We are runners with average body types, so it’s not because we are heavy. The second bedroom also has soft mattresses and the door won’t shut because the bed is in front of the door. The lock for the guest/hall bathroom doesn’t have a working lock, so no privacy for second bedroom.

We had such an amazing time! Whenever we needed to contact the host, Todd was very accomadating & quick to respond! The ocean front condo was perfect for those in our group who have to stay out of the sun! They could still see & hear the ocean without feeling like they were missing out! We real felt like this was our home away from home for our 11 nights! We will definitely be back down here!

Everything was perfect

Everything was clean upon arrival. We were allowed to check in a little early, which was nice. Grounds were clean & crowds were low. I love how the complex doesn’t allow people to save chairs at the pool. We never went to the pool & couldn’t find seats. Beds were EXTRA comfy! Can’t complain about anything.

Excellent Vacation!

While we have stayed at Panama City for years, this was our first time staying at the Dunes of Panama. The Dunes of Panama is a well maintained, safe and welcoming gated community of beach condos. The employees of the Dunes of Panama handle the check-in and check-out processes, which could not have been easier. All the employees we met were extremely nice and professional. Regarding the condo, we absolutely loved our stay. The unit was clean, decorated with a great "beachy" theme, had comfortable furniture and a FABULOUS balcony. The balcony overlooks not only the ocean, but also the pool and pool area. The kitchen contains all you need to cook a great meal. Washer and dryer are located under the kitchen counters which was both space saving and convenient. TVs in all bedrooms. We did run into one very minor issue. I reached out to Todd & we had it resolved instantly. He was very easy to communicate with and fast to respond. I would recommend this unit to everyone! You will not be disappointed. Five stars, hands down!!!!

We had a great time. Location was excellent. Resort was well maintained. Condo was comfortable and stocked with cooking ware. Condo needs some updating but bed was comfortable and the view was fantastic. Would stay here again.

My family and I have stayed at Dunes of Panama the last 5 times we’ve visited, usually stay in building D or E, but after our stay in B we will be staying there. It was the cleanest building we’ve been in. The condo itself was extremely clean, again the cleanest we’ve ever walked in to. I would highly recommend and we will be staying there again!

Lovely stay

My husband and I came with our 2 year old and my father. We have stayed at the Dunes for many years and this is our first stay in this condo. We liked it overall! There are a few items that were non urgent that might use some improvements. Could really use ceiling fans!! It was a hot stay especially with a toddler and elderly person and we sweated quite a bit overnight. As another reviewer mentioned, the front bath doors would not lock or really stay closed well so there was a privacy issue. The front bedroom door you really have to shove open as the bed stops right next to it. Overall those arent huge, but for the price we expected it to be near perfect. The beds were fairly comfortable and the rooms seemed clean! We would stay again.

Great condo/Excellent location!

Loved this spot in PCB! The beds were super comfortable and this rental is on the 4th floor where there are only 5 total floors so no waiting on elevators. Checking in and out was easy and everyone staying at this facility was super nice and had good beach etiquette so no blue tooth wars on the beach. This unit also comes with free beach chair service which was nice to have and it’s conveniently located by several great restaurants and is on the ‘quiet’ side of Panama. I would definitely stay here again!

Paradise

This is the second year in a row we have stayed in this Condo and it was just as great this year as it was in the past. Very close to beach access, shopping, dining and overall a great place to stay. We brought our pet who is very timid and we could tell that he felt safe and relaxed when we checked in. If you are going to stay in PCB, I would highly recommend this unit. Great Unit and owner was very responsive. He even checked in on us to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed.

This room needs some attention!! We will not be back there. It was dirty! The furniture needs updated. Carpet needs cleaned and the bathrooms needs updated!!

Needs a little more tlc and a better cleaning crew

Over all the condo was pretty clean needs a little updated furniture in the living room. But the beds was very comfortable. The bathrooms where not cleaned very well after check in it was late so I didn’t make a complaint. I just cleaned them myself.

Great stay! Loved the view!

We had a great stay. Good location. Close to pools and beach. Our guys enjoyed the basketball goals as well. Awesome view! There are a few cons, nothing major, but overall a pleasant stay. Cons: *Check in/out times were incorrect. Check in isn't until 5pm on weekends and Check out at 9am on weekends. Latest/earliest I've ever had at any place I've ever stayed (we stay in PCB every year). *Living room furniture outdated/not comfortable and smallish for 6 adults. *Master mattress needs replaced. You kind of sink into a hole. *Guest bathroom door doesn't lock. *I had to clean master bath toilet myself. Mold. Overall cleaning of condo was definitely not worth the expensive cleaning fee we were charged. Shoukd find a new cleaner! *We had to unclog the master toilet several times during our stay. *Dryer didn't work. Needed new motor. Although not something that could have been foreseen, not being able to use the washer/dryer for a week for 6 adults was rough. We were told we could use the complex dryer but that would have been tough getting wet clothes from washer all the way to building A to have to dry. *One tiny elevator for a huge building. Nothing the condo owners can do about that but be prepared for lots of waiting. Not huge problems but some that should be addressed. I would still give overall 4 stars. Good communication. Props for being pet friendly, although be aware if you have pets afraid of fireworks, the 4th of July fireworks lasted OVER 3 hours 😬. Great beachfront location. Loved the pools. But just do some updating in the furniture dept. Would definetely come back but probably in the off season for a cheaper rate.

Wonderful stay! Awesome owner Todd took care of the issues we had with the unit immediately! Loved the property and management at dunes! First time ever that we got the room by 1230 day of check in! Definitely will stay again!
