Beautiful area

The area was beautiful and close to lots of things to do. The condo was good enough, but I feel for the price I paid it should have been cleaner and more accommodating. All the beds had sand in them before we ever got in them. Not enough forks or glasses but we made due. The tub in the master bath was leaking so unable to use it, which was one of the reasons I picked this condo.

Great location

This property was a great location. The condo was very spacious and stocked enough to cook just about anything. The coffee pot does not take regular filters so get the cone ones. The condo itself needs a good thorough cleaning and minor maintenance on a few things. The elevators are extremely crowded, slow, and take forever during check in times and about the time everyone is coming back from the beach. I suggest brimming your own towels, there were not enough for 8 ppl.

It was awful. We will not be back. The condo was disgustingly dirty. It was not clean when we arrived although the company said they were taking extra precautions during the pandemic. Even after it was clean it was still dirty, trash under beds, along the bunk beds, sticky counters, and pillows that smell like dog pee. The pull out sofa bed still had dirty linens on it. The elevators took forever, 10-15 minute wait for one every time. The property is not easy to navigate. The beach was dirty, trash everywhere There was a murder/police shooting by the lobby one morning we were there.

I will never rent from Vacasa rental properties again and we will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Our air conditioner was broke before we checked in and they admitted it to us after we called and complained about how How hot our room was for three days with no call back And no one to show up from maintenance as promised by them. Two of the TV we couldn’t watch and I had your teenage kids and even after the fourth day of calling and complaining when they came out to fix it only one was fixed. The unit was supposed to have to Some expert cleaning done during this COVID which included sanitizer ion and I found hair in the drawers with broken makeup containers and mildew. Hair dryer broken in guest bathroom. Toilet paper holder barely hanging on wall in master bathroom with a hole in the drywall that needed to be fixed. Brown spots on the ceiling in the shower of master bathroom from leaking roof. We only had 3 towels and 1 washcloth for 7 scheduled guest at check in and it took hours to get supplies for us to shower. That was the only thing that they actually did fix There were others minor cosmetic damages that definitely needed to be repaired in the unit but you better take pictures so you don’t get charged the damage fee. Also not enough glasses for 7 adult/teenage guests. They have 3 large glasses and 4 small glasses and then about 40 plus coffee cups????? We called repeatedly from the day we checked in and was promised that someone would be out and call us each day and no one showed up. Then we started calling multiple times a day by Monday. My husband finally spoke with Rachel, the manager, who admitted the they knew the AC unit was broke Before we checked in and didn’t call us to let us know. This company is the worst company we have ever seen and we used to love this place!

We loved staying at Laketown Wharf. The property amenities were wonderful. My 9yo loved the pools. Very close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping.

Nice week getaway, but...

Overall the condo was nice. Bed I master had a dip on one side and the sofa bed had springs coming through the mattress itself. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, except a wine opener. The facilities around the condo were nice and easy beach access.

The place was a great location, and the room being on the same level as the upper pool was great!

Overall fantastic, besides waiting on the elevator. I would recommend using the one by the pool which we didn't realize was an option until the last day, but will know for next time.

Great family vacation. The view was wonderful.

We loved the stay at Laketown Wharf. The condo was very roomie. It had everything we needed. It was only a short walk to the beach across the street. We loved the Laketown Wharf Buffett and the candy and ice cream shop. Can’t wait until next year. We will be back. ❤️🌊🏝

Very nice place.

Everything was perfect. Exactly the way they told us. I suggest putting instructions close to A/C Thermostat. I could not make it works. Very nice and helpful people on front desk of the building. Beach and area all amazing. Thanks. Mercia and friends.

Loved the condo. Staff was great. Place was very central to most attractions and beach

Nice building, comfy beds, clean and spacious. Lots of dishes and pots and pans. Nice view of the lake with fountains from the balcony and view of the gulf coast from the back door. Very convenient to most attractions and superwalmart with liquor store across the street.

Conveniently close to the 10th floor pool and parking garage easily accessible. No ocean view but overlooking the lake was still pretty. Good location.

Elevators are slow but the owner can't do anything about that. Loved the nightly light show. Only suggestion we would make is to get new oven mitts as the ones there are very thin and burned us taking pans out of the oven. Thank you for a great stay!

Very nice homely unit with excellent view.

Unit was great. Nice for a family and very spacious. Great location to stores and Wal-Mart across the street. My only complaint would be the carpet was stained in spots and throw pillows on bunk bed had stains but I would stay again. Great stay.

Loved the location. Really liked the Laketown Wharf complex. Walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Good golf courses near by. The unit was very well decorated and fully equipped kitchen. However, the sleeper sofa couch was very uncomfortable to sit on. Both beds were very soft and you sank like being in a hammock. Carpet needed to be cleaned and both bathrooms were dirty. It met our needs for the month but would look at other units or complexes next time.
