Lovely Tuscan / Bali retreat

This home and garden are reminiscent of both Tuscany and Bali. The landscaping is unique and full of flowers, cactii, grapefruit trees, with numerous lovely seating areas and tables. The house is convenient for guests with the primary bedroom at one end of the house and the two other bedrooms/den at the other end. The chef's kitchen is well equipped with a large Wolfe gas stove and two sinks. More than sufficient dishes and glasses so we never ran out. The high ceilings give it a spacious feel, and furniture is comfortable and large. Great granite bar and large dining room table make it easy to entertain. The location near a park is perfect for walking and biking. The large lap pool and hot-tub are fantastic and reachable through doors in each bedroom. The owner is friendly, intelligent and responsive to issues that arise. We highly recommend this little piece of paradise.

Beautiful home

The home is magnificent. Everything was beautiful! Pool, hot tub and everything outside was very pretty and relaxing. Something I would add are black out shades in the primary bedroom. Very bright wake up call. One of the 3 bedrooms has black out shades. My rec would be to add to all. And a few bathrobes at least in the primary bathroom. It’s huge, and has a hanging closet! Great bathrooms across the board. We had a great time! Cool historical neighborhood and walking distance to downtown!

Great House

My family and I, total of 5 people, visited for a week in December. The house was great and exactly what we wanted. We cooked at the house for all but 1 dinner, the kitchen photos were what attracted us to the house and we ended up pleased. There is everything you would possibly need to cook dinner for the family. It was the best outfitted house we have ever visited from VRBO. Our family joked that the only negative was we spent more time at the house than planned. That was because the back sitting area, with pool and hot tub, was so comfortable and relaxing. All in all, great house, owner was very friendly and easy to work with, and the property was in a great location. We would love to use it again and recommend to others.

5 Star Property!

This home was exceptionally clean and luxurious. The attention to detail in regards to the home itself, and the management by homeowner Chris, was 5 stars. Location felt very safe and secure. Short uber rides to all the shops and restaurants on the main strip. Would definitely return!

An incredible weekend with friends

We truly enjoyed our stay at Talavera! The property is beautiful and has so much character. The pool was easily our favorite spot and was perfect for relaxing during the day. As others have said, the home is even more amazing in person and felt super private. Most importantly, Chris is an incredible host. He was accommodating from the moment I booked his home, and he took the time to make sure our stay was comfortable!

Wonderful stay in Palm Springs

What a wonderful home to spend a month in Palm Springs! The home absolutely wonderful and location is so close to town with lots of walking opportunities! Unlike many rental homes, this home is so well equipped — especially the kitchen which had every appliance and tool needed. The patios and pool made for relaxing afternoons and evenings. Chris is very helpful and responsive and takes wonderful care of this property. Hope to stay here again in the near future!

Gorgeous house!! Prime Location!

We all wanted to buy this house and never have to leave. It was perfect for our group of moms celebrating a 40th birthday. The kitchen is incredible, loved the warm pool and hot jacuzzi, the showers are amazing, the pictures don't do it justice. Christopher was great. Thanks so much!

It's said often in VRBO reviews that photos don't do a property justice; in this case, it's true. This is a truly beautiful home, with a gracious host, in the perfect location. Walkable to downtown Palm Springs. Gourmet kitchen open to stunning great room area, filled with the comforts of home. High-end furnishings throughout. The home was amazing, allowed us to have the exact trip/experience we were looking for which was calm and relaxing. The home is amazing, we never left the property aside from grabbing groceries, it had everything we needed. Everything was great I will definitely be staying here again.

Desert oasis

Chris was a phenomenal host and the house is immaculate. The pool and hot tub were a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. The location is also excellent—only a mile away from the casino! We will definitely return.
