Perfect location

3rd floor & reserved parking spot was perfect for this unit. No fighting for elevators. Overall, the place was good. Would stay again, plenty of room for family of 5. No washer or dryer in the unit and they only leave you 1 towel/cloth per person. The bathrooms could use some TLC.

The unit was dirty it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages. The floors were disgusting it wasn’t swept or mopped the countertop were not wiped down the remote to the tvs were sticky the ceiling fans were full of dust the mattresses in the master bedroom was broken you can feel the springs the bedding were not washed balcony has not been cleaned in a long time. The unit would have been 5 stars if they actually pay someone to clean it when they charge you a cleaning fee instead it looks like they expect the occupants to clean prior to leaving. I would not stay in this unit again

Beautiful Condo

We loved the location and third floor. We could not hear anything outside if we went to bed early, and we didn’t have to wait for elevators since it was on the parking deck. Parking spot so close to the condo. It’s so cozy and felt like home. They had so much space, towels, sheets, dishes, and beds. We had one cancel and one gouge pricing so when we found this gem, we were scared. It was perfect. Thank you.

Great condo

Our family came down for 4 days and had a great stay. The checkin process was pretty simple. The parking spaces are very tight. The room was easy to get into. Old sheets still left on the beds (food in between the sheets of one, the rest just dirty).We made sure we stripped the bed when we left so it wasn’t so easy for housecleaning to leave the same sheets for the next group. The rest of the condo was pretty clean and had the basics that we needed. The pool is the best feature by far. Staff was very friendly.

Quality over Quantity

First visit to Panama City Beaches in Florida and when my family is vacationing quality of stay is key. So, when we booked the property looked amazing from photos and the price met our expectation; however, after arrival there were some concerns (water damage, cable/internet issues, insects (live/dead, house-keeping) that I felt necessary to share with management via email following check out because I would want them to be made aware of our stay. Overall, the concerns did not impede our ability to enjoy our vacation and the property -Shores of Panama condo is ideal location to the beach, Wal-mart, and offers a great pool-side experience.

Unpleasant Stay

Walked into condo with A/C unit on 78 degrees. Needless to say, sweat poured off us for 2 hours as we tried to unpack. Listing says 2.5 baths but half baths are supposed to have (at least) a stand up shower. Bathroom off bunk room only has a toilet & sink. Killed several roaches while we were there (in the den & small bathroom). We love Shores of Panama & this is our 5th visit to the complex but his unit needs some attention. Would not recommend, would not stay here again - especially for the cost which totalled almost $1000.00 for 4 nights.

Great location. Room has a great view of the pool.

Stayed with 3 family members. Check in was simple and the room was clean and spacey. We really loved the view of the pool and the ocean off in the distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beach, dirty room

Our unit needed a good cleaning before we arrived. Dirty sheets and quilt on bed, dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Contacted Vacations Preferred and the cleaning svc mgr assured our operator it had been inspected. Operator assured me she would contact property owner. Never heard back. This is NOT acceptable.

Roaches, Black Mold, and I was ignored.

The beginning of our stay was okay seemed like the whole condo was decent. During the second day my husband had to go get garbage bags because were only provided one in the can (which is my fault for not bringing any) it was listed in the “things to know before you go”. But the property manager was quick to respond to let me know that. That was fine totally my fault. That same day I killed a roach in the master bedroom, but i gave them the benefit of the doubt… just one bug right? As the day went on I started noticing other things. The master shower head was covered in black mold, the seemed of the bathtub had it as well. The sink on the right side did not drain properly and the garbage disposal didn’t work. There was (what looked like blood) on the bed skirt in the other bedroom and on the baseboards too. That shower was just as grimy. I ended up killing MULTIPLE roaches throughout our stay. They were everywhere. But I wanted the lady to know of all these issues so I texted her (on the same number we had been talking on the entire time) to let her know we would be leaving a day early and that it would be a good time to fix these issues….. NO RESPONSE…. I texted again the next day to make sure she got my text…. No response again. I get that things happen but I just spent over 1k on your room and for you to not make things right or at least apologize for it really shows what kind of people own this place. I’ve went on plenty vacations through VRBO and I’ve never had to leave a bad review until now. I normally give people grace. But not this place. You’ve been warned.

Parking nightmare

The property was nice with the pool and beach area. Our condo was just okay but had mold on shower curtain and in bathroom. There was water damage on some walls with cracking paint. We fit well with 8 people. The parking garage was a nightmare. We paid 60 dollars for parking and had to park over a half a mile away in public parking paying another 6.00 dollars one night at 11:30 at night because there were no more unreserved parking spaces. Getting in and out of the parking garage is very difficult and fitting large SUV in some parking spots were very difficult. We had fun being at the beach but will not be visiting here again.

Amazing condo!

Our stay was great! The only problems we had were collage students . They were all loud and didn’t care about the quiet time. They also decided it was cool to pull the fire alarm one night at 5-6 pm and the next night and 1 am 3 times in a row. Other then that , our stay was amazing ! We loved it and will be back 🥰

A dump

Paid in excess of $2000 for a week here. Way overpriced. Room and property in general were not clean or well maintained. TV worked sporadically, internet not at all, stains in toilet, empty cans and trash on balcony. Metal doors were corroded and needing paint. In addition to the $2k rental they hit you up for an additional $60 to park (limited spaces at that) Never again!

Run Down Property, Rough Oceans

Essentially after Hurricane Michael, Shores of Panama is getting run down in its common areas. The pool area needs some renovation, the building is nasty and at least needs pressure washed.

Room was fine, Shores of Panama not so much

Check in was super simple, the room was clean, and nicely decorated, with a nice view, comfortable beds and furniture. There was minimal cell service in the unit, and WiFi didn’t work the whole time we were there. There was a number left for the service provider, but who wants to troubleshoot WiFi on vacation?? It was next to impossible to park our standard F250 in the garage you pay an additional hefty fee to park in. There were a handful of “oversized vehicle” slots, if you happen to not get one of these spots you were handed a flyer of public parking lots 1 or more miles away that you would have to pay an additional fee for. Luckily we were only on the 3rd floor because the elevator situation was terrible as well (we didn’t use them a single time our trip). Either they were out of service, over crowded, or had a 30 minute wait to get on. The concierge, Trish, was no help and had a major attitude.

Excellent Condo

The condo and resort is wonderful. The only downfall is the elevators. They definitely need to upgrade. I stayed a week and was never able to get on one.
