There’s construction and there’s noice since 7:30 am and keep going the rest of the day. Hotel prohibited to guests make noice before 10 am (but they do) or you pay a $1,000 fine. So we couldn’t rest as peacefully as we wanted and needed. I’m pregnant and I was wondering to have a peaceful baby moon, but that doesn’t happen. Everything in the unit (room) was as expected and listed on line, but I had to pay a non refundable fee for the hotel and parking access, and pay rent for the chairs and the umbrella at the beach. All those bills were not at my budget.

Great vacation

Really had a great time here—one of our favorite family trips. Unit is exactly as described. Do be aware that this is a big resort and wait times for elevators during peak times can be tough, but this is a tradeoff for shopping, restaurants, and groceries within easy walking distance. You’ll spend time waiting on an elevator instead of slugging down the Strip, which I consider a fair trade. Pool is fantastic—we barely left the resort in five days

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The view was fantastic. The amenities were perfect. However, we were told it was free parking. It was not. We had to pay 85 dollars for parking and pool passes

We had such a great time and experience as never before. The owners take pride in their property and did all they could to ensure we had a great time. During our stay we got all possible advices and help from Amelia; Even after our scheduled stay, she took care about our problem: we got a health issue and she let us stay late till that issue was resolved.God bless your heart Amelia!! Happy Holiday Season to all members of Zia Vacation Rentals. Certainly, will be back soon!!!

Great place for a family vacation

We enjoyed our trip! We celebrated our granddaughter 5 th birthday and her first time at the beach. The property is nice. Was upset because we couldn’t get two parking spots just one. That wasn’t listed online!!! Do your research!!! Could have been cleaner my opinion!! OCD person.overall not bad.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time staying at Panama Shores condo and would definitely stay there again ! The unit was clean , comfortable with a great view of the ocean and pool area . The Tiki bar and snack bar at the pool was a great amenity, the bartenders were great and the drinks were all awesome ! Only downside is the checkout at 10 am and no where to leave bags securely for a short time after check out. Our flight was not til 4 pm so it was very difficult with the baggage .

Continual Harrasment at the Pool / Hot Tub

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All guests have never been harassed as much as at this property. Everyone was continually complaining to the pool security from the moment the pool opened until it closed. Even if you followed the posted rules, the security would make up rules that weren't on the posted signs. One night, they tried shutting down the hot tub early and not because we were all following the rules but because we were pointing out that they were trying to enforce rules that were against the posted rules at the hot tub. I do not recommend this property until they change security companies. Totally riduculous.

HORRIBLE

The condo was dirty, all the dishes were dirty, the dryer was broken which I reported in the first day and no one ever fixed it. We only had 3 towels for 6 guest, no one could help me get more they said to go buy some at the store. When there is any issue no one would help, I kept getting sent to the answering service and they could offer no help. The condo is out of date, the microwave is taped together. The building is huge so that means a lot of people there and only two working elevators The staff was not friendly and the parking garage is confusing as to where to park , I only learned bc another person staying helped. They will tow your car if you are not parked in a yellow spot but they do not tell you that ! The pool is very nice and the location is great !

Not Happy

Place was clean . Pool is nice . Was charged additional for parking/ pool access . Then additional per day if you want chairs on the beach . Beach and pool close at 10pm . Several hundred condos here and security claims they watch with binoculars to see who is loud on balconies. Maintenance let themselves into my condo on 3 day of my visit . This was not not scheduled by me and I was was not made aware . They left Sheetrock debris and empty bathroom fan box on floor . I was not left any kind of letter stating anything. I called maintenance # I was provided and was promised a return call , 4 days later I have not . My privacy and personal safety felt threatened after this . No additional inside locks are available while inside the room .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at the Shores of Panama numerous times. We know what to expect from these condos. This one was in a superb location, but the interior of the condo was in great disrepair and sadly needed a lot of attention. The dryer belt was broken so the dryer never worked. Very difficult to deal with at the beach with a lot of humidity and everything wet. The rubber lining of the fridge was falling off, the bathroom doors were peeling, the couch is incredible old, the pull out mattress is stained and hard, the stickers on the wall for decoration are peeling, the pots and pans are rusted and gross. It was rough and sad. It wouldn't take much to revive this incredible unit that has the best views and easy access to the back elevator. I highly recommend the owner make these changes and show new photos.

Poor quality; not clean

I don’t like that the host only communicates through ziavacationrentals email address rather than VRBO. This should not be allowed unless they are trying to keep certain communications from VRBO. Roaches are present. Dryer doesn’t work but was reported more than 3 months ago per other reviews; host responded quickly on it but acted as though this was new info and said it couldn’t be fixed because the part had to be ordered. Makes me wonder how long it has actually been broken. Staff at resort are not friendly; checkin process was terrible and we seemed to be interrupting the lady’s tv show as she did not answer any questions; just handed us our things and continued watching her iPad. The floors were disgusting on arrival and made our feet black. The kitchen counters still had sticky residue (possibly syrup) from the previous renters. I believe in decorating on a budget if you have to, but for what this room charges, paper stickers all over the walls is a bit much. They used stickers to cover holes in the walls rather than making proper repairs. The pool was fantastic, when it was open. Overall, the location is great, pool was good, parking and everything else was terrible. Absolutely would not recommend this place based on this condo.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very dissatisfied with my experience. Booked with that stated free parking but failed to mention Benchmark requirements of $90 for the wrist bands, parking lot, and access to pool area ( and finally the staff charged us $85). No staff at check in counter but contacted only by phone (or email) which just leave the message. My room would not lock and took someone the next day to contact me after I finally sent my email from the first day. No visit was made, just someone talking, saying try this or try that ( you must listen carefully after you turn the lock door knob again and again until you hear the very low low noice... wissshh. We were able to finally lock from inside the room but could not secure the lock from outside and that was unacceptable. We had to carry our important belongings at all times while being outside the room. A map of the parking lot building with room assignments would be nice but eventually parked in yellow displayed slots after calling back to the staff who provided us the wristbands for help. Left side of the building is a restaurant which seems ok but bunch of motorcycles and its noisy could make you unable to rest well. The pools are great with staff’s taking care of very well. If they can solve problems of the lock door and parking lot advised everything will be better.
