Pathetic

The only good thing I can say about this unit is that the view was amazing. The condo was spacious but other than that the place was disgusting. Our sheets were soured and smelled awful. The entire condo smelled and it was 80 degrees in there when we came in. The so call couch they have in there is actually a love seat and it is so worn out I wouldn’t give it away to anyone for free. It’s also filthy. There is no other seating and no where for anyone to stretch out and relax unless you lay on the nasty, stained carpet. There are minimal amenities provided. There are plenty of towels for everyone but very few dishes and very little soap. I have stayed in much nicer places for a lot less than what I had to pay to stay in this unit. The Tidewater resort is very nice itself, but this unit is horrible. We will not rent this unit again and not certain that we’ll come back to Tidewater if all the units are like this. I’m completely disgusted and so frustrated that o spent so much money for this unit and it’s awful.

This place was excellent. It is ocean front and very safe. The staff was very friendly and excited to help or answer any question you have. I plan on booking it next year and stay even longer.

Great overall

Great stay overall, other than the elevators are so so slow. It takes about 30-60 minutes to get an elevator. We took the stairs a lot of times which was not fun since we were in the 12th floor. Property was clean and a great atmosphere. If you don’t mind waiting for the elevators it’s perfect!

Great place to get away

What a great location!! Loved the chairs and umbrellas right on the beach. We read reviews about the slow elevators but did not experience this. The condo was clean and spacious. Other than a musty odor, probably the carpet, it was very nice. The clock in the kitchen needed a battery and it would have been nice to have coffee filers. We will definitely visit the area again.

Spring Break 2021

The condo had a pest problem! We had roaches the entires stay! Sofa pull out mattress also had blood stains on it! Talked to reps at front desk sent man to spray first day but only got worse! Called the next morning to inform of more roaches and they said they would send someone to spray the condo after we left! No offer to get additional spray or anything! No type of partial refund for dealing with roaches during our stay! Was not happy with this! Had stayed at Tidewater once before but will not come back! Very disappointed!

Great view Needs Updating

The pictures from the listing showed a lounge chair on the patio which was not there when we arrived. So we were pretty disappointed about that. There were bugs in the fridge and kitchen and the bathroom. The room was relatively clean but definitely needs updating. The beds were very uncomfortable. The view is amazing but the elevators are ridiculously slow. We probably will not be back or recommend this unit.

Dreamy!

The booking/check-in/check-out process was super quick and easy. All the staff members we encountered were kind and courteous. The room was cute, cozy, and convenient. We were within walking distance of Pier Park, as well as plenty of great restaurants. The view from the balcony is indescribable. We loved watching the sunset and listening to the waves crash against the shore. Nothing obstructs the view of the ocean from the balcony. Beach access is just an elevator trip and a few steps away. This will be my go-to spot for all future PCB trips.

COVID escape😊

The place was as described. Easy check in. Our AC froze up and they fixed it within an hour. It was hard to talk to an actual person through vacasa but once we got here we could ask questions at the desk.

Many things great, some things poor

First of all, the beach and views are incredible. The WiFi is the absolute worst, that alone would make me stay elsewhere. I brought work with me that I needed internet connection to ne able to complete. It was so slow I kept getting kicked offline... In this day and age, how can that not be a top priority. Second, the wrist band and security is flat out unacceptable. Security checked our bands in the hot tube, the bad thing was, 2 60ish adults that were 4 month residents said they get looked at everyday by the same people working security, and they act like they have never seen them before... I witnessed this myself... Checking adults but not the 20+ kids running around in the gym or steam room.. But I had a friend pull up to take me to dinner and security made them leave... You ever heard of priorities? We won't be back.

Beach was great, the hotel was horrible

Called the first day about the door frame looked like someone was trying to pry it open. The security chain was broken and barely hanging in the door frame. When I updated management was told my security was very important. Well they never fixed it. The elevators take forever to reach you and when they did they were packed. If your on lower floors take the stairs. We stayed on the eleventh floor and was faster to take stairs. Would not recommend this hotel to any friends or family. Stay away!

Unfortunately the sofa bed was not sleepable due to busted springs and worn out mattress but the rep from vacasa brought us an air mattress then had the sofa repaired the next day. I was not impressed with Tidewater with slow elevators and long lines to get chairs

Wonderful Stay

The pictures well represented the condo. Great view of the Gulf of Mexico and beach activities from the balcony. It greeted our morning and sunset. The space was easy and relaxing. Evrything in the condo worked. We stayed a week and it was very comfortable for a couple, but i think it would have worked if we’d brought young grandchildren, just far less private for kids. We found it quiet, but I’m guessing that’s generally true in February. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. The location is near tourist and brand name shopping and there’s a nearby movie theatre. The nearby restaurants are heavy on deep fried items and typical beach fare—not terribly imaginative. But we found some great restaurants in surrounding towns.

Florida Fun

My family and I had a great time at the Tidewater Beach Resort Unit 1204. It was very clean and had a wonderful view! It was very close to shopping, dining, and other fun family things.
