This was our second time to stay at Delmar cottage, and we loved it. The pool was great, walking distance to Thomas's donuts and the Carousel. Will stay again.

Great Stay

As for family vacation, two adult and 7 years old daughter and our pet Labrador stayed about a week in December here. Beautiful beach and heated pool, decent size of house. It was fantastic vacation!! Highly recommended.

Beach Thanksgiving Trip

Perfect little house for our family! we were able to bring our dog and 15 month old. Listing was accurate and the pool was perfect! Host was very responsive and helpful! Would stay here again!

Another Great Trip In The Books

Brennan always delivers a great experience. The house is cozy but offers everything you need for a great vacation. The pool is great and you cannot beat the location to the beach, Carousel Market, and the famous Thomas' Donuts. The weather was perfect and we can't wait to return for another trip.

Girls Trip

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach cottage. It was everything it advertised and then some. Great location within walking distance to all our favorite places the beach, Thomas's donuts and the Carousel market. Would defiantly stay again.

We didn’t stay

Our kids love pools so we had booked this place for the pool. When we arrived we went straight to the pool and saw it was covered in algae. We got in contact with the host and he had suggested we buy pool shocker and shock it ourselves. He then had pool cleaners come by to shock the pool. We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else for the night and we were refunded for the inconvenience.

WOULDN'T STAY HERE AGAIN

Property has a wonderful location but it was very dirty. Upholstery has stains as well as the bedspread. Owner covered the couch with a blanket. When we messaged owner he sent a new bedspread. My daughter and I weren't comfortable getting into a bed that had stains or using the furniture. Bathroom had a bathmat in tub that was really gross. The house was not clean. You can tell it is not managed well. The outside needs attention as well as the inside. The flooring is cracked and raised in some spots and blinds do not work. Everything is old and needs to be updated. If you are paying $500 per night you don't expect these issues.

Vacation

Just as described, 2 blocks from beach. Pool was wonderful especially right out of the master bedroom. Would definitely stay again. It was perfect for my wife and me and our 2 mini schnauzers!

Great house and location

My husband and I spent the week with our dogs and it was a great time. Wonderful location. Cute bungalow with everything you need for a getaway. The pool was great and the dogs enjoyed the patio while we enjoyed the Baja deck of the pool to relax in. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location

Great location with easy access to the beach and very nice pool area. Especially loved the outdoor shower. Host responded to a couple issues we had quickly including getting a new beach cart sent to the house because the one at the house was broken. One note for those with young kids—we didn’t feel comfortable bathing our toddler in the bath tub (didn’t quite meet our cleanliness standards because of the jets it has) so that may also be an issue for you.

Del Mar Beach Cottage

Absolutely Adorable cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Beach is literally around the corner. Our dogs loved their morning and evening walks along the beach. The grocery store is one block from the house and right across from the beach. Its very well stocked and a very impressive wine selection. Much better than big name grocery stores. Also a full liquor store and a beautiful gift shop. The pool was my favorite. We had it heated, and the pool area is lit up for night swims. Only 4 miles to pier park, which has endless shopping and restaurants. Loved this place and would highly recommend to anyone.

Perfect for our stay!

House was great for our little family and 2 dogs. Really close walk to the beach! The pool was so great for relaxing after a day of adventure and sand. House had exactly what we needed for our beach vacation.

BEST EVERYTHING

We have been to so many vacation condos and homes, but the Delmar Beach Cottage was the Best! The home was clean and so inviting and oh so cute! The neighborhood was quiet and safe! I loved the private pool so much! I seriously can not wait to go back and take our grandkids! If you ever want to sell this beautiful place call us first! Thank you for hosting us we had a wonderful time and a great experience!

Great Location, Communicative Host

Terrific location, literally a block to an awesome beach entrance (about a 4-min. walk) & just around the corner from the Carousel store (& liquor store) + a short, pretty 8-min walk to Thomas Donut (where you can also grab lunch, ice cream & pizza)-12 mins to Thomas if you walk along the beach. You could definitely park & never drive. The photos are accurate for the most part. We didn't need the 3 bedrooms &would have preferred a more open space layout, but I know most prefer the rooms. Pool's as big as it looks in photos & feels secluded - the walk-in/lounge pool stairs rule. There's a grill! plenty of beach chairs & places to lounge. Definitely bring your own beach towels. Our favorite thing was the porch, it's a great place to post up & read on a rain day - coffee in the am - quiet, shady street with beautiful trees & super friendly neighbors balanced with quiet privacy. The host was easy to reach, communicative & helpful, but also didn't "bother" us during our stay. I think they'd just sprayed for bugs so there was a chemical smell in the house - probably not something that'll always be the case, but you may want to plan in case it's a regular thing, we aired it out the best we could(maybe bring incense or a scented candle?). It's an older renovated house & floors have "settled". There are cameras around the property- always makes me uneasy, but that seems to be the deal with all rentals recently. No real complaints, mostly just "so-you-know" notes. Recommended place!

Wonderful stay at an amazing property!

Myself, my wife, our 10-year-old son, and our two dogs enjoyed this property in mid-June 2023. It is a very quiet and cozy space. The pool was wonderful! Very clean and lots of fun toys to play with. My son loved it a TON, especially because the PC beach can be problematic with currents (three of the days we stayed were double-flag and closed to the public, and the days they weren't they were still quiet intense, so he didn't stay in the ocean too long). The location is INCREDIBLE and well worth the price. It is close to all sorts of conveniences and a VERY short trip away from the main Panama City experience. Honestly, staying at this property was like staying somewhere others hadn't discovered yet. I couldn't believe how killer it was. Brennan was a very, very communicative host who responded near-instantly to any messages I sent to him. The house itself is furnished well. It was clean when we stayed and had lots of small touches that made the stay exemplary. The outside shower was particularly great. I emphatically encourage anyone with a family to stay here. It was an awesome experience. We already are talking about when we can come back!

Wonderful Time!

Great home and pool. It was very clean and well decorated. Property manager was very nice and accommodating! Very well located, walking distance from a well stocked grocery store and just a few minutes away from anything you would need. Perfect place for a small family and the pool is nice and private. Would definitely stay there again!

We love the Laguna Beach area, and this house was perfect for our family of 4 for a week of spring break. Very close to the beach and the Carousel grocery store. Very clean property. And the heated pool allowed swimming early and late !

Laguna beach holiday for two

We enjoyed our 13 days at our home away from home. The pool is an absolute gem, and is our favorite part of the property. For anyone wondering...should we heat the pool? Our suggestion is yes. We chose not to, and are still happy with our decision, but the first week was warm weather so the pool temp was wonderful. Second week, temps dropped so we still enjoyed the pool but it was chilly. The master bedroom was comfortable and the direct access to the pool was excellent for quiet morning coffee poolside. We enjoyed the outdoor shower! The kitchen has everything needed to enjoy home dinners. Location~ we feel it’s the best around. It has everything needed within an easy walk or drive. ( groceries from carousel…a quick breakfast or donut from Thomas’s) The beach is pretty and we enjoyed, swimming and sunsets, and sunrises. We did not rent a golf cart, but it could be very practical. We loved the calmness and tranquility of the area. (Venturing out to other areas is easy also). Our host Brennan, made us feel right at home, and answered the couple questions we had immediately. We would stay here again.

Fall fun in the sun

Our "new house," as our 6yo has dubbed it, proved to be perfect for our fall getaway. This house literally has everything that you could need. The kitchen is FULLY stocked. We cooked a lot of our meals and didn't need one thing that wasn't there (even spices in the pantry!). There is a nice grocery store that is a block and a half away. The beds are comfortable. There are beach chairs, sand toys and a beach wagon for use. The pool is amazing (gas heated pool was SUPER nice when there was a random 20 degree temp drop). There are plenty of towels and starter toiletries. Brennan was excellent to work with. He graciously answered my numerous questions. The beaches in this area are amazing. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this rental and will hopefully be back next year!

Cute pet friendly home in great area

We rented this property after our original booking was cancelled due to Hurricane Ian. We were bummed to completely change sides of the state and having not stayed in Panama City for many years we weren't sure of the location. We were pleasantly surprised what a great low key area this was away from high traffic. Easy walk to the beach with two younger kids, beach wagon provided along with chairs. Beds slept great as well. Pool is nice; was a little cool due to a cold snap, so we opted to have it heated. Would definitely recommend this home and this small beach town feel!
