  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Love this condo

There were 4 of us the first week and 6 Adults the second week. Everyone had their own space and the gathering space & balcony were large enough to share without being crowded. This Condo is exactly as pictured. We had two minor hiccups that were handled with one phone call within 1 hour each time. Never inconvenienced any of us. We’re definitely looking forward to our next stay.

Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene forced us home Wednesday evening instead of Sunday. When we inquired about re-booking for the days we had left on our booking or a refund for the days we had left, we were told there were no rebooking or refunds unless PCB became a mandatory evacuation area. A category 4 hurricane and we can only re-book or refund if mandatory evacuation?? We live 450 miles away with a category 4 hurricane on its way and because neither us nor our kids waned to risk the lives of our grand kids…our 7 day vacay changed to a 4 day and cost a fortune. I won’t rent from this company again. VRBO is also a joke for any resolution of issues. If I can’t rent directly from an individual…I won’t rent at al!

Great Condo

We had a wonderful vacation at Edie's Escape. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The owner was very responsive to our questions, checkin was smooth and easy. The pictures don't do it justice. We would gladly stay here again!

Great property

Cleaning could definitely do better and we had problems with the top outlets in the bedrooms. The room was great and exactly like the photos. Definitely would stay in this room again!

Great condo!

My family and I enjoyed your condo very much. My parents, my sister and her family and myself and my family enjoyed the clean, spacious condo. I loved the MIL suite and the amenities in the room. Check in and out were flawless. Thank you for a great week and great memories!!

Best ever!

Such a great condo! Pictures don’t lie and all of the furniture was as comfortable as it looks. It’s equipped with everything you could need, including extra blankets when the outside weather was cooler than expected. Only thing I would recommend is one luggage rack per bedroom for the extra luggage people bring. We’ve already booked for next year!

October Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Room matched the pics and had all the things we needed. The only down side was the beach chairs and umbrella's. Our 1st full day there it was after 9am before they got them out and then another day, they had given our assigned umbrella's to someone else. The people had given our room number as their room. We had happen to go to the stand that day, because our chairs were taken. No one asked them about it. Wonder how many days the wrong rooms get charged. No one came by when we sat down each day. All our previous years as soon as we sat down, someone came by and asked our name and room #. Very lax this year. Another day we were at the beach late and they came by and wanted our chairs when they had many more to pick up and stood there and tried to move our things. Very rude.

Great location/spacious

We loved the location of LongBeach. The condo was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I did not like the 5pm check in time. Also, check out is 10am and housekeeping tried to enter our unit at 930am. Other than that, great unit.

Huge condo!! Beautiful Bathrooms!

The property was just as pictured! It’s huge and spacious! All of the bathrooms have been updated beautifully and the beds were all brand new and very comfortable! Love the location of this resort within walking distance to pineapple Willy’s and not as packed as the other resorts.

Great property and location

Our stay was awesome with just a few hiccups. Upon arrival we noticed a few flaws that we reported to maintenance and they jumped thru hoops to address. The disposal was not working and the kitchen sink was sagging from below the countertops. Both were fixed immediately. Other than those two minor repairs the only other thing we gave less than 5 stars was the overall cleanliness. It appeared the cleaning crew did a quick run thru since we found undissolved dish washer material and ketchup in the dishwasher. We also noticed the main entry door did not close properly which wasnt a huge ordeal just meant this OCD dad always made sure it clicked shut. All in all we would definitely stay again.

Rental and property in need of TLC!

I don’t normally leave negative reviews; however after our stay at Long Beach I wanted to inform others before making the same mistake our family made. This property and unit are both in need of serious repair. Paint, rust on front door, kitchen appliances, patio door, furniture and finishings all need to be replaced. The property is rundown w/ the pool, elevators, hallways, outside stucco all need attention. I’m not sure I’ve ever entered a VRBO property in need of so much attention. Extremely disappointed in the experience and condo unit, it all seems like a Class C- property. Had to join a local gym for my family ($125 for the week) for all five of us because the gym was “closed for repairs” - we won’t return to Long Beach in the future.

Great stay

Condo was very clean. Check in process was very easy. Nicely decorated with plenty of dishes to cook and feed a large gathering. Beds were comfortable and more than enough towels for the stay. Everything as described in listing. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous!!!

Amazing view of beach from every room, very clean unit, Hannah was very quick to respond to all questions. Few minor things- They could replace one or two couches, need to slam the door to shut, i don’t think it’s a heated pool, there was a hot tub. Overall excellent experience, would definitely stay there again.
