Panama City Vacation

We had a great time. The owner was very helpful with the checkin process and providing information on our stay, as well as answering any questions we had. The room and property were both very nice and we look forward to returning again in the future.

Great location! Great condo with perfect ocean/beach/pool views!

We had a great stay at this condo! The location was perfect so many fun things to do with the kids just a short walk away. The property owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The listing was exactly as described, and everything met our expectations. We truly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to our next !

Awesome!!!

The property was very nice and clean. The pool was our favorite with plenty of room to play and soak up the sun. Nice view and the hostess, Pari was so helpful suggesting places to eat and visit. She even checked on us to be sure everything was going ok! This was an all around great experience. Highly recommend this property and hostess.

Great family place

The room itself was nice and spacious. The chair and umbrella service was nice. The floors turn your feet black and are very slippery. Our 22 month old fell multiple times a day just slipping on dry floor. If your brining littles I’d suggest grippy socks for while inside. The pool is nice and big we never felt like we couldn’t go. Elevators are terrible. We waited 40 minutes one day to try and get on. Parking garage is also a nightmare. Overall would stay again just accommodate the slippery floor with indoor shoes for adults and grip socks for small kids!

Great for the family

We really enjoyed the condo, the pool, and the easy access to the beach! This was our first time at Panama City Beach and we were so impressed with the beautiful crystal clear water! It was senior week so we were surrounded by a lot of partying teenagers so probably won't come back during this week again. Lol Otherwise the host was very gracious and maintained good communication. We really enjoyed our five days here!

Beautiful

We were highly satisfied with our room at the Shores of Panama! The room was spacious and accommodates a wheelchair throughout the room! The owner of this unit has done a great job with keeping the unit updated! The view from this 5th floor condo was perfect view of the entire pool area and the Gulf which is fantastic for parents with teens! We loved the fact that within walking distance is a Walmart pineapple Willy's and other shops!

Great Vacation

We picked this condo because we were traveling with adults, teens and a 1 year old and didn’t want anyone to have to sleep in the living room. The 3 sleeping spaces (including the closed space with the bunk beds) worked out perfect for our family. The reserved parking spot is literally the 2nd spot from the entrance on the 5th floor — very convenient for loading and unloading. And the other thing we loved was the location, high enough to enjoy the ocean views and low enough to take the stairs if the elevator were busy! We will definitely stay here again! And the owner did an amazing job of communicating with us with all of the details of checking in, etc.

Perfect for families!

Just enjoyed a beautiful weekend in the beach for my son’s 4th birthday celebration. There were 3 adults and 3 children and there was enough space for us all. This unit in particular came with assigned parking RIGHT by the door of the parking garage and also came with two beach chairs. This is *important* because parking is additional if not included with the unit. Also the chairs are 50 a piece, but with the unit they were free. The outdoor pool was so large and spacious enough for the whole resort. We stayed at the beach for a full day and the pool another full day. We will definitely be back for another stay. The only thing I will say is to remember to bring seasonings! The unit did not have that but had every thing else needed to cook for the family. 100% would recommend!

This condo needs to be remodeled and updated. The unit was not cleaned when we arrived. The floors were dirty and sandy. The master bedroom had pop tart wrappers on the floor behind the side table. The couch needs to be thrown away it was filthy. The garbage in the 2nd bedroom bathroom was not empty. The restort itself is beautiful!

Room/Resort very disappointing

Floors very dirty. We had to sweep and mop first thing. Living room tv remote was broke and missing a battery. Couldn’t get none of the 3 TVs cable box to come even after following instructions. The registration process is horrendous. After drying 11 hours then took an hour to go through registration. Parking for the second vehicle was absolutely maddening. I never moved the second car because you’re liable to not find a parking spot when you come back. The resort is run down and dirty. Very cringy. Plan on waiting awhile for the elevator. Had to resort to taking the stairs on several occasions. The only Pro is the beach view and the pool.

Great experience!

This was our first time to PCB and we took a girls trip with my 70 year old Mom, 19 daughter and her roommate, and a good friend of mine. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were nice and comfortable. It was also nice having 3 bathrooms. Our favorite part was sitting on the balcony in the mornings having our coffee. The property felt very safe as there is security at every entrance. You're not getting in if you're not staying there! Pari, the owner of this unit, was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. She was awesome to work with! The beach area is pristine with amazing views and the pool at the condo is wonderful. I highly recommend this rental.

Borderline unacceptable.

The resort is fantastic. The grounds are very well taken care of. Pool is awesome and great access to the beach. The condo needs help. Everything in it was really old. End tables, nightstands, coffee table were all pretty much junk. Curtains had some stains and were falling off of several hooks. Couches and chairs are very broken down. The floor was absolutely filthy. Go without your shoes for 5 minutes and your feet were black. I would stay at this resort again, but not this condo, at least not without some serious tlc. I will say the owner did communicate very well. No issues there at all.

Outdated furniture and need deep cleaning!!

Pros: - The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach. - Close to many great restaurants, making dining out convenient and enjoyable. Cons: - The first impression was disappointing due to a bad smell upon entering. - The cleanliness was severely lacking. We had to wash all the dishes and clean the floors ourselves. - The floor was so dirty that our feet turned black from walking around. - The couch was filthy, requiring us to cover it with a blanket before sitting on it. And not cleaned under beds. - The elevators are extremely slow, especially during busy times. Overall, while the location is excellent, the cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly impacted our stay.

DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT!!!!!

PHOTOS VERY DECEIVING!!!! When we arrived to this unit it had not been cleaned but had not been rented either for several days per the owner. After the cleaning crew came in it was still very bad, so bad we rented another unit for our stay. The walls had something smeared all over them in several rooms, the aircondition vent had dust/dirt hanging out of it, carpet was very wornout and looked nasty, sofa looked clean in the pictures but was soiled in spots and curtains looked like they had never been washed or dusted. My daughter has asthma and there is no way she could have stayed in this unit. After talking to the manager of the resort, I found out that he knew very well about this unit and told me it had been turned over to the home owners association because of complaints prior to ours. The resort is very nice and they worked with us on getting another unit. Overall this trip was ruined because of this and now I'm filing a civil suit to get our money back.

Needs a facelift and better cleaning crew

Owner was very prompt on communication. Upon arrival someone was parked in the reserved spot, she gave quick response and solution. 3 days in, the ac went out. She had someone out and it was fixed within an hour. The unit could definitely use a face lift. The baseboards definitely need new paint as do the doors. It made the overall appearance seem dirty inside. The living room chair is completely worn out and probably needs to see the dumpster at this point. The beds were comfy, big plus! I was disappointed that there was only one bar stool for the counter island. Cooking meals was a hassle due to limited amount of pots/pans but we made it work. I would highly recommend a new cleaning crew. The master ceiling fan looked as though it hasn’t been dusted in months. The floors were covered in sand and hair. Sweeping was the first thing I done upon arrival. I wish there had been a mop and an iron, but there wasn’t either in the unit. The beach items left to use was a nice gesture. We also left behind a wagon with beach toys for future kids to enjoy as well. Overall the stay was nice, owner was good, but if you’ve stayed at shores, then you know how that goes. Elevators still suck!
