High and noisy

Clean place. Just too high and the wind rushing in the front door threshold was a pain. Had to keep pillows by the door to keep it less wind blowing in. You need to fix the weather striping under the door. Nice place and also the shower door wouldn’t close all the way so always had to dry water after showers

Vacation

Had no issues with cleanliness. Front door would not open all the way. Dragging the floor and only open half way. Mattress in bedroom was not comfortable at all. Couch was in bad shape and was very uncomfortable to sit on and sleep in. Could not adjust temperature in the fridge. Items on upper shelves would freeze and no ice maker. ( did have ice trays ). We were not pleased with the room for the amount of money we were charged. I will continue to stay at the Calypso in the future just not in this room

Parking passes

This unit sleeps 6 people but it is likely that that will require 2 cars and you only get 1 parking pass. The over flow is about 15 spots that say for over sized vehicles. There is a gravel/sand pit parking behind the parking garage where I had to park and you had to jump a curb to get in it. I drug the bottom of my van. Thankfully I didn't tear anything up on my van.

For the price it was great. Wished there were board games on site and more beach equipment. The toilet was stopped up a lot and the shower had water run off but other than that. Nice place.

This rental property was close to pier park and our unit was clean and supplied with everything you would need for your stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would give it a 10 out of 10 and would stay again!!! Had a wonderful vacation!!! Thanks

The view is spectacular! The condo is nice but appliances and furniture need to be updated...the ice maker was broken...we were given ice trays as a solution...we bought ice and put that in the icemaker...overall it was a fabulous trip...love Calypso!!!

Old & uncomfortable

The bed set was so out dated my great granny had it. Everything was so dusty. The curtains in the bedroom was mix match looked like the come from the goodwill. The living room set was so old you can feel the spring in it the kitchen sink handle is about to fall off. The tub on the outside looks like it maybe mold Im not for sure. The host really needs to upgrade the furniture and remodeled and if the host is paying a company to clean find another company oh and the toilet brush how about the shower curtain was stuck down in the toilet brush holder. The only thing I liked about this condo it was in the perfect spot

At The Calypso you expect to relax and enjoy your stay!

1 toilet flushed, 1 didn’t, shower was rinsed out not clean left with previous hair as well on bathroom floors, very poor water pressure, furniture very uncomfortable, dusting visible on the front of furniture only with dust on backsides. Unit 2-1907 very ran down and not the experience of The Calypso I’m used to. Parking garage code works when it wants to thank goodness for the attendants that had to let us out a few times but absolutely don’t enjoy their job, nothing close to being nice! You pay a cleaning fee for a reason and you should never have to go get your own cleaning supplies to feel comfortable! Pay them more and maybe they will actually clean it is all I could think as well inspect it before you let someone walk into to this! Not a review I’ve ever had to leave but others deserve to know! I love The Calypso but this was not A normal Calypso experience.
