Great Palm Springs Vibes!

Loved our stay here. Great communication with the host before and during the stay. Home was decorated with a great Palm Springs mod design. Loved the lava lamps! Pool, hot tub and fire-pit were great to come back to after a day of exploring. Loved that the rental price included the heated pool. Most other rentals were charging an additional fee to heat the pool. Close to downtown PS but located on a quiet street in an architecturally historic neighborhood. We were concerned with proximity to airport and noise but it was never an issue during our stay. Would stay again.

Wonderful stay in Palm Springs

This property was perfect for us. Great amenities, location, clean, easy to check in and out. Every day we enjoyed the pool and spa, and walking around the area. More than enough towels and kitchenware, comfortable beds and the robes are a great touch. Thank you for making our stay in Palm Springs perfect.

Oasis in the Desert

We loved this VRBO. I have never seen a kitchen so well equipped with not only everything you need, but very nice quality. Kitchen aid knives, gas stove, very nice place settings wine and drink glasses and pretty cutlery, then it is all mirrored in plastic for outside enjoyment. We can’t say enough about the outside area. The pool and hot tub were kept at a perfect temp. We would love to come back. Oh I should mention as some complained about the air traffic. Palm Springs is very small with an airport in the middle. Yes there is airplane noise but it never disturbed us, I think most places will have some air noise. We also wanted to thank the hosts for their special welcome basket it was very much appreciated.

Fun Modern Home!

This is a perfect place to stay for Modernism Week or anytime! The updates to this Krisel designed home are thoughtful and the furnishings are fabulous. It was very comfortable for four adults. The location makes it easy to get to downtown with a short drive, and it is close to groceries, gas, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and interesting to walk around. We enjoyed the lovely pool and hot tub surrounded by beautiful landscaping. All the appliances are pretty new and heat/air conditioning functioned well. We had a great stay and would highly recommend staying here, especially if you are a fan of mid-century modern design.

So Mid-Century

We will come back for sure. This home was so cool. It's exactly how pictures show yet better in person. Such a great neighborhood. My teenage daughter and her friend loved the pool. Host was great. I had a couple questions and all were answered right away. This place does not disappoint.

Completely As Advertised!

We have been VRBOing for over 15 years now. It is refreshing when a property represents itself on the site completely as it is. Usually there is a few things that have aged since the pics were taken or have been slightly exaggerated. Not in this case. What you see and read in the property description is what you get. The neighbourhood is nestled in a quiet mid century modern neighbourhood. Super easy to navigate the streets to stores, amenities and so close to the Palm springs strip. The beds were SUPER comfy(all of them), the kitchen was well appointed(I'm a home chef), and the living area was as shown; mid century modern chic. The piece du resistance is the back yard and pool. This property has the nicest backyard pool area we have experienced in our travels(Florida, California and Hawaii). The grass is plush and soft, the trees provide shade in the heat of the afternoon and the salt water pool is heated without extra charge(rare we've found). The view of the mountains is spectacular as you look out over the pool from the deck chairs. The firepit really can pump out the heat if needed(we were here during the SoCal Spring of 2023 cool weather, so it came in handy). We stayed 2 weeks and never found ourselves pining for a change of scenery. Difficult to find negatives to this property. If I were to be extremely picky I would say that the small low end Weber BBQ struggled in the windy weather to produce enough HP for a good char on a steak. Oh yeah, as with my previous experience with other mid century mod furniture, while it looks nice, it isn't built for comfort. Having said that, I(our entire crew) wouldn't hesitate for a second to book this property again. Thanks to Jeff and Chris for their attentiveness, attention to detail and the welcome basket. Fantastic property.

Great House, Attentive Owner

We rented this property for one month (February 2023). Exactly as it was promoted. Great location, 1 mile walk to downtown. Really nice clean house. Beautiful pool, spa and fire pit. The second day we were there the hot water heater started acting up next day replaced while we were at lunch. Never without hot water, immediately addressed. Lots of towels, comfortable beds and fully equipped. Highly recommend this property and responsive leasing agent and owner. We’ve used VRBO many times, this is a really good one. Kevin

Amazing mid century mod with pool, hot tub

Stunning property that makes for a very relaxing stay with family. The pool and hot tub are immaculately maintained with easy controls. The outside fire pit and dining make an Al fresco dinner or wine sips at-the-ready. Two king beds and linens are all very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen made for breakfast and picnic lunch prep for Joshua Tree. Very quiet neighborhood let us all relax in a spa like setting. Enjoy this gem and it’s lovely hosts.

Beautiful Property!

Our family of three spent Thanksgiving week in this home and had a wonderful time. It was very clean and a perfect fit for our needs. Both the pool and spa were sparkling in the sunlight, well taken care of. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in Palm Springs.

What mid-century modern dreams are made of . . .

My husband and I had a fantastic time at this property. We never got around to some things we had on our list to do while visiting Palm Springs because we really enjoyed relaxing at the house instead. Hot tub was great, fire pit was great. I am sure bocce ball would have been great if we got around to playing it. Jeff was an excellent host and responded to all my questions and emails very quickly. I am hoping to book next year.

Great outdoor space; comfortable and stylish home

Two couples enjoyed a working vacation at this comfortable and stylish home. The pool and outdoor space was great and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of good quality cookware and plenty of dishes, etc. to cook and serve meals. Communication with the property manager was friendly and helpful. The home is a short drive to downtown PS, a grocery store, the tram and just a block to a nice park. Would definitely recommend.

Great quiet location

We loved our stay here. It was super clean and the neighborhood was very quiet and close to everything. Check in was a breeze and the yard was lovely with pool and bocce court. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was outfitted well. We wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again. Communication was great.

Authentic Private Palm Springs Getaway Home

Wonderful home away from home in Palm Springs. Quiet, private and just a short walk or drive to everything we needed. All the vacation home amenities we could have hoped for and a peaceful and architecturally pleasant neighborhood. Everything as advertised, no surprises.

Absolutely Pleased

This property is amazing. The attention to every detail is met. The kitchen is fully equipped, so a quick trip to one of two close grocery stores will have you set. The outside living space is fun, private and relaxing with lounge chairs, pool floats, grill (in excellent shape), fire pit, and hummingbirds. The pool has a nice, warm hot tub, and the pool depth goes from 3' to 8', which was a nice surprise. Additionally, there are more than enough towels for bath and pool. TV in every room. Quite streets to go walking. Will absolutely stay here again if in the Palm Springs area.
