First off I have to say Scott and team were great in the beginning and during our stay. Very responsive and helpful with questions. The house was pretty clean. The rugs in the property and the condition of the exterior furniture are the only items I question the cleanliness of. There were many things I noticed throughout the week we were there that lead me to believe the owner has neglected regular maintenance or taken shortcuts on repairing things. Here is the list of items I sent to Scott’s team at the end of our trip: There are lots of spots where the drywall is cracking and bubbling(can be a sign of water damage), pool finish is coming apart, refrigerator had to be reset multiple times to get it to cool anything, significant trail of ants in front and backyard, faucets/water fixtures have calcium buildup, huge water spots on the patio coming from planter boxes, bathtub faucet in master leaks, tile is raised in the master bathroom(can be caused by water damage or improperly installed tile), exterior door knobs stick, exterior furniture has apparent mold/mildew.
I emailed this list of items along with a few other things over to Scott and team as per their request upon leaving and received no response. I even took the time to take photos of the bigger items and include them in the email. At the very least I would expect a response. Even a simple apology for these items would have went a long way and probably made me give a little more positive review just based on the customer service alone. For the amount of money we spent we expected a little more especially when the photos on the listing portray a home that’s in great condition.
