The best part of this property was the location and amenities. It is nestled between 3 beachside restaurants Sharky’s, Runaway Island, and senor frogs. Also pizza, Mexican, and ice cream are all within very short walking distance. It was very family friendly. There is a pool, tiki bar, sky bar, Starbucks, and surf shop all at resort. You can easily go here and not have to drive anywhere. We will go back but with some understanding of the downsides.
Condo room:
When we arrived, the garage code that was sent to us was incorrect and did not work. Also our code to get in our condo was incorrect. This was stressful. But I was able to reach the rental manager for both codes. The condo itself was spacious but furnishings were very run down. Surprisingly the bed was pretty comfortable. The TV in the bedroom did not have local channels.
Property:
The elevators did not consistently work right. We waited one time for 20 minutes for an elevator. And since one of the escalators was also broken, to go from our condo to the parking garage, we had to ride 3 different elevators. When the elevators didn’t work right it was a time suck for sure.
The property had a lot of unpleasant smells and was more run down than we expected since being built in 2007. I did not want to drink at the sky bar or get food from the facility because the smell was pretty bad. And they try to cover it up with air fresheners that all smell different. It was a lot.
