  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Loved edgewater

We loved the location and amenities. We had issues with the back door and the dehumidifier leaking which caused lots of extra loads of laundry. We had to wash towels to keep the leak cleaned up for a couple of days. Beautiful condo but does need some updating. Concerns were addressed quickly.

Fall Break 2023

Location, Views, and Pools Cannot Compensate for Neglect and Restrictions

This vacation apartment boasted a fantastic location, breathtaking views, and exceptional pools, however, the array of issues we encountered left us more stressed than relaxed. Warning signs were everywhere, imposing numerous restrictions and creating a constant sense of unease. One such warning sign related to the air conditioning system instructed us not to set the thermostat below 72 degrees, lest we wanted the AC to freeze and incur a service fee. Afraid of breaking this rule, we complied, resulting in uncomfortably warm nights that compromised the quality of our sleep. The refrigerator was another cause for concern. A sign advised us to allow 48 hours for food and drinks to chill. After an entire three days, our food was still not cool, and popsicles remained disappointingly liquid. Various components of the apartment were in dire need of repair. Two nightstand lamps were practically falling apart, the dryer emitted disturbingly loud noises, and the shower’s water pressure was low. Instead of addressing these issues, it seemed the owner had shifted the responsibility onto the guests, burdening us with the upkeep and potential repair costs. The $45 "accident fee" and the $5 charge for each lost community access wristband seemed to compound this responsibility shift, with these costs feeling more punitive than protective. Check-in was another inconvenience. The 5 p.m. time felt excessive and meant losing out on a substantial part of our vacation

Vacation Oasis

Loved our first time stay at Edgewater. So many amenities you never have to leave the resort. Our condo was amazing with a beautiful ocean view. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Stayed in this condo for a convention we were attending. The three of us were very happy with this property and all its amenities especially the view of the emerald waters the Gulf has to offer. Many in our group complained about their room accommodations but we were happy with everything this room had to offer! Would definitely rent this room once again in future trips to the PCB area!

Good stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo is just as advertised. The benefit of this location is that the condo does not get direct sunlight at sunset so you can sit on the balcony and enjoy some shade.

Softball Stay

We stayed for a week long softball tournament and couldn't have asked for a nicer condo. The property had everything we needed and the proximity to the beach was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Location

We were there for my sons baseball World Series. Location was very convenient and condo and the Edgewater complex were perfect. Condo was a little stuffy but some extra isolating fans in each room helped with that.

Stayed for a wedding in April

Overall it was a nice place to stay and we loved the resort itself. But the room could really use a good deep clean, we ended up buying cleaning supplies the first night and having to scrub surfaces before we wanted to use them. For example, the master shower had a huge wade of hair in the drain as soon as we checked in like it hadn’t been cleaned prior. There is no broom in the unit only a vacuum so it made it difficult to get everything cleaned in certain areas. The first night we were there we tried to use the pull out couch and were unable to. It got suck and would not pull but halfway out and would not go back in place either. We called first thing the next morning and they sent someone over asap to look at it but we were unable to use it for the remainder of the trip. I liked that they were so responsive about the issue and took care of it the best they could while we were there. Would possibly stay here again if it was just cleaned properly before check in.

Amazing 1st trip to Panama Beach

What a view!

Beautiful resort. Great view from the 8th floor. Beds were comfortable, the condo was very clean and was wonderful. My Granddaughters 1st trip to the beach. She did not want to go back to St Louis!

Alpaca Condo at Edgewater

The Edgewater was a fun place to stay . Our condo met our expectations and we would stay there again. Please check the shower in the master as the water pressure is very low .

Great Condo!

This was our third condo we’ve tried at Edgewater. This one was our favorite yet! I will say that the dryer was out the whole time we were there. This wasn’t anyone’s fault. A newer motor had to be ordered. We loved the views and the layout. We didn’t want to leave.

Alpaca My Bags Good as Advertised

This unit in Edgewater is an excellent value. it is well appointed and located in an upscale resort. Pools and hot tubs are well maintained. Residents are friendly. on site restaurant / bar is an added bonus. We have stayed in other Edgewater units. Frankly they were tired compared to Aplaca, which has been recently updated. Edgewater has also made significant improvements.
