  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

The views were spectacular! We enjoyed our stay at this property . Overall I recommend it. We did find the floors dirty , the fire alarm battery needed a change as it kept beeping, 2 light bulbs needed change ( would not work). Otherwise such a perfect place for a perfect beach holiday! Thank you !

Perfect for our family

We had a family of 6 stay here for 4 nights. The location was absolutely perfect. It was in the middle of everything. The Pier, St Andrews park, wonderworks, ripleys, walmart and of course all the restaurants. We have stayed in plenty of condos previously this was perfect. Stocked well in the kitchen with items you need. (Make sure to bring everything but cooking utensils) Cooking while seeing the beach and ocean! Balcony was amazing with numerous chairs. hearing the waves from.the bedrooms at night (with the doors shut) was great!! Check out was easy. All the pictures are exactly the way it is in person. We do not have any complaints and will most definitely be staying again. Communication with the property was superb. Only thing i can add is clean under the beds. When i looked prior to us leaving i noticed a few things that were not ours.

Needs updates

The views are beautiful. Edgewater community has incredible amenities. This particular property desperately needs updates. The kitchen and counters in the bath have been redone and they are stunning. But there are lots things that need renovations. The outdoor space paint is peeling off everywhere. The baseboards and walls are dinted, dinged, and haven't been updated since probably the 90s. The master bathtub has a weird mirror in the shower and the paint from the tub is flecking off. The laundry door doesn't close so it sticks awkwardly into the hallway making it difficult to get to the bathroom. There are lots of little things like taped curtain rods and mold or grime (not sure which) in crevices everywhere. ALSO...and this was a big deal, the place is not outfitted as the pictures show. There are no rugs anywhere. The leather off of the ottomans is badly torn to shreds and falls off into the floor whenever you move it. It's just...old. The views are beautiful, but the windows off the kitchen are either so dirty that they have a film on them or they are fogged up, restricting you from seeing the beautiful coast from inside. I will say that there are plenty of toiletries and supplies, which I was grateful for. The kitchen was very nicely stocked, making cooking easy, and the unit as a whole is very spacious. The building is the last of the property, so just know that it's a walk to get to the lagoon pool or the store. Finally, I will say that the host was very responsive.

Sea Forever

The condo has a great view since it is on the 6th floor and is an end unit. The balcony wraps around 2 sides and there is a nice sitting area. There are nice ocean views inside the condo also because 2 walls of the main living area are windows. However, the condo does need some updating and refreshing!

Family Beach Trip 2023

Of course we love Edgewater. It’s a wonderful place to stay. The condo definitely needed some attention. Sliding glass doors didn’t work, the floors were terribly dirty, patio chairs stacked in living room, overall condo was very outdated for the price. We had a severe storm and when we woke the next morning we had water on the floor where the rain had apparently leaked in. We had a great time weather could have been a little nicer.

Beautiful Views Needs some updates

We loved our stay! Beautiful views, lovely end unit, very nice complex. My review would be a 5 however the unit had very sandy floors and is in need of some capital improvements. 2 Non functional sliding doors (bedroom and dining room), had to call for maintenance on the warm refrigerator, the tub was dripping. Maintenance was very responsive. When we arrived the floors were very sandy turned our feet black, we all had to wear socks by the time we left the floors were a lot cleaner as compared to when we arrived. A automatic vacuum would be a good idea for these tile floors! Overall we loved our stay and would book again!! PCB is a great place for both family and adult fun!

Do not recommend this property

Property is dated and 2 of the 4 beds were either broken or springs poked through the mattress. We had issues with the TVs but maintenance did get these fixed on day 4 of our stay. The tile floors were filthy and a few kitchen cabinet doors were broken. Location is great and the huge balcony were the only positives

Boyfriend Birthday!!

We had an absolute blast!!! This unit was huge and so clean!! It had everything we could want and so much space, we didn’t even need!!! You can walk or drive to main big pool but it’s also quaint enough for privacy! We will stay here again!!!
