Family celebration with adults and kids. The pool was the hit with all and the beautiful setting. Kitchen very well equipped. Management responded quickly to questions and sent maintenance when needed. (Minor problem). Will definitely return if given the opportunity.

We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday at Basecamp and it was absolutely incredible! The property was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our family gathering. Everything was well-kept, thoughtfully designed, and made for such a memorable celebration. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend it for any special occasion or getaway.The only small thing I wish the property had on hand was a broom and a pair of scissors — otherwise, everything was perfect.Thank you for helping make such a milestone celebration so special!

This is our third time staying at this house and we absolutely love it. The location is second to none and the outdoor space is a dream. The views from the pool cannot be beat, the access to the hiking trails is literally right at the bottom of the street and the house is so pleasant you don’t want to leave but if you do there is great shopping and restaurants a very short drive away. Yet another wonderful and relaxing vacation at this house for our very satisfied family.

Spacious property, beautiful outside amenities

The property is spacious and well stocked. The outside offers two pools and everything you could ask for to have a relaxing stay. The management is very responsive. We had a group of 8 and we had a great time. We will come again.

Even better the second time!

This was our group's second time staying at Base Camp, and we were so happy to come back. The tranquil vibe captured the essence of our retreat weekend. All the rooms are well designed and kept, and the little details, like the welcome Crumbl cookies, were such a nice touch. The house is stocked with most everything that you need, so there was nothing to worry about. Our team can't wait to come back next year!

Amazing property and customer service

Everything about this house and the property managers was amazing. They were super responsive, accommodating and super nice. It made the experience that much better. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette party and I will 100% be back. The house has privacy but is close to the downtown palm desert area. The only thing that would be better is the barroom situation got a little tight at times. But there was 14 girls in one house.

The Best House

If you like places that are perfect, Base Camp is for you. The setting, the pool, the outdoor amenities, the beauty, the proximity to hiking but also to El Paseo/stores and restaurants, the on top of it property management - This house is our favorite and we have stayed all over the area in some pretty classy rentals. You’re in for a treat.

Stunning and family friendly!

We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The property itself is situated on a beautiful lot that backs up to private mountains. The home is stunning inside and out with beautiful design and very comfortable living areas. Both kids and adults spent time in both beautiful pools and we will definitely be returning at some point. Jen is one of the most responsive and professional property managers we have ever dealt with. She was unbelievably responsive and so eager to communicate. This is an A+ property and organization. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot for families who like to hike

Base Camp is at the foot of many hiking trails in Palm Desert, the location and the house are both amazing. The outdoor space is full of natural beauty. We stayed there for a few days and immediately booked a return stay. This house is our favourite.

Plenty of Space!

We stayed at Base Camp for 4 nights and had a blast! We had at least 1 person in each room and had plenty of space, it did not feel crowded at all. I believe that Parties planning on staying there at maximum occupancy could do so and be very comfortable. The back yard is also very spacious and the pool has plenty of chair and towels and umbrellas — it feels like you’re at a resort pool. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment, flatware, cutlery, etc. (unlike some vacation homes) and the bedrooms have plenty of towels and soaps — all the necessities Would definitely recommend!

Great Desert Getaway

We had a great time! Really enjoyed the beach volleyball court, that was a big highlight! The view from the jacuzzi is gorgeous, very peaceful. All mattresses were very comfortable, everyone was appreciative of that. Bathroom accessibility was a problem in the sense that only 4 of the 9 bedrooms had a bathroom connected to them. Overall, it was a great home and we had a wonderful trip.

Outstanding and gorgeous property. Beautiful and well appointed. Wonderul semi private setting. Its exactly as described and photographed.We had a great and fun time with all the outdoor pools and games. The Hammocks are a plus and so is the fire pit and the outdoor BBQ and dining area - so beautiful. Indoors well appointed with suble, calming, beautiful furnishings and great beds! One very slight issue - need more bath/toilets for the number of bedrooms they have as the present numbers not sufficient in my experience - although I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Absolutely amazing home!

This is a dream property for any vacation. An absolutely gorgeous home that is spacious, clean, well stocked, well managed, has a great floor plan, great decor, and an amazing location. A few yards from the front gate is Cahuilla Hills Park with great hiking trails and gorgeous views. You are also a 5 minute drive from all of the amenities and shopping you could ever desire. Book it now for a dream get away!

Beautiful Property

Our office stayed here for our visioning retreat weekend, and it was perfect for what we needed! The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was perfect for hosting our team dinners, and everything was clean and nicely furnished. The outdoor space was an amazing backdrop and perfect for early morning yoga. I definitely recommend this place!

Totally AMAZING location and property!!

Base Camp is all it is said to be in the other reviews and more! The photos make it look great but don't do it justice because it is all at least as good as it looks in the photos. We all had a brilliant and meaningful time together staying there and would do so again in a heartbeat when visiting Palm Desert again!! Top marks all round!!!
