The property is absolutely beautiful. We loved waking up to the water outside every morning. It was spacious and they had everything thing we need and more. Highly recommend! The place was conveniently located.

A wonderful stay

The home is gorgeous! It had every amenity possible. The sea life was so entertaining out back. The location was absolutely perfect. Close to shopping beaches and my family that lives in Florida year round. We would stay again for sure!

Perfect

Our family had a wonderful time, the house and pool were excellent. Nice quiet street. Kids fished in the canal behind the house, lots of ladyfish trout and catfish. Fun for the little ones. Short drive to the skyway fishing pier and Fort DeSoto State Park.

My family and I enjoyed staying in this home. It is definitely " A Home Away from Home ". Jim was attentive and responded to any questions we had. The house has plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for a family of 6. As well as beach toys for the little ones. Also, the house has plenty of towels ( home / beach ), pots, pans, plates utensils you name it. The house is also located in a nice neighborhood.

Great location and relaxing home

Nice property, home essentials provided, toys for grandson to play with, owner brought in a work desk for me to use and they were easily accessible by text or call. Easy drive to either Bradenton or St Petersburg and in a quiet neighborhood. 4 queen beds and a king size bed plus a pull out couch I believe. 4 bedrooms/3.5 baths.

Had great communication with owner, the home was very clean, very well stocked. Had everything we could need. Only 1 small problem, couldn’t get the heat/a/c to work properly. 1 bedroom to warm the other on to cool.

Annual sibling reunion

2 brothers, 1 sister and spouses All retired getting together for annual visit Home was large and comfortable Very clean, organized Had fully stocked kitchen with new appliances, linens and towels were luxurious, even beach towels were plush! Furniture and beds very comfortable Dock for fishing Caught and released loads of catfish ! Pool was clean and comfortable and had a separate bathroom with toilet and sink If there was anything I would have liked, it would have been a shower in the bathroom with the jacuzzi so each couple could have their own shower Owners Jim and Susan were very accommodating and generous with their time and recommendations

An Amazing Wedding

Our family headed to this property as a central point for our travels in the region. We got married on Treasure Island and it was perfect. For the review...First off.. I never write reviews because I prefer reading other people's words. However, because this place has everything you could possibly ever need..seriously she has every kitchen, toiletry, bathroom, amenity you could ever need in this house. In fact, when we buy a house in FL and rent it out we will follow exactly this model. The pictures don't really do this house justice. Its spacious, lots of room for a large family, screened in pool, and fit our family of 7 plus easily. The kids room was perfect, decked out in cool colors with tons of stuffed animals and games. The property is located on the canal, we fished daily (lots of catfish if you have your bait on the bottom), sink for cleaning the fish on the dock. We loved the Sarasota, Anna Maria Island area and would recommend beach visits to Coquina Beach. We saw stingrays, dolphins and manatees daily. The owner Susan sent us tons of things on the area, assisted with our wedding and when the fridge went kaput had it fixed that day. Don't hesitate booking this place. All the best, Dan & Jen

Very accomodating for our corporate stay

We rented this house for our crew that worked on a landscape installation project in Palmetto, Florida for two months. The guys enjoyed coming back after a grueling day to unwind in this beautiful, relaxing home. They enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, fishing on the canal, the pool and the spacious layout of the house. The owners were extremely accommodating, very pleasant and easy to work with on every detail of our stay. If we ever work in this area again, we will definitely try to stay here. We highly recommend this rental property for both a corporate or personal refuge.

This house is perfect for large families!!

I normally don't consider houses that are pet friendly because of allergies in our family. This house seemed so perfect, and after I spoke to Susan I decided to give it a try. She did extra vacuuming, and to my sons delight there were no allergy issues!! We loved the house and there was something for everyone. The house has everything you could possibly need! We used the fishing poles a lot. My kids favs were the canal and the pool. Susan was very gracious in answering my many questions and checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything. I highly recommend this house!

Home away from Home!

We have rented several vacation homes but none as comfortable as this one. This was such a relaxing place to be and we hated to leave. The property was immaculate - well maintained and beautifully landscaped. There were many wonderful personal touches including a little good-bye gift from the owner for myself and my two adult daughters. There were eight of us, my husband, myself, our three adult children and their significant others, and our aged poodle. We all were so comfortable. There were plenty of towels, seating, beds, bathrooms, and the pool. There were also bicycles, fishing equipment, and anything you would need at the beach. A fenced in yard that was also fenced from the dock which kept our little poodle away from the water but he could still watch the mullet jump in the water. It was also close to shopping and attractions. I would recommend this property to anyone needing to relax and a true break from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps. Would rent this place over and over again. Publix and Walmart are close by, also many great restaurants, and also the Premier Outlets, The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is a short drive away and beaches are close by. Truly a home away from home.

A Wonderful Family Gathering Place

The owner is so friendly and accommodating. She even left little surprises around the home for the children. It was hard to want to leave the house during the day because it was so relaxing and so easy to entertain everyone. A canoe, a kayak, bikes, a pool, toys for the kids, a tree house and a lot of nice rooms to read and socialize with the group. The location was great for visiting our family, but we also found it close to two of our favorite places to visit, DeSoto Beach and Emerson Point. We highly recommend families stay here. It is spacious, clean and very inviting.

Perfect family vacation spot

We have stayed in vacation homes from Hawaii to Bar Harbor to Sorrento, Italy and this was without a doubt the most welcoming home we have been in. The property was impeccable yet comfortable and inviting. The house was spacious and their was plenty of room for 5 adults, 3 kids and the dog. We came for a family Christmas vacation and Susan put up a tree for us to decorate and left little touches of Christmas all over the place. There were games for kids aged 1 to 101. The location was perfect on a cul de sac in a quiet family neighborhood situated right on one of the canals leading to the Bay. We all agreed this is a vacation home we would return to.

We stayed for two and a half weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The home was clean and was the 'best stocked' home we have ever rented. The location was ideal, with short drives to Anna Marie Island, Bradenton Beach, Longboat key as well as Sarasota, St. Pete, etc. The house can handle a large family. The owners were accommodating, very easy to deal with. Restaurants: River House & Kostas in Palmetto, The Waterfront on Anna Marie Isl. were great along with many others. We enjoyed the pool and lanai that had a lot of lounge chairs, pool toys, etc. A manatee was seen in the canal almost daily and you can fish off the dock. This home is on our recommended list.

Palmetto Vacation

WOW, this place is large! The lawn was beautifully maintained. There were sitting areas everywhere. There were 5 sofas arranged for entertaining in the living area. I loved the open floor plan. The game table was a source of entertainment for our older grandchildren. The kitchen was stocked with all of the bells and whistles for cooking for a crowd. Lots of table and chairs for dining. We celebrated with our daughter and her 3 small children from MS. Our son lives in Palmetto and their family of 6 joined us for meals. We never felt crowded and never were short of chairs etc. The family area overlooks the pool and the canal and dock. It was so relaxing, it felt like a vacation! The bedroom with 3 single beds was huge and so beautifully decorated with a large closet with lots of toys etc to entertain the 3 children. This room would also work well for 3 adults! The children all loved the outside tree house with swings and slide. The master bedroom was huge with a huge walk-in closet. We were able to store all of our luggage out of our way with lots of storage room left! The pool was wonderful with more setting than we needed, nice table and chairs and a bathroom right there! We had fun fishing off of the dock with poles furnished as well as canoeing and the kayak for two. We never found time for the bicycles. The whole house was beautifully decorated and again I must say huge! It was nice to park in the garage and to have a opener to take when we shopped. We celebrated our grand daughter's high school graduation, our grandson's 20th birthday and my husband's 70th birthday. Susan young is great to work with! I would stay there again!! Carol from TN

Easey Access

We spent the month traveling between Orlando, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Clearwater, Bradenton & Anna Marie Isand using this rental as home base & it was extremely convenient!! The owner, who was easy to do business with, supplied everything from linens, paper supplies, cleaning supplies, stationary supplies,seamstress supplies,first aid suppllies, easy to access WIFI, maps & brochures of local interests. Located on a canal, you could even try fishing - we did! My 3 year old grandson thoroughly enjoyed the 'toy closet' and outdoor gym set when we were home. I found a baby product rental agency in Sarasota,that delivers, for a small charge, for our 5 month old grandson's baby needs. . .even set up & dismantled the crib. The game table, board games, puzzles and cards were also well used by family and friends. Our medium to large dog enjoyed the neighbors pets and had no problem feeling protective of the rental property. We would recommend this home to our friends traveling in the area.

Excellent location

We just returned from our stay at this home and we were very pleased with it's location. The house was quite spacious and very well appointed with all the comforts of home and more. The home owner Susan was amazing to deal with and definitely goes the extra "mile" to assure your stay is perfect. We highly recommend this home and look forward to returning soon. Terry

Great place to stay !

I am happy my wife found this beautiful home to stay in while we visited Florida. We have stayed in many VRBO homes in the past few years from Hawaii to Florida and I can honestly say this was the best we've seen. The home has everything a family needs and met our every need. Susan was very accomadating through-out our stay. We had family members come in from a few northern states and they were very impressed with the house, the pool and the dock. Our nephews and neices that lived locally loved the swingset and tree house in the back. The house has a great layout and is close to everything in the area. We will definitely stay here again !
