We loved this house! Best location with beautiful grounds! Floating in the pool with the view of the mountains…wow! So clean and spacious. Steve, the property manager, gave us great recommendations for shopping and dining. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Upon arriving, we were impressed by the expansive grounds and large pool area. There are also several outdoor eating areas to choose from. The interior decor is really nice and in the Spanish character style.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at Casa de Lana and it was just as incredible as the first time. Everything about the place is perfect. The house and yard are beautiful, and the very large pool is unique to most homes in PS. The kitchen has everything we need to whip up quick meals or go gourmet. On top of all that, Kyle is very responsive and accommodating, as is Steve, the property manager. Our five night stay ended too soon. We are already taking about next year’s visit.

The Botany Convention

As grandparents we stayed in the house 5 days straight babysitting 2 toddlers while our adult children attended the American Botany Convention. We used all the facilities, pool, laundry, kitchen etc. All were in great shape. The kitchen especially was well stocked and the house is near 2 good supermarkets. Very good rental!

Outstanding Property

This was one of the best properties we've ever stayed at. Inside of the house was immaculate and the property grounds were beyond gorgeous. Pool was ginormous :-). This was the first time we had a concierge service that came with the house and Steve did an outstanding job to make sure our stay was perfect.

Lana Turner magnificent property

This property and home is one of the finest properties we have stayed at. We have traveled and stayed in properties all over the world. It was comfortable, very well appointed with everything you need as it maintained historical significance and ambiance. The out door grounds, patios and pool were beyond belief. Kyle the owner, is extremely responsive and one of the best super hosts ever. We highly recommend this outstanding stunning historical property that the famed Lana Turner once lived.Thank you again Kyle for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful residence.

A Charming House with a Beautiful Garden

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house is charming. The property has a beautiful garden on an extra large lot and a beautiful swimming pool. The neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed coffee on the veranda as we watched the sunrise and bird activity.We highly recommend this lovely property.

Perfect desert retreat

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks with visits from older children on one weekend. The owners greeted us upon arrival and provided a thorough walk-through which we really appreciated. The charming house with eclectic decor and a piano includes three bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is well appointed and great for serving meals inside or outside. We hired a caterer one night and she loved the stove and convenient nearby grill. We also hired a massage therapist one day and she set up on the private porch. The outside grounds are spectacular. There are so many spaces to sit, read, converse, and relax. The pool is amazing and set to 86 degrees…was like heaven on earth. The owners have thought of everything. We had some unforeseen issues and the owners resolved everything to our satisfaction. The house is in a fantastic location. Quiet but 5-10 minutes to everything. We would definitely stay again! Loved Casa Lana and made many great memories there.

Palm Springs Oasis

We couldn't have been more pleased by our stay at Casa de Lana. The property was as described and very well stocked, but the pictures can't convey the house's comforting vibe, both indoors and out. This isn't a sterile rental - it's a special home with history that has obviously been well cared for and thoughtfully improved with style. The location is terrific, with mountain views, access to hiking trails just up the street (with bighorn sheep !), and Palm Spring's restaurants only a short drive away (Ubers were quick and reliable). The host and local property manager were both responsive, gracious, and delightful to work with. We look forward to returning!

The Best

Wonderful property!

The home is absolutely lovely. The landscaped property and pool are a delight. Check in was seamless, as we were met by Steve, the property manager. The kitchen is well supplied to cook in. Positively dreamy

This place is beyond the best--clean, comfortable, well-maintained and well-stocked--and the grounds are jaw-droppingly extensive and gorgeous. Many lovely outdoor areas to dine, lounge, and work; our group of six spread out and relished every minute in this piece of heaven. Owner and property manager were also friendly and helpful. Lovely property!

This home was perfect for our family. We loved the central Palm Springs location, heated pool, and comfortable bedding. We enjoyed many beautiful hikes, great shopping and restaurants, and the easy drive to Joshua Tree. Can’t wait to return!
