The condo itself was beautiful, comfortable, well supplied, and well maintained. However, we were not advised there would be exterior painting going on infringing on our privacy or view. We were on the 10th floor. We arrived on a Saturday. Sunday was beautiful. Opened the bedroom blinds on Monday morning, and there were painters outside (north exposure)Tuesday the painters were outside the west window, and proceeded to completely cover the window with painter's plastic. We lost our ocean view. We messaged the owner on Tuesday, who advised he knew nothing of the painting. The front desk, however, advised all owners were aware, and were to have advised their renters. Wednesday the window was still covered, and the painters were working on the balcony. We felt we had no privacy on the 10th floor, and lost our ocean view we booked, as well as use of the balcony. When we updated the owner on Wednesday evening that the window was still covered and the painters were on the balcony, he reiterated he knew nothing of the painting, and painting the exterior is a continuous year-round project as it is a 30-story building and as soon as they are done, it needs to be painted again due to the harsh sun damage. The desk denied this & advised it is only completed in the winter before spring break, not year-round. The owner offered to refund us 25% if we completed our stay, or refund us 100% if we checked out by noon the following day. We checked out, and the refund was processed immediately

The place itself is very nice. Beautiful view from the balcony, but you're on the side of the building, not in front of the ocean. Great location, walking distance to Pier Park, restaurants. Easy access to the beach and pools. One hot tub was very cold on one of the days. We went over Thanksgiving holiday, it was pretty quiet, we had no issues with the elevators as others have mentioned (no waiting lines), the cost was very reasonable. Plenty of dishes, utensils, cups. It fits 4 people comfortably, 5 is stretching it unless you really need it and the 5th person doesn't mind sleeping on the couch (not pull out, it's not a twin bed). The interior is a very basic outdated rental apartment, not a luxurious nor professionally decorated by any means, could definitely use an update. The bathrooms didn't have enough toilet paper for 5 people. The dishwasher was loaded when we arrived, I alerted the owner and noticed the same issue in other reviews, so it's probably normal for their cleaners not to unload. Couple of dirty dishes in the cabinets, probably came from the dishwasher, you have to set it on heavy for it to work properly. Normal/auto setting didn't clean well. Should be replaced.

The resort is nice Condo is as described. We registered at TideWater for our stay and the directions said no need to register at front desk but we did need to so that was confusing upon arrival. Unfortunately our unit was not clean I didnt contact owner thats on me. I just wanted to enjoy the rest of my stay we only came for a weekend.

Our stay was AMAZING! every morning I woke up and enjoyed the weather on the balcony and every night I got to enjoy the sunset! We couldn’t see sunrise but the sunset is such a beautiful site it makes up for it! The condo is beautiful and the host was amazing also. The host got back with me with any questions I asked and also let us get in early the day we arrived! I’m hoping they will accept me back as a guest soon because I miss it already and looking at dates I can come back down

Needs a GOOD CLEAN before I’d stay again.

Almost all of the elevators were broken, so you had to wait 30 minutes to go anywhere. The condo itself was nice, however.. it was dirty. Dishes still in the dishwasher, sand all over the floor, pretty sure there was black mold in the bathroom shower. The tiny tv in the queen room was bad enough on its own, but not having a remote made it worse. Only 4 coat hangers in the whole condo. The top of the fridge was so dirty we could write our name in it. The hallway bathroom toilet was being leveled by cardboard pieces. This condo could be perfect with a few upgrades (it was very well stocked and a great location) and if was cleaned really well. Needless to say, we had to wash our sheets, wipe down everything, unload the dishwasher, clean the shower, vacuum and mop (had to wash the nasty mop head first) before we could even unpack for the week!

Great balcony sunsets

Our overall experience was great. Condo is spacious and had everything we needed. You can see great sunsets from the balcony and all main areas. Two rental chairs and umbrella included was very nice to have but if you want front row, you need to get in line before they open at 8:30. Also, be prepared with patience. The elevators are definitely an issue especially during check-in and checkout times. We took the majority of our things to our car the night before checking out to avoid full elevators and no luggage carts. It worked. Saw many frustrated people waiting to get on elevators with all their things.Beach and water were perfect! Would stay here again but not during peak season just because of the sheer amount of people that could possibly stay here with 30 floors.

Absolutely love this resort. Our condo was great and clean. Communication with the host was timely. Only suggestion I have is maybe update the mattresses in the bedrooms for a more comfortable sleep. Thank you for a great week.
