Wouldn't stay in this room again
The resort was nice, and I would stay at the resort again, but definitely not this unit The resort location is great, only downfall is the public access to the beach makes the beach VERY crowded at times.
Our experience with the unit we stayed in:
1. The check-in process was easy with just texting/emailing us everything we needed, but the room wasn't ready for check in at 4pm like it was supposed to be.
2. There was five of us (two adults and three children) and there wasn't 1 night out of 8 that we all got hot showers. More nights than not several of us took cold showers.
3. Our room was HOT. We would turn down the thermostat and it would reset itself to 75 without us knowing or when we left the room. Towards the end of our stay, it would reset itself to 78. We stayed in the unit in June, so it was 90-100 degrees outside. We would return to our room, and you would sweat just sitting on the couch and watching TV. Called for help and someone came and couldn't figure it out and said a technician would need to come look at it, but no one ever did.
4. There wasn't a broom in the unit to sweep up the sand/dirt that would come in with you. I like to clean up after us, but that wasn't possible.
With being hot in the unit, cold showers, and having to continue to reach out about the unit being hot it wasn't a relaxing vacation like I would have hoped. I wanted to be able to go on vacation and not have to deal with those types of things and just enjoy our time.
