The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Parents who paid a hefty price to stay here

Villa was extremely dirty. The door was wide open when we arrived & the sliding doors to the patio facing the tennis courts were unlocked & not secured. Someone had obviously been in the master bed. Sheets were dirty & obviously used. Water in bathroom floor. Found out later, the toilet leaked. Over 1/2 of that day was spent waiting on the maintenance guy to get that fixed. They floor was never cleaned after he left as we were told someone would be sent back out to clean that floor. We were up till almost 1am with the cleaning lady & her crew as they stripped beds, added clean lines, mopped floors, cleaned windows, countertops & bathrooms. There were food crumbs, particles, etc on the living room furniture, tables & on the floors. Stains of spills or only Lord knows of what on both sofas that the cleaning crew also removed while there. They even stated how dirty the condo conditions were & that this was not acceptable. Carpets are stained-need to be replaced. Handprints & food on the mirror wall & above the bar area above with mirror glass. Spider webs in corners of the rooms that were not knocked down for some time. We lost basically days from our vacation time, but we we only refunded the cleaning fee we had already paid for in our contract. We were told a manager would call us, but that never happened. The lady we spoke to obviously had her script & was not very empathetic to what we were dealing with upon arrival & the fact we lost the next day as well.

Lost Shaker of Salt

Our villa was very nice and close to all of the fun at the resort. We felt villa could have been a little bit more clean. We found left over food under couches and sleeper sofa. Retrieving our parking passes was the most difficult as it did take several days and we had to get daily passes. Tried to reach out over VRBO to owner and was unsuccessful the entire week. The staff at Emerald Beach and Edgewater were very nice however and very helpful.

Family vacation

Villa was in good condition and we liked having the small pool close to the back door. The main pool was nice but there was no place to sit. All chairs were taken and the resort has started renting a section of chairs at the pool. We would stay in this villa again. We liked the 1st floor convenience. Thanks

Perfect vacation.

This was by far the easiest checkin and checkout process ever. We come to PCB Edgewater, 1-2 times every year, so this is a big positive review. Everything was perfect, & exactly what was promised. Property manager(s) we’re super easy with communication. We loved it! Thank you, Emerald Beach Properties!

Great Beach Stay

This villa is in the perfect location. There’s a nice pool right outside the back sliding door. Also, it’s a very short 5 minute walk to the beach. They do offer beach trams, but it’s an easy walk so we didn’t use the tram. You really don’t need to leave the resort. There’s nice pools, beautiful beachfront, golf, tennis, gym, restaurant, etc. The villa is very comfortable and spacious. We had an issue with the TV and within about 30 minutes of calling there was an edge water worker there to fix it. The villa itself was clean, but the bathrooms weren’t as clean as I’d expect from the rest of the house. Housekeeping needs to take note to make sure bathroom floors are cleaned and tubs scrubbed down. Nothing I couldn’t take care of in a few minutes after arriving, but not fun to clean on your vacation ;). Overall we were very pleased with the Villa and would stay there again if we’re in the area.

Home away from home

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! We didn't want to leave. The unit is very spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped. And was very clean. My only issues with this property was the whirlpool tub didn't work and I couldn't make the shower work. Also the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but thanks to the list of items recommended to bring we were prepared for that. The property managers are easy to contact, friendly and professional. My favorite thing about this property is that it's located next to LITERALLY EVERYTHING! The most time we traveled to an event was 11 minutes to the marina for a boat ride. Other than that, there is every single thing you need right outside of the resort. I would definitely book there again. It was a very relaxing vacation.

Final Family Gathering

This was the dream trip for my mom who has terminal cancer. The location was perfect. The weather was perfect. The owners might want to invest in a better cleaning company. I don't feel that it was really vacuumed or dusted before we came. The management co was very responsive to our needs, though. And we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
