Great Stay

Brad was a fantastic property manager and quick to respond to our texts. Check in was seamless and the property was exactly as presented, if not better. We’ve rented mid-century houses in PS many times before and this was one of the best experiences to date.

Great time with a great theme!

We had a blast here! Check in was easy. Clean property in a nice neighborhood. Nice theme throughout the house. Everything you need was here for a short stay. No problems whatsoever. Pool and jacuzzi were perfect! Nice view of mountains. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Fabulous Mid Century Bungalow But Not a Party Pad

This was my family's first visit to Palm Springs, but it won't be the last. The house itself was clean, well-stocked, and fabulously furnished for any fan of Mid Century style. It felt comfortable, light and airy with adequate space for the five of us and our family pet. All appliances were in great condition and ready for use. Much time was spent in the super-clean heated pool and jacuzzi. The entire back yard was lovely; well-maintained, spacious, with plenty of outdoor furniture to lounge in. Restaurants, cafes and shopping can be found in the nearby downtown area. I'm a vintage clothing fanatic, so I was in heaven! Lots of vintage clothing and furniture shops downtown. A visit to the Art Museum is well worth adding to your to-do list. Great collection of modern art. One of the biggest advantages: close proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. We visited twice within the week and absolutely loved hiking in the park. Another hit with my kids was the Palm Springs Air Museum. What a wonderful week we had. Plenty of activity and rest. Communications with Rental Management were easy and followed by prompt, courteous responses. Check in/out were a breeze. Only two criticisms worth mentioning include the somewhat shabby nature of the neighborhood (however, once inside you are in your own private oasis). Secondly, the extreme sound limits imposed upon outdoor use (for a property offered to families with pets). I was astonished to find small postings on all exterior doors stating rules such as (I'm paraphrasing), "No music allowed outdoors-ever." "Outdoor activities should lessen by the time of 9pm." And further, "Renters should remain inside by 10pm". A $1,000 Palm Springs fine to be imposed if these rules were not adhered to. What a shame to rent a vacation home in this beautiful spot with pools and spas which are not allowed to be accessed at night under the stars. Ultimately it wasn't a problem for our family, but I can imagine this rigid policy being a big disappointment or deterrent for some. Ultimately, Yes, I'd love to stay at Racquet Club Estates again and would recommend it to others who can keep quiet.

Great Vibe

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to serve a full Thanksgiving dinner. The outdoor space included a pool, hot tub, gas grill, eating area, fire pit area, green grass and a mountain view. The decor was appropriate for this midcentury modern home.

Just What the Doctor Ordered...

Excellent stay in a beautiful home. Kids were happy with the salt water pool and hot tub. Adults were happy with hip vibe. Well maintained. Tip top communications. The kitchen was amazingly equipped. Two comments which can't be positively addressed by owner and by property mgmt, but is really important to prospective renters. The no-outdoor-noise/music policy is a major bummer. The relentless wind of north Palm Springs, often, prevented us from being outdoors.

A dream deco house in Palm Springs

We loved our stay here. The house is an art deco masterpiece! The pool is wonderful to look at and swim in. The house is within walking distance (2 miles) to downtown Palm Springs. It was a wonderful stay! Thanks to the owners and Relax:Palm Springs!

Good Times in PS

FABULOUS outdoor space, cool house

Love the house. The decor was as amazing in person as it is in the pictures, the kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Outside, the pool was phenomenal and the fire pit was lovely. There were some small maintenance issues that could be addressed. The hot tub was dirty and the pool company didn't clean it. The ice dispenser in the door was clogged with a large solid chunk of ice, and the dishwasher wasn't working properly. None of that was enough to dampen our trip, and the property management company was responsive and at attentive when issues were brought up. We would definitely stay at this home, or another managed by this company, in the future.

Great pool, comfortable stay

Nice large swimming pool, well-equipped kitchen, overall everything you would need for a comfortable stay. As mentioned in previous reviews; property shows some wear on furnishings, pool deck and spa.

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a very nicely designed home. There were a few issues. The bathrooms were a bit run down and the guest bathroom had issues with bugs. The pita and pans in the kitchen were scratched up.

Perfect Getaway

We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children staying here in July 2020. The home was very clean and well appointed. We loved the mid-century modern touches. There was plenty of seating, and a great Sonos system. Outside the huge pool was the main feature. We all were in it every day, all day with plenty of room. The view of the mountains was fantastic. I would suggest a few more umbrellas around the pool area. The neighborhood was great and felt very safe. It was a nice area for long walks and seeing plenty of mid-century modern homes. We all enjoyed our stay here very much and hope to return again soon.

Fantastic house

5 stars all around, the house is amazing! We basically lived in the spacious backyard with the large pool and jacuzzi, the house had plenty of amenities such as towels, and have a fully stocked kitchen. We cooked all of our meals and had absolutely everything necessary, they even have blenders and food processors! Any question I asked was answered promptly, and I never had any concerns about cleanliness, the place was sparkling clean:) we will stay again!

Palm Springs Relaxing Getaway

Loved, loved, loved this place!!! Beautiful home in an amazing location. The managing company was personable and very responsive. Would definitely return in a Hearst’s beat. Only opportunity would be the upkeep of the bathrooms. The tubs had been refinished but clearly were in need of another refinishing and painting and wood work details need a little touch up. This wouldn’t however deter me from returning.
