Splash resort never disappoints, kids loved it! The condo is beautiful, well-maintained, and has great views. The beds were comfortable, although the sofa bed frame could be replaced as the top of it would not lay flat. The room is across from the elevators which is nice! The elevators are quick, smooth, wait times were minimal. It would be even better if this condo included two beach chairs in the cost of your stay… Check-In and Out super easy with Ocean Reef. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!!

The only thing that I can say in a negative review was that the kitchen wasn’t stocked very well. Plates were on the top shelves and couldn’t not reach them.

Great Stay!

Loved our time here. The pools were great, although they could use a little more cleaning. Lots of bugs fly in the atrium and fall into the pool, and it only was cleaned in the mornings. The room was fantastic- you could tell it has been well loved, but honestly, it was perfect for our small family with littles. The condo was lacking in kitchenware. There wasn’t a cookie sheet and no oven mitts- found that out as we had a pizza in the oven. This condo is the perfect location, and the beach access is perfect. Loved that they had a little restaurant place for snacks and adult beverages. Everything we needed was onsite and the communication was on point. We would come back again!

Kids had fun

Nice stay, awesome view. The kids really enjoyed the little waterpark and pools. The wait for the elevator wasn't long. We love the beach but want to leave the sand out there lol. I found a broom but no dust pan, i just swept constantly and piled it near the trashcan (im gonna have to start packing a small vacuum). Im not sure if this particular unit was overlooked in the cleaning process before my stay...we found used towels in a few drawers, half full trashbag in the closet, clothes in washer & dryer, the master bed had sand in it and smelled funky (for this reason, i always pack matress protectors/covers to use on top of beds when i stay somewhere). I understand that sometimes cleaning can be overlooked so its not that big of a deal for me...we all still enjoyed our stay...the kids didnt complain so thats a win. We will definitely book again at Splash!

Prefect location

Room is directly in front of elevator. I also read reviews before and seen some negative reviews but I believe the room has been updated. There was plenty of cooking utensils and the room was very clean. I would definitely book this room again. It was great.

Splash 1202E and Ocean Reef management

Condo was clean and spacious and gulf view was great! Only issue which was no fault of VRBO or Ocean reef was the condo directly above was being renovated so it was some loud noises at times during the day but respected the “no noise” times of the condos. Ocean Reef management was great to book with, stayed in contact through email and even let us know we could stay a day earlier for a discount. Overall great place to stay.

Beautiful view

Overall the unit was nice, however, no skillets. This is the first time we have stayed at a condo with insufficient cookware. Very limited handicapped parking spaces (2) my husband has COPD and has a hard time with all the walking.

This place was very nice. I would offer a channel guideline for the television as we were trying to find all of the March Madness games. I also would offer a cheaper option for beach chairs. 40.00 per chair a day. Could there be chairs offered cheaper for a week? It did get noisier during the 2nd week as more families with older kids came in. There were remodeling going on next door too.

The condo was in a good location. The kitchen didn’t have salt/pepper or a frying pan!

We bought a frying pan and left it in the kitchen. As well as salt/pepper packets. The master bedroom was dirty. We found a alarm clock behind the bedroom end table. There was 1 roll of toilet paper…. We stayed 2 weeks.

Good New Years get away

Condo was very nice. I felt it could have been a little cleaner. Floors were dirty and found vapes in corner and behind tv. Kitchen could be stocked a little better also. I had to go out to purchase pans and a baking sheet. Location was great, And beds were comfortable. Pools weee heated well.

Wonderful stay!

The check in process was so easy! We were notified the property was ready for an early check in so we got to get in a few hours early. The condo was clean and very well stocked. They even had box fans in each bedroom!l closet. When we arrived we had a small issues with the bedroom lights not turning on. I made a call to the after hours and someone responded and resolved the issue within 5 mins! The beach is beautiful, the pools are awesome and loved that Alvin’s Island is attached to the garage. Would definitely stay again.

Nice for a short stay

It was a nice place to stay and our kids really enjoyed the pools and splash zone with slides. The beach was super close and chairs were available for rent ($60/day for 2 chairs and an umbrella available from 8am-5pm). Splash did a great job keeping the beach area and pool decks clean! The unit was nice and sufficed for a short stay. Be forewarned, even though it says 4pm check-in, the property management company states that they begin checking people in at 4 and that doesn’t mean your room will be ready then. We arrived in PCB (after a 10 hour car ride) right at 4 expecting to check in to our room to shower and change for a wedding. I messaged through VRBO and through their request site to try and get in touch to find out when we could get in. They responded very quickly to my messages and said someone would clean it. We then had to drag 3 kids around trying to figure out what to do while we waited for our room for 3 hours. We were finally able to get in to our room at 7pm and someone did stop by to make sure everything was cleaned appropriately and she was very sweet. Just be aware when booking that you might not be able to get in to your room until later that night so have a back up plan. Positives—beautiful views from the balcony with nice porch furniture, washer and dryer in unit was nice, plenty of towels for everyone! Negatives—only 2 elevators for the whole tower so expect long waits, no known check in time, the arcade is no longer open there (it’s been changed to a cafe), and minor inconveniences like lamps that didn’t have anywhere to be plugged in, not enough silverware, missing fire detector in front of unit, no broom/vacuum to sweep up messes, missing knobs on drawers to open them, etc.

Very clean and spacious

We loved staying at Splash 1202E! The views were incredible with the extra long deck! One extra that I loved that most places do not have is the wall adaptor to be able to charge many electronics at once! I didn’t realize how much we would love that and how convenient it would be for the kids tablets! Great stay and great management for responding to any and every question we had!

The splash experience

Great clean place. Lazy River was heated, grills great, bedding and linens clean and amount great. Elevators moved well and cleaned daily. Would have liked to be notified more about who owned condo and how ocean reef manages the property. Loved the beach and conservation Park walking trails. Zoo was nice, but pricey.
