Overall we had a pretty good time. We were here for my daughter’s 5th birthday and I was hoping to make it a more positive experience. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness. Most of the furniture was dusty, my kids’ feet were black from the floor, the appliances had visible rusting, and you can tell the furniture has been well used. A little bit of detailed cleaning and some touch ups of baseboards, washed curtains, etc. would go a long way.
We also had an issue with getting the living room tv to work. When we called the company, the lady said she didn’t know how to help us and would send someone out, but no one ever came. We ended up just using the tv in the bedroom. The internet was also very spotty.
The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The view is amazing. It is an open walkway to get to the front door on the 19th floor, so if you are afraid of heights, you might want to know that before hand.
We had a little more issues with the Shores of Panama property. The parking garage is pretty much a nightmare to get in and out of. Everyone we met complained about the elevators and most of the time it was an awful long wait. The pool and beach are crowded (seats at the pool are saved all day with towels even though you are asked not to). And the yelling and music playing from several balconies all night is pretty annoying when you just want to relax, listen to the waves, and enjoy the view. Thank goodness the sliding glass door is very sound proof! The location is excellent though.
If you have high expectations on cleanliness, are looking for a family friendly and quieter vacation experience, you may want to look elsewhere.
