The view was the best! The room was clean. Communication wirh the host was great. Check in process was a breeze. The beds could use an upgrade. Not comfortable at all and did mess up my sciatica. Would be nice if the outdoor pool was heated for those that like to come in the fall and winter. Construction going on but was not to bad. Thunder beach was also going on while i was there. Very noisy on the streets and in the parking garage. Will try to choose a different week next time.

Too chaotic

The building is large and confusing. It was a maze trying to find our room. The parking deck has 2 entrances and we went in the wrong one to begin with and had to back out into a busy street to get to the right one. The room itself was fine, but bathrooms could use updating. The furniture was fine, but pretty basic. The 3rd bedroom was a bunk room and not big enough for any luggage or bags. The beach was very congested. I’m sure if you were early 20’s you would like the chaos more. I wasn’t a fan of the location and how difficult it was to navigate the parking deck.

Room stunk like cat urine; parking horrific; leak

We opened the door and was hit in the face with what smelled like cat urine. The kitchen area was the worst. Mgmt offered to deodorize it but we have 2 small children so we were afraid to do that. The dishwasher leaked water and the first bath shower trim fell the first time we showered. We went to the beach the first day and came back and the code they sent via email check in instructions did not work so we had to contact mgmt and they ended up resetting the code. We were also told we had 2 parking spaces, one of which was designed with the room number and an additional space which we had to pay $100.00 for. There wasn’t any additional spaces so the extra vehicle had to be parked about 3 miles down the road and we were charged $12.00 per day. We have stayed at shores for about 12 years and we will never stay here again!

Nice but not fully relaxed

I rented the place for my family and I to get away and relax, before we welcome a new baby in June. When I first arrived I was hit with $100 charge for pool and access bracelets along with a parking pass. I don't recall seeing this beforehand. After checking in, we headed up to the room and I was thrilled about the corner unit. The place definitely was smaller than the pictures though. We all arrived at different times, so before my 2 yr grandson came, I spent time taking pics of where low laying decorations were and then placing the items in a closet so he was unable to reach them. I was very nervous about getting charged for things that were already broken or not that great to begin with. One small mishap and I could have a charge against my bill. There were times I felt I was walking on eggshells and that is not enjoyable. The running joke was...don't do that...its a felony. Overall my family and I enjoyed our time, and maybe me being the mom, I was always making sure nothing got ruined, and making sure nobody brought sand in the place, that I was more on edge because I was the one that would be paying for it all. Dishwasher needed to be pushed hard to shut, because it would run even when it wasn't shut all the way.

Condo was exactly as described. Perfect for our family. The resort did not have their indoor pool/hot tub working, but that was no fault of the owner. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great place

Loved the condo and location. Very clean condo. Beautiful ocean views. The hot tubs in & outside were not working and the indoor pool was shut down due to maintenance. That was disappointing since this was the off season and we were looking forward to using them. Would definitely return.

All bed sheets had yellow stains on them. The flor was super dirty. The place was filthy all. around. And they will charge you $100’s for everything. The whole building is old and run down.
