Shores of Panama

We loved the condo due to the layout and view from the balcony. However, although the condo was clean, the pictures don't portray how old and worn some of the furniture and decor is. There were a few decorative pieces that were torn or broken - just some minor repairs would do. Also, the thin skillet needs to go. The stove seems to run really hot, especially with that particular skillet. The smoke alarm went off while we were just cooking something on low. The master bed was very comfortable. Again, the balcony view was amazing.

The overhead light was out the entire stay and they didn't fix it so the bedroom was pitch black. Gum stuck to the bunk beds. The two tvs in the bunk beds don't work. The dishes were dirty. Had old food stuck to them. Sent pictures and gave them the opportunity to come make things right but they didn't. The management of the property do a very poor job at addressing concerns. The view is great. Would be a good stay if the managers had been helpful.

The location and facilities were as expected...convenient, and very pleasant. Views of the Gulf awesome!!! We enjoyed the deck especially at sundown. Construction noise was minimal and as expected. Appreciated the heads-up.

Check in process was easy! Everything was great. The parking garage is a little congested but you do get designated parking on the floor where you are staying, so that is a plus.

Great Vacation! Great Place! Great Resort!

We have a wonderful experience at the condo. We love the wrap around balcony and beach front view is just breath taking. We enjoyed the car park on the same floor with easy access. All the appliance are pretty new and all works well. No issue with the AC unit which always a plus when you on vacation. We enjoyed our stay at the Shore of Panama.

Such a beautiful condo!

We can’t recommend this property rental enough! We just checked out and we loved our stay here so much! The condo was super clean and beautifully furnished. We really loved the resort feel of the Shores. We really loved parking on the 10th floor and walking to our condo without needing the elevators. The parking lot isn’t the best but it’s manageable. We only had to take the stairs a couple of times when the elevators were really backed up but really didn’t have much trouble for the majority of the trip. The master bed is very high but the owners provided little boosts to help short people (like myself) hop up. In short, we loved our stay and hope to return soon!

Check in isn’t great and reserved parking was not inforced.

The check in crew knew nothing about the resort really. She could not take my reservation number or the info I had pulled up through the app. Spoke broken English and kept requesting to see the email that had the actual name of Shores of Panama on it. Slowed us down tremendously. I booked this particular unit bc of the location of the reserved parking spot. We only got to park in it twice. The second day we left someone grabbed the spot and didn’t move the rest of the time. This car didn’t even have a parking pass or the assigned number sheet on their dash the entire time so they obviously didn’t pay for parking. There are very limited yellow open spots and we often had to park on different levels altogether. I called about this every day multiple times a day and sent messages and no one ever made them move or had them towed. Very disappointing considering I paid for the spot.

Great stay!

Panama Shores is my favorite. This condo has an amazing view and the property Manger was very responsive. The only thing I would suggest is to lower the king size bed

The room was just okay. Could tell it had been run down a bit probably from past renters. Very disappointed with the property management. They treated us like prisoners. From the time we drove up to leaving, we felt like we were not wanted! We will not go back!

I was a little disappointed by not being allowed to park in the designated spot until our unit was available! The listing also failed to mention that I would have to pay an additional $100 for parking a bracelets which are required to enter the condo! This should have been listed on the listing, because usually parking and bracelets are included with your rentals! Also we were not aware that it was College Spring break and no Alcohol was allowed on the beach. We were celebrating my Bachlorette party and would not have stayed here if we knew that! Also there were no signs anywhere in the condo or on the beach that stated you could not have Alcohol on the beach. We are obviously not from here and had no idea it was College spring break. If you can not consume Alcohol on the beach from March 1-31, this should be listed on the site!! Also the poolside bar and security at the gate should have a sign or inform people that you can’t have Alcohol on the beach!! The condo itself was nice, it smelled like bleach, but there was sand all over the couches and the toilets were not clean! We also found roaches in the bathrooms and kitchen! The company managing this condo needs to do a better job of informing the renters of these things!!

WONDERFUL!

The ONLY recommendations I can make on this particular condo is to lower the bed a little I am 5’ 7” tall and I even had to hop to get up on the bed lol Also the ceiling fan in the bedroom makes all kinds of noise, to the point where we could not use it at night due to it keeping us awake. (We love a fan at night!) But there is absolutely no other disappointment in this condo. Absolutely beautiful and very very clean . We would highly recommend it and definitely will be renting it again in the future . The resort was awesome as well. No disappointments whatsoever!

Beautiful property…but…

The condo and views were beautiful here, and we (mostly) enjoyed our stay, except that the property management was horrible! We got in after a 12 hour day of travel, and our lights didn’t work. We were tired, so we waited until the next day to call. It took them four phone calls, and three visits to finally get our lights to work (all the bulbs were bad)…and it didn’t get fixed for three full days!! Then, they promised me some compensation for all the issues, and we have not gotten any credit or communication from them at all, and we have been home now for over a week! In addition, they post all over your unit about $1000 fines for shouting, playing loud music, etc and it’s all for show. I felt like we were in the middle of high school spring break or something the whole time we were there. Extremely loud people every night shouting “Let’s go, Brandon” and shining laser lights out their window. In addition to multiple arrests on the beach every night right under our window, which I know is not the fault of the resort, but it was frustrating that no one enforced the “after 10 pm quiet policies” at all! Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere!

The unit itself was very clean, had plenty of room, an amazing view, and everything needed for your stay. The property charges an extra $90 to get wristband access to use pool and use access way to beach. Be cautious of including that in your overall stay. Elevators can be busy. We used stairs to get to 10th floor most of tjme.

Nice Ocean View but Condo Needs TLC

Perfect view of ocean and pool area. Reserved parking space is very convenient although the parking structure is a nightmare to maneuver through. Condo is nice but is in need of some TLC. Fan in master bedroom is too noisy to use. None of the lights in the living area worked except a small lamp. TV’s in bedrooms did not work most of the time and the WiFi was intermittent. Facility looks a bit run down. Pool was nice but too cold to use. Overall okay but would not stay at The Shores again.
