I wasn't expecting this place to be this great. But it is better than my friend's $200 per night hotel. It was clean, easy, and comfortable. The coffee was great, too! The only con is that I can hear my neighbor cough and his TV, but other than that, it was amazing! Highly recommend.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights, while she attended an event at Stanford. The first 2 days/nights were fine. On the 3rd day, we realized we were out of coffee cups and low on toilet paper. Normally, you'd just run down to the front desk for these things. However, with no manned front desk, you have to submit these requests through the website and then wait 2 - 8 hours for what you're missing. That's inconvenient, but if you plan ahead, you should be fine. The deal breaker for us was the (lack of) sound insulation. For our 3rd night, a guest moved in next door to us. She talked on her phone from 9:00pm - 2:00am at (what we assume was) a normal speaking voice. However, we could hear every word. Every. Word. My teenage daughter got to hear our neighbor's sexually explicit conversation, which (apparently) became more graphic in the wee hours, after I fell asleep. My daughter didn't want to disturb my sleep, so she didn't pound on the wall and ask our neighbor to be quieter. That's on us. But, I will never stay here again because I don't want to be in that position. The walls are just too thin.

Close to Standard University
Location is good to attend ceremonies at Stanford University. The place is clean and nicely decorated. There is no attendant at site so we communicated via phone to ask questions about automatic draft for the incidentals deposit. The biggest drawback of this place was the bed. It was too hard for our likings. This is the second time staying at this address so the bed issue was related to the room 107.

Very clean and well looked after hotel with great mod cons. Stayed one night to get to the parkrun. Mattress was a bit stiff, and was noisy from the road despite our room being towards the back.

My family and i will not be staying here again. Horrible hotel rooms, hard to get into our room, they hold an overpriced $250 security deposit for no reason when other hotels only charge 50$, beds are small, showers are also very small overall horrible experience we do not recommend at all.

The check in process was HORRIBLE. I didn’t realize when booking you had to register online before getting to property since there is NO FRONT DESK. their system was down and wasn’t letting me check in. I called for help, they told me to just keep trying. It took at least 4 different times and several phone calls to help me. Very confusing instructions. I asked for parking during registration but when I got to the property and tried to check in via “virtual front desk” I was told there was no parking available…even though I was literally the only car in the parking lot. Instructions also told me to go to “front desk”. No point of that other than a walk to where the coffee and vending machine was located (they could have saved me the trip and just said that in instructions). Tv didn’t work so well. Worst of all: walls were PAPER THIN. I was awoken by neighbors at 10:30. The “virtual front desk” (my guess is it’s an AI answering the texts) said they got ahold of management and called out neighbors. However our neighbors did NOT quite down and just simply sent the rest of the management calls to voice mail. I could LITERALLT hear every single word of their conversation. It took me about an hour to go back to sleep. I will NEVER EVER stay here again.

Clean hotel but lack service, door difficult open
Can further improve by getting door fixed, can close properly without pushing hard. Check in process is cumbersome, no human assistance. Sent wrong email to me after checkout, turn out to be false alarm, assuming some device is lost but actually not. Usd 250 deposit is too high.

This is an older motel that was tastefully but cheaply remodeled and that is now fully self-service with no staff on site. What I liked: very clean, close to Stanford, affordable, everything you may need available in the room (Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, microwave, iron, cookies, coffee, water, tea, nice toiletries, white noise machine, and earplugs). What bothered me: virtually no sound insulation and no option for luggage storage. I don't remember ever staying at a hotel with this much background noise and ended up running the white noise machine on high volume continuously. Traffic, people walking by, and the loud fridge all made for not-so-great sleep. The curtains were also not exactly blackout and if you forgot to close the bathroom door the light from the window was also very bright in the morning. Overall, I am grateful for an affordable and clean hotel not too far from Stanford but will probably go with a quieter option next time.

This was shockingly great. I was expecting a motel that slapped a new coat of paint and called it good, but they actually did a great job renovating and making the room, shower, amenities great. Would stay again.

They have done a great job renovating the motel and modernizing it. They took the trouble to provide a white noise machine with optional programs but at 6:00am each day the trucks start to use the main road and might wake a light sleeper.
