Six of us -- three adults and three kids -- spent five nights in the spring in this lovely home. The beautifully landscaped backyard is the star with a the pool, hot tub, and sauna. There is also an ample covered seating area that made it possible to dine and even do some work. The interior offers a bunch of other activities such as pool table, which was great after a day of swimming.

Perfect 60th Birthday Celebration & Golf Basecamp!We stayed here last weekend with a group of five lifelong friends for a golf outing and 60th birthday celebration. Another 3 of our buddies from high school stayed in a condo nearby but ventured over to our place every chance they had. The villa exceeded all of our expectations. The amenities are exceptional. We spent quite a bit of time in the game room playing ping pong, shuffleboard, darts, etc. However, the backyard is the real showstopper. The pool was perfectly heated upon arrival. The 130-foot river wrapping around the house is something we have never seen before and was fun to float in and it provided a nice ambiance. We used the hot tub tucked inside a cave with a waterfall often. The outdoor kitchen (BBQ, stove, and fridge) made hosting our group easy (we BBQ' d for 12 people on night 1). If you’re looking for a luxury getaway that feels like a mini resort for a golf trip or milestone celebration, this is the place! The host (Carol) was awesome and made it very easy for us to get acquainted with the property with her directions.

We loved our stay at Sunny Dunes. We highly recommend it. The pool was definitely the highlight. And the hot tub behind the waterfall was a big highlight of our trip as well. Super close to downtown. Hope to be back someday.

We’re a group of six active 60ish year old adults; had a blast with the pool that is well equipped with floatable toys, numerous chairs, large table for games and meals; we played ping pong, shuffle board, pinball games; and the kitchen well appointed. Excellent communication with hosts!!

Great Stay

The property was excellent. We were there for Coachella Festival weekend 1. The check-in process was easy and the host Carol was responsive and attentive to our needs. The Villa was well maintained and clean. Huge pool with a slide and grotto to keep you cool during the hot desert days and a great games room to keep your entertained when you're not out around Palm Springs and the surrounding Coachella Valley. With four bedrooms and fold out beds and plenty of seating and it can accommodate larger groups but the most we had was five. The Air Conditioning (AC) system keep the place cool even with the outside temperature reaching over 100F during our visit. No complaints for our short stay.

Fun place, great location

I would recommend. We had four adults and 4 tween/teens. Downtown was very close and the house was very fun! The backyard is amazing. The place could use a deep clean, but really it was great for our group. Plenty of space. The kitchen is smaller, so don’t expect to cook. We ate out most of the time, so it was good for us.

Come for the pool, tolerate the house layout

We had a great stay with most of our time spent outside in the backyard with the pool, hammock, hot tub and sauna. The house however, left a lot to be desired. The layout is funky with limited areas to have a large group gather comfortably. The kitchen is quite small and it got crowded with only a few of us in there at a time. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are only accessible if you exit the house and go outside. For our family it was a bit limiting since we didn't feel comfortable having small kids walking by the pool at night to get to bed. However, the owners were fantastic and responded to our requests immediately and even helped us secure a second baby pac-n-play for sleeping. The house was a ton of fun for our family and even with the quirks, we had a really wonderful time together.

Awesome pool

The house was beautiful and the pool was super fun the kids enjoyed it a lot. Everything was really clean and tidy. The property owner was really nice and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape the heat or have a fun weekend in the desert.

Great place to celebrate family and friends

This is a fun and relaxing place. The outdoor spaces and covered patio makes for a lot of fun. It was raining during one day of our 3 day stay, so being on the patio with heaters made it pleasant. The property could use a little updating, but the pictures accurately depict the house.
