Beautiful and clean condo!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this clean and cute unit on the 22nd floor. Some pros: the unit is very clean and kitchen had everything we needed. The decor is branch modern and super cute. We loved the layout and the view as you walk in, it was breathtaking! We loved the large balcony! All the bedding and towels were clean and easily accessible. The host did a phenomenal job communicating with us and we had no issues on that end. A few cons; this is in regards to the actual building/resort, which the owner has no control over. The elevator situation is bad!! Upon check in it took so long to get an elevator that wasn’t full that we had to walk our luggage up 22 flight of stairs! This was not an easy task with a toddler in toe. The best way to deal with is is to park at the ground level (or lowest possible) then you will have the possibility of using the elevator but there will be a wait. Being on the 22nd makes it a bit easier to go down so that’s a plus. There is a lot of traffic around the resort and garage so coming and leaving on a car is always a pain, walk on foot if possible. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near by 4-8 minute walk. Thank you Joannah for hosting us, your condo is beautiful and we enjoyed our time there!

Summer Getaway

We enjoyed our visit. Our condo was fine overall. The view from the 22nd floor was amazing . The downfall were the elevators. Wait time was long and frustrating. For that reason we wouldn’t stay high up again. The pool was closed for a full day. This was also frustrating but out of our control.

Amazing vacation

We had such a great stay! The condo was perfect for our family of 4. The condo was clean, the master bed was SUPER comfortable, and the view was amazing. The elevators took a long time but the advantage of being on the 22nd floor is that we were always able to get on when it got there because there was only one floor above us going down. Joannah was incredibly quick to respond and very helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location!

This was not my first stay at Shores of Panama but definitely one of the best rooms I've stayed in for sure. The condo was clean and had enough room for everyone. I would definitely recommend staying here. My girls loved it and couldn't have asked for a better Senior Spring Break. We'll be back!

Happy Family!

I'm going to start with the positive parts. This little ocean front prop is perfect for a family or couple. Everything was clean, kitchen was stocked, bed and pillows were comfy. There are beach chairs, toys and nets to borrow so you don't need to bring your own from home. There is a small room with bunkbeds and a private bath that my teenager used. In the master bedroom there is a twin hidabed that we let the little guy use and sleep independently but near mom and dad. Huge clean pool and easy access to the beach. We used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch which is easier then navigating the wait times with kids. The keycode allows for independence with the big kids. This is a great property and the host could do nothing better other then leave some extra toilet paper and trash bags and dishwasher detergent. BUT....HERE ARE A FEW IMPORTANT PEICES OF INFO. The parking garage...wow. This property actually has the best parking space for a full sized vehicle. It's in a corner so our DENALI TRUCK could fit better then most vehicles. It's tight in there and you could see the husband's all loosing their tempers trying to get around the corners. Bring your smallest vehicle or be a skilled navigator with the patience of Job. If you need to be somewhere at 6pm, if you have dinner reservations...so does everyone else. Plan accordingly. The elevator is so fast, but with thousands of guest, it is slow during the peak times. The wifi is spotty and slow. The staff members are rude and short. Like all of them... The security, coffee shop, beach rental guys were all super friendly. 22 floors up is super high 🤣 if you have a fear of heights, steer clear. There is a little tiki hut at the pool for lunch. It's great! Pack less then you think you should and make use of the washer and dryer. The AC works well but it is humid in the unit. Florida in July... Would we return? Yep. We would! Great value. Great location. Great property. Great host.

Shores of Panama

The condo was extremely clean and very comfortable. Communication with the manager was timely and thorough. It was stocked with extras to make your stay more comfortable. The elevators were extremely slow and very frustrating to wait on. Parking was also very crowded and chaotic. The complex needs more elevators and better parking. I would recommend the condo but not during the busy times.

Endless views NOT WORTH the trouble...

If you are looking for peace on your family vacation, this is NOT the place for you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We were looking for a break from the stress and aggravation of life and ended up just facing more. We were booked for 5 nights and LEFT after night 3, because things got so bad. It wasn't a SAFE environment for me or my family. I have asked for a refund for our last two nights because it was so awful, but thus far the owners have refused. Apparently all of this is acceptable and family friendly. Here is what we dealt with. The elevators were horrible....HORRIBLE. Waiting 20-30 minutes just to get on one is not an exaggeration. It took my husband over an hour to get up to the condo with groceries. They were always at risk of breaking down. The first night we were there 4 of the 6 were broken down which made lines longer. One of those had people trapped inside and they had to call the fire department to get them out. On the second night we were there, a 7 year old boy was trapped by himself for 4 hours before the fire department could get him out. Forget just running up to your room to grab something or make a sandwich. Every time you wanted to go somewhere it was a production and you had no idea how long it was going to take. There were also several issues with other guests. There was a drunken fight at the pool our second day. Two grown men went at it over towels, throwing full fisted punches and chasing each other around until the cops were called. It TERRIFIED my 12 year old who witnessed the whole thing. You could smell weed all over the property and when it was brought to security's attention, they shrugged their shoulders as if there wasn't anything to be done. Our last night, guests were throwing things off of their balconies and howling, literally, at each other. After calling security, their response was, "We are talking to them.". That same night a young man got into the elevator with a lit cigar. After my husband asked him politely to put it out (our daughter was with him) the man refused and continued to smoke. There was zero consideration for other guests on the property. It was nothing to smell pee in the elevator areas and to see people openly spitting in the hallways to the elevators. I will say the condo was very pretty which is sad considering the resort is such a train wreck. The view was great but 100% NOT WORTH IT! Don't waste your money and send good thoughts our way in hopes that we get our money back.

Property itself was great. The room was clean, and just as pictured. Perfect amount of space for my family of four. The elevators are terrible, while they were all working at the time of our visit, you could be waiting up to 45 minutes to catch an elevator. The beach was insanely crowded and small size compared to the amount of condos there. You could never get a chair by the pool bc people go out at 7 am when it opens and put towels down-whether or not they ever come back. Other than those issues the room itself was great and in a great location.

Highly Recommend

This unit, is beautiful, well kept, and very updated. Beautiful view off the double balcony. The pictures don't do any justice. There property is a perfect get away for couple or a small family. Johanna was amazing and was easy to get a hold of with any questions I had. This property is highly recommended!

My family and I stayed a week. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Property was great. Easy beach access. Tiki bar and snack shack by the pool. Also, right next door to pineapple willys for great food and drinks.

Much needed time away

This property was fine. Nothing impressive. Elevators worked on an off during our stay. When they worked, they were crowded and being on the 22nd floor, stairs really were not an option. It was loud during Spring Break with kids yelling from the balconies that echoed. The beach was beautiful and the time away was much needed.

Great Room, less than great facility

I was reluctant to even leave this as a review, as the room itself was amazing. Well taken care of, and exactly as described! But the facility itself was less than impressive, the main issue being the elevator. There are 6 elevators in this building, and at any given point, only 3 at most were working. Sometimes you had to wait 20+minutes for an elevator. I would normally just take the stairs, but when carrying beach chairs, a cooler, and having 2 young children, that wasn't exactly an option. This was not just an issue for this weekend. I spoke with a pizza delivery guy, and he said the elevators are ALWAYS like that at Shores of Panama. I would love to stay here again one day just because of how nice the pool was, and how nice the room was. But the elevator situation seriously worked on my nerves every single day I was there. This room is on the 22nd floor, so its not like the stairs are even a quick option. This is not a knock towards the room. The room was amazing. I just couldn't get over how awful the elevators were....

Great condo with beautiful view

We had a good experience in the condo and outside at the pool area and nearby beach, however the elevators were not working properly and were in and out of service the entire time of our stay. That was the biggest issue we faced. Expect major delays in your time going to and from the condo. The owner is very kind and responsive to communications.

For a family vacation, stay somewhere else.

Check in was easy, and the condo is accurately listed. Neither of the hairdryers worked in either of the bathrooms, so take your own. The condo was nice and clean (there was sand on the couch and loveseat when we arrived), and the owner was very friendly and quick to respond to us. However, the elevators are a nightmare! For the size of the complex there simply aren’t enough elevators, and when you get one half the time it doesn’t work. There is no ventilation in the elevators as well, and one had puke on the floor. We had to carry our groceries up 15 flights of stairs because the elevators were worthless, which reminds me- don’t go to the Walmart across the street (think black-Friday shopping). Next, let’s address the parking garage: too small. Whoever designed the garage didn’t think things through. Finally, for a family vacation maybe stay somewhere else. For us, we were taking a family vacation but soon realized we were staying with lots of high school kids and college students who were living it up. The condo itself was fine, and the location was nice, but we probably won’t stay there again.

Great Find & amazing pool

The property was very clean and organized. The owner was very thorough and left detailed information for everything we needed to know. The pool was amazing and very family friendly. The ONLY negative comment I have is regarding the parking. The garage clearances are lower then average so our vehicle was not able to access the parking garage with our assigned parking spot and there was only 3 oversized parking spots that were on first come basis. Because of this we were forced to park off of the property and left to walk a good distance to and from. Overall I feel like this was a great find and we would definitely recommend this unit/property.

Awesome family vacation!

Everything from booking our stay, checking in and out was the easiest process! The room was very clean, stocked with all the little things we could need, and the view is beautiful! I hope they get the elevator situation resolved, the biggest down fall of the 22 floor. We would stay here again with this owner, she was awesome!

Amazing condo!!!

The condo was perfect, very clean and had everything needed for a relaxing family vacation in Panama! The owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect with prompt communication. Was very impressed with provided games, magazines, and even beach toys for my small children. We felt like we were staying at the home of a family friend. Will be back!!!

Beautiful and Clean Condo with a gorgeous view!

The condo was exactly as pictured! Beautifully decorated and clean! We stayed for 3 weeks and Johanna was so wonderful to work with! We hope to come back in July!
