The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Condo was nice with a great view, however it needs to some updating that should be simple fixes that seem pretty inexcusable. Ceiling fan in bedroom did not work; there was a box fan sitting on the floor. One of the lamps on the side table in living room did not work (all light bulbs/lamps should be tested or at least have spares on supply). Remote control batteries were dead; we had to go buy new ones. The pull-out sofa sags on one side and needs fixing. There was only ONE spare pillow for the sofa and the pillowcase did not even fit it; we had to go buy more pillows for everyone to be comfortable. The sheets on the bed did not fit a king; they would not even fully cover it. The shower curtain rods did not look like they had ever been replaced. They were all rusted over (a simple 10 replacement is all it would take). Overall, the condo is fine; we knew it was an older unit so did not expect something luxurious, but simple fixes, updates, and just caring about the little details would have worked wonders.

Enjoyed out stay

We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater. The resort property is huge and having multiple pools to choose from was really nice. The view from 904 in tower 2 is great and the sunsets were amazing. The condo is very large and there is plenty of space. Most everything was clean and in good condition. There are 3 negatives worth mentioning...1) The drop ceiling in the master bathroom has black mold on it. 2) The sliding glass door from the master bedroom to the balcony does not lock. 3) There was a strange scratching noise that we heard most nights in the ceiling above the master bedroom. The sound was so alarming that we jumped out of bed and used flashlights to search the condo. We were convinced some sort of animal was walking around. It took a few nights to figure out the sound was coming from the ceiling and not the floor of the condo. We don't think the noise was from the family staying above us because one family checked out and another checked in, yet the strange sounds continued. I still have no idea what was causing the noise.

Just as promised. Large rooms, nicely furnished. Stocked kitchen. Ready when promised (actually got early checkin). Resort facilities are excellent. Will request this unit again when one-bedroom is enough for our group.

Great stay

We had a really great time. I did have to clean the dryer lent cover track in order for the cover to close. There was a hand full of lint in the track slide, the cover would come up about three inches short of going all the way closed.

Great Location

We loved our stay here. First, it is easy to get to the pool at this tower, the lagoon pool, and beach! Second, the restaurant on site is great if you do not want to leave the resort with many options and kids selections. I used the gym several days and there is a small charge, but worth it to only have people in there to work out. No kids or teens playing around. There is a nice yoga studio and all the equipment was well maintained. Finally, all the things we love to do are on this end of the beach. Coconuts is a great place with a maze and mini golf. We tried out the black light mini golf nearby call Rain Forest, perfect for a rainy day or if you have younger kids in the group. There were plenty of towels in the unit for us and I really like that they text you to let you know when the unit is ready! Fabulous view of the ocean, even from the master bedroom!

Wonderful getaway!

Breathtaking views from the living room/kitchen/ and king size bedroom! Everything was clean and exactly as shown on the site. Pools and grounds were beautiful! Loved the tropical landscaping around the pools. We will definitely be back!!

Best beach view ever! The condo was very clean and everything seemed to work. It was so nice having a washer/dryer combo with all the wet clothes and sandy towels. King mattress is very firm, which I prefer, but may be very uncomfortable for someone that prefers a plush mattress. My only complaint is the sliding balcony door in the Master was too difficult for us to open. I would have liked to sneak out there and not use the main door since my 6 yo son was sleeping in the living room. Overall, would definitely stay again!
