This property was as nice as it was shown. It was clean, but like most places barefeet will get black. Floors look clean but could use a wash. Everyone loved the beds. If you like a hard one you are out of luck. They were very soft like mama bear's. The views are incredible. The unit had everything we needed for cooking. Pool was sparkling. I would go again and recommend Panama Shores. Check in instructions could have been better. You need to tell people to turn into the tunnel to check in because during spring break the streets are chaos and it was hard to see at night. Overall we were very happy. Communication was great. Heed the parking garage warnings. Spaces are tight.

Our stay was amazing. There were binoculars in our condo so that we could watch the marine life early in the mornings! We saw dolphins, schools of fish, and manatees!! The kitchen area was fully furnished and easy to use and the beds were amazingly comfortable.

Condo had a great view,but could use a few updates. It could definitely use some new mattresses they were worn out. Washing machine had mold. But be warned the Elevators suck. Long wait times and people crowded into them. You can wait upwards of 30/45 minutes. Definitely need more elevators.

Had an overall good stay at Shores of Panama. Location, pool, and beach access were great. Enjoyed being in walking distance to popular restaurants and bars. Worst thing about stay was the elevators, they had awful wait times and no ventilation so extremely hot with crowds of people. Only 4 elevators for whole complex. I know that is out of their control but for anyone looking to stay there, just keep that in mind. Also floors in room look like they hadn’t been mopped and room had a weird smell; we bought air fresheners to keep in there during our trip. We still enjoyed our vacation and these things didn’t affect our stay too much. Price was good for the size and numbers of bedrooms and bathrooms. Also 22nd floor had a great view!

Resort was nice. Garage is a nightmare. Pool is nice. Elevators are hit or miss. Condo itself was nice. Needs a new mattress in the master. One whole side of the mattress is caved in. Ice maker didn’t work, maintenance came and fixed it but it quit again the next day. Great view from a very large balcony.

Great place. Nice people no issues with property !!

Condo was nice and clean. Could use more kitchen sut. Other than having to buy a spatula to cook breakfast with since there wasn't one.. everything else was great. Loved the view and elevators were fast and no issues. A lot of reviews were how aweful the wait was but us having 8 in our group we never had to wait more than 2 minutes for one.

August 20-26, 2023 Stay

Communication about checking in at parking garage, narrowness of parking spaces, need to use wrist band to enter garage was not communicated at all beforehand. Had an issue with one female security guard who was rude, condescending and argumentative. Keep making a hmpf type of sound when communicating with us as if we were beneath her or scum. Everyone else we encountered was genuinely nice and helpful. Asked maintenance to replace a ceiling canister type light bulb over the dining room table on the first day of our stay. A man came, looked at the light and never came back. We only had one light in the dining room our entire stay. Pool area is really beautiful. Rooms were as pictured. View was amazing!

1st and only time to stay at this place!

This was a tough one considering I’ve never left a bad review about any other condo in the past years.. But this was a bad experience upon arrival with the parking staff being rude and very unhelpful to the on sight employees threatening to have me towed and removed before I could get to our condo and get our parking passes and those stupid wrist bands you get checked for every corner you turn, and although our condo included a designated parking spot we were unable to use due to the size. But I can look past those minor inconveniences. What I couldn’t look past was the roaches in our condo. We tried reaching out sat the day of check in, and the days to follow, finally got a call back Wednesday afternoon only to be told it would be Friday the day before check out that someone would be there to spray the room. Was then offered what would be our choice from a handful of places to go which was either gulfworld, Dave and busters and a couple other places for our inconvenience that they never followed thru with. And if I’m not mistaken I’m pretty sure that was included in the condo description at the time of booking to begin with. So with that being said I will not be returning to this place in the future!!

Book that condo - shores of Panama 2201

If I could leave half a star I would. I could deal with the elevators not working, I can deal with the key pad not working the morning of my wedding. But I can not deal with getting the run around when it came to having roaches in our room. I had to throw out groceries and wedding pasties. The general manager finally gave me a call back today after our stay July 22-28th.she was very unhelpful and argumentative. Not only would I not recommend this rental company for being rude and unprofessional but I would not recommend the shores of Panama at all! Broken elevators, keypads , and roach infestation. My niece was followed and taken off of the elevator because she did not have a wristband in which we were told she only needed for common areas in which she was only coming up to our room to visit. The wedding was ruined due to bugs and untimely/non working elevators. Unfortunately, book that condo does not care nor wish to help any customer. I would hope no one stays here. Our condo was 2201 so watch out! I generally feel bad for the owner of the property. I’m sure they are unaware that this condo is not being taken care of nor are they being backed by a supporting rental agency. It’s all about the money when it comes to these places. Just sad!

Great room, Terrible building

As far as the room and property manager goes this is a 10/10 recommendation. However, our room was not ready when we were told a specific time to be there we ended up waiting in the parking deck for an hour just to get the code to the room. This room is on the 22nd floor and the elevators are packed by the time it makes it to you. The only complaint about the actual room itself is sand in the beds and covering the floors when we first arrived so if we were waiting on the code because of a cleaning delay we would have expected it to be more spotless.

Condo was great! Very clean and convenient to many nearby activities and restaurants Parking was not visitor friendly. and elevators had lengthy waits. Would suggest something to make the tubs less easy to slip in.

Absolutly beautiful BUT

The condo is absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing, but the parking part was hell for us. I kept asking for help and no one would tell me where to park because we had two parking passes with the same number that's why I ask for help cause I didn't know where to park the other park the other vihicle until one person told me to park where the yellow paint is. And those DAMNNN ELEVATORS made the check out so complicating, our husbands had to use the 22 stairs up and down cause the waiting part for the elevators for like 30 min to 40 min cause it would be full to get in and to wait for it again would take so long. Other then that again the condo was amazing and just beautiful.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay.at this condo. We were there for a week during the spring break. Its is condo in a conner of 22nd floor. It has the best view of the beach. Also, we enjoyed the sunset from the balcony. The condo was very clean and came with beach chairs. This is located in a busy area where there are plenty of restaurants and kids entertainment places within walking distance. There was a Walmart right across the road. The only downsides were the slow elevator and the assigned parking lot. It was too narrow to park our mini van. It was okay for the most part until a pick up truck double parked into our space. So we ended up parking at another floor. I tried contacting the property manager via text, but no response.

Great property - a few drawbacks

The condo itself was wonderful and just as advertised. The management company was great and checked in frequently to ensure all was ok with the unit. The issues are around (as mentioned in other reviews) the elevators and the parking. There are only a few elevators and many times during peak times of the day, there were long waits for an available one - also, several cases of an "overload" on the elevator so it would stop. We were never able to use the assigned parking space as they are all EXTREMELY tight - the post took up a little of the spot and the vehicle in the next spot was very close to the line. Taking both of these drawbacks into consideration (led to 4 stars instead of 5) which might lead to looking for another option.
