Gets the job done!

My son and I went down for a baseball tournament and found this property. It was perfect for us. LOVED being on the 3rd floor w/ parking ON our floor so easy access to our car and we only had to walk a couple of flights to get to the pool whereas our friends waited a LONG time at various times of the day for an elevator. Compared to teammates our room was clean. I don't think you can ever find a place that isn't going to have a little leftover sand. Plenty of towels. Great selection of stuff to bring to the beach for fun including a wagon (but you definitely need two people to help with pulling pushing as it's not made for sand). We would stay again.

Great condo

The condo did not disappoint. We loved the location on the third floor and our view was amazing. The condo was clean and well furnished. The property management group was very helpful as communication was timely and efficient. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who plans to stay at The Shores of Panama.

Nice Condo!

The condo was clean, the view was beautiful. I loved having the extra wide balcony! The patio furniture was nice and they had a wagon and extra beach toys! The pots and pans were nice and there was plenty of baking dishes, pizza pans, etc. Full size washer and dryer were very appreciated! My only “complaint” is that the mattress in the master bedroom is very (too) firm and the pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable. The sheets were rough and scratchy. Again, minor complaints, but nothing we couldn’t live with. The resort was very busy (spring break), but we had zero issues. The pools are not heated so they were very chilly and we wished there was more than one outdoor hot tub for a property of this size as it was always busy with 25-30 people at a time. The elevators are very busy, so having a 3rd floor unit made taking the stairs a lot more convenient. The snack shack has great food made fresh which was nice for a quick meal, especially for the kids! The tiki bar has excellent drinks! Would definitely recommend!

Clean and nice workers

They keep the resort very clean and everyone was super nice. Parking garage was tight but we didn’t have any trouble. The sofa was uncomfortable. However the bed was very uncomfortable. I would stay here again.

Beautiful view

Floors where dirty and has sand every where on the floor ,furniture has dust on tops like they did not cleaned in a while, much less that morning before we got there ,porch table also was dirty,condo needs a deep cleaning(or even just a cleaning) popcorn,and coins under sofas, it looks like they charge u for a cleaning, but they do the minimun. They send someone that same day to mop the floors , but he come and mop them in 5 min and left he don’t even sweep ,so I asked for a broom and they provide me one( 3 days later). People who work at the place were nice to us . The place it self is very nice , and the view was beautiful ,but the condo Needs better take care off.(cleaning , mopping,dusting) the website for xplorie never work(it says it has a virus) to get any free activities (so we did not got any)

Property was very clean upon arrival. Condo had everything we needed. The last few days after a big storm we couldn’t get the tv in the main room to work again. Internet was a bit spotty in the evenings but not a big deal.

Spring Break 2023

The room was nice and clean. The sofa was not comfortable and seems to be worn out. The wait for elevators was terrible , I was happy we were on the 3rd floor. We took the stairs most of the time. Over all the condo was great and we loved the pool area.

We enjoyed staying at shores of Panama. The room was a beautiful room it was not very clean the floors had sand on them and I had to clean the bathroom the floors and shower and toilet was dirty. The balcony was not swept sand all over the chairs and table. The garbage disposal was clogged. Other than that the room is very nice.

Dump! NONE OF THE TVS EVEN WORKED

Smelled like Marijuana extremely strong for 2 plus days in our bedroom/bathroom. We had to keep the doors open and it still smelled. Even the cleaning lady that came back to bring us stained wash cloths stated that when she was there cleaning it smelled so strong that she was trying to air it out and the man that stayed there the night before came back while she was cleaning to "look for something". Sketchy.. This was not stinch from a neighboring unit. This was definitely the people that stayed before us puffing away. Disgusting. I was so embarrassed when people came to deliver food to us... The unit was not very clean either... There was an old dried up sponge underneath the coffee tables, stained towels, sand everywhere, black hairs on bedding, etc. The AIR CONDITION was force set to where you couldn't adjust it under 70° so we couldn't sleep for at all our entire stay because it was too hot in our room, even using their dust filled box fan provided. NOT 1 DECENT NIGHT OF SLEEP AT 70°!!! All of the pillows where hard like sand bags. There are blood stains on the right side of the pull out sofa mattress. So gross... The bunkbed needs to be replaced as it's completely unsafe, wobbly and worn out. Noone over 40 pounds should ever attempt the top bunk. NOT ONE of the tvs worked and there also isn't a TV in the bunkbed area. Luckily we brought our own Roku's, a computer and portable DVD players... The top inner door lock is busted like someone busted the door at one point. (You can actually zoom in on this listing at the door amd see it). A coster holder was broken sitting in a bowl of decorative items. I can't even believe the condition of this unit. It's so run down. I've been staying at the Shores of Panama for 10 years and this unit is a complete dump that's worth about $50 a night. I will absolutely never rent from this company again. Also, this is the 1st time I've ever had to PAY for pool wrist bands and a parking pass.

Shores of Panama #314

We booked a short stay with our family of 5. Our two hour flight from OKC was cancelled causing an unexpected 16 hour drive. As a result, we lost our first night of the reservation so it cut our time even shorter. We were pleased with the accommodations. Check in was easy. The 3rd floor parking was convenient with the elevator situation. The view was breathtaking. The pool was perfect for our needs. The soft sands and beautiful sunset was good for the heart. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to spend here. If we ever return to this area, I will definitely be looking to reserve the same room!

2nd Stay at SOP

This was our second stay at Shores of Panama and we loved every minute of it! Our condo was perfect and staff were friendly. Close to everything we needed. We had six people in a Jeep Cherokee so we did not bring as much stuff with us this year. Luckily out condo had beach chairs and a wagon. We bought a new umbrella, 10x10 canopy and chair and donated it to our condo since we had no room to take it home with us. We will definitely rent this condo again! ❤️

Great vacation.

Condo was on 3rd floor in middle of resort. It had everything we needed. Perfect view of ocean and pool. It was clean and as pictured..no surprises. Security at resort was great. We had perfect weather.

Beautiful Resort

Excellent service, very well- kept. The pool and view of the ocean could not have been better. Close to anything you might need. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the condo was beautifully decorated.

Spring Break

The property overall is nice. Super convenient to have parking on the level that your staying. We were in 314 which is in the "middle" of the building which made unpacking and repacking our car easy. The parking stalls are VERY narrow making it tight to park our truck. The condo was plenty big for my husband, my 13 year old and myself. Nice to have 2 bathrooms so that parents don't have to share with kids. Nice to be on the 3rd floor during Spring Break week as we didn't have to use the elevators to get up and down from the beach. This complex is right on the beach so that is very convenient with easy access. This is a very busy part of Panama City as it is right next to Pineapple Willy's restaurant. There was a "panamania" event that occured the first weekend we were there which led to a stressful weekend but this was nothing the Condo could control and the police in town handled everything very well. My point is, if you want quiet and serene, this is not the place to stay during Spring Break. Our only complaint really was that the outdoor pool is not heated. I feel that this should be advertised and clear to guests renting in March when the weather being warm can be hit or miss. Our group of kids did not swim in the outdoor pool once because it was too cold! There is an indoor pool but who wants to use that when the sun is shining? Overall, we had a nice week with a group of friends celebrating senior spring break.

Excellent location, but NO RECYCLING AVAILABLE! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE--ESPECIALLY WITH 800 + CONDOS. RECYCLING IS A MUST. THERE WERE TOO MANY PLASTICS THROWN AWAY. AT THIS RATE, WE WILL BE SWIMMING IN PLASTICS IN JUST A FEW YEARS1
