Tucked away in the mountainside of Palm Desert, you will discover Base Camp - your very own luxury desert retreat, a fully remodeled 9-bedroom, 5-bath private villa nestled in the beautiful mountainside of Palm Desert. Base Camp is a fully renovated oasis purposefully designed for our guests to enjoy the amenities of a boutique hotel with all the benefits of a modern private villa.

The grounds at Base Camp feature not one, but two beautiful saltwater swimming pools, hot tub, hammock garden, fire pit, bocce ball court, sand volleyball and game room! You will also find alfresco dining, and a gas barbeque with island seating. Savor fresh desert mornings, long afternoons, and starry nights on elegant loungers and sunbeds.

More entertainment options await just steps from your front door — Base Camp has public tennis courts available for guest access just down the road so be sure to bring your tennis rackets and balls! In the mood to explore the local mountain trails? Base Camp lives up to its name as a central hub at the base of the deserts most iconic hiking trails just a stone's throw from the villa.

Its sleek interior is detailed with modern décor and elegant furnishings, exuding a welcoming yet sophisticated atmosphere. Wood accents complement the neutral-tone color palette. Take a seat in front of the living room with a bottle of wine and good company. Soaring windows look out to the mountains and birds-eye view of the entire valley, expanding the living space, and brining in natural light throughout. Additional perks include an open-concept great room, smart TVs in all guest suites, high-speed wifi and ample dining options for large groups. The brand-new kitchen has waterfall island seating, stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with all the essentials to entertain family and friends.

Nine exquisite bedrooms accommodate up to 16 guests at this unique villa all featuring Casper gel mattresses, Smart TVs, ceiling fans and AC.

The primary suite, located off the East end of the living area, has a king-sized bed and writing desk. This room also has a 65” Smart TV and a luxurious en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and a freestanding tub. The suite opens onto the front courtyard through glass doors, steps from a cushioned sitting area to enjoy your morning coffee.

There is space available for up to 6 cars total. Street parking is not permitted. Oversized vehicles are not permitted.

For added convenience, this home also features two private washers and dryers. A spacious driveway provides room for up to 6 cars, giving you the freedom to explore the surrounding desert, including Joshua Tree, located less than an hour away.

We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests' and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties.

Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options. If you are looking to play golf, we are minutes from PGA West with three public courses to choose from; The TPC Stadium, The Greg Norman and The Jack Nicklaus Tournament.

Enjoy some of the many world-class events like the Humana Challenge (previously the Bob Hope Classic). Or if you enjoy tennis, minutes away is the home of the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Classic at Indian Wells Top Rated Tennis Stadium, held early to mid-March, with over 300 of the top-rated tennis players in the world. In April comes the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals just minutes down the road hosted at the famous Polo Grounds where you can also enjoy top-ranked polo matches free of charge and have a tailgate picnic with your friends at the same time!

LOCATION
15 minutes from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, 20 minutes from the Empire Polo Fields for all the equestrian activities and Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals; 10 minutes from the La Quinta Resort, PGA West, Old Town La Quinta, and El Paseo. Less than 10 minutes from I-10, you can quickly head to Palm Springs, nearby casinos and other Coachella Valley destinations.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.

WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.

DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.

CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.

WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.

There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.

CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.

DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Palm Desert.
