Home in great location

Great location and home layout. Lovely pool. Also well stocked kitchen barring the quality of frying pans. Also no dresser in bedroom we were in so living out of suitcase. Plugs for sink and “bathtub” missing or falling apart.

Cozy mid-century home

This property was extremely cozy and relaxing, just what us girls were looking for. We truly enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to the fountain in the Koi pond. The bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Birthday Getaway

Booked a little girls trip for my birthday we checked in Friday and out on Sunday. The layout was perfect the pool and back yard were bigger than others I checked out in the area. The backyard is very private and has all the amenities for perfect lounging. My only suggestion would be to bring plastic/paper goods if you plan on barbecuing or eating in the backyard as all that is provided is the glassware for eating inside. I would definitely book with this host again.

We checked in on Tuesday and the pool had not been cleaned for awhile and was cleaned on Thursday and we left on Friday morning, so we had one day to enjoy a clean pool

Cool place to play

We had a great 3 day stay in Palm Springs. The house was beautiful and just as described. Close to everything we wanted to do in Palm Springs: hiking the canyon trails, visiting Agua Caliente Museum, cactus and wildflower viewing. We didn’t opt to use the pool since it was very windy and chilly this week (early March) but loved sitting outside in the mornings. Also loved the coffee table books on mid-century architecture in the area. We had everything we needed to cook one dinner on the grill, and enjoyed going out to Trio and Lulu’s the other nights. All in all, a cool place to stay in a great area.

Wonderful property and great service from property manager

Great property. Would recommend to friends. The only thing a renter should be aware of is airplane noise. Property is on flight path. Not a huge deal and you get used to the air traffic.

Great House, Wonderful Back Yard

We loved the house, especially the back yard pool area and spent all the time we could there when it wasn’t too windy. Just happened to be a windy week for us. Randi is the best and a great communicator. Also, the kitchen was great, cooked most of our meals in!

Perfect Oasis

Relaxing time at Mariposa Palms

Enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvenating 2 weeks at this quiet and serene Palm Springs property. The backyard was the highlight with a deliciously warm pool surrounded by bougainvilleas in full bloom. The koi pond with its water feature is a very nice addition. The property was exceptionally quiet. Never heard even a single voice from neighbors during my time there. Yes, there is airplane noise but it passes quickly and if you want to stay in PS proper you are going to hear airplanes. The location is very convenient to downtown and nearby grocery stores.

Great mid-century modern home

We just loved our stay at this Krisel/Alexander mid-century modern house in the Racket Club area. Clean, light and with a great outdoor space incl. heated pool. No doubt this place is on our Palm Springs vacation rental short list.

Nice home but on the small side. Bedrooms and bathrooms are small. Not adequate for large group. House is on the flight path. Noise is present but not horrible. Does require one to suspend conversation if sitting outside. Located on street that has traffic but not a huge issue. Neighborhood is lovely. Great area to walk; sidewalks, minimal traffic. Would consider returning in future.

Perfect Property for a Vacay!!!

If you are looking for a great, central location in Palm Springs with one of the most relaxing back yards ever, this is the place! Communication from Randi was excellent, beds were comfy, showers were hot, the house was well equipped and well maintained, but the back yard is the highlight. Early morning coffee by the koi pond and night swims in the heated pool while drinking cocktails after a day of golf/shopping/excursions made it the perfect property for a relaxing vacay. Location is amazing (everything is just a few minutes away), and the street is very quiet (not sure what that other review was talking about here). Yes, planes did occasionally fly over but when in Palm Springs, every area is under a flight path. Again, not sure why this was an issue as it really wasn't that bad. Thank you Randi for a great, memorable stay!

We had a nice stay here. The house is comfortable and well laid out. The back yard and pool are excellent. A koi pond with trickling water feature is a plus. Downtown is close by. Randi was quickly responsive before and during the visit. The cranky three star reviewer (see below) got it wrong. Yes, there are a few planes flying over head. But that’s kind of cool to see. And there was not excessive road noise! I am sensitive to noise and it was totally fine. C’mon three star cranky person! We would return for sure.

Basic house with pool and yard

The house was simple, clean, with a yard and pool. While it is close to downtown, which is a plus it you want to go there, the street the house is on is very loud and busy. Cars racing constantly, especially at night. Also, it’s in the airport flight pattern so planes day and night, with smell of jet fuel. Interesting, in PS city you cannot play music outdoors in a residence. I wish we knew that before. We were celebrating a birthday so bummer - no music! We found this out once we were in the house. And spoke w/ the property manager. This should be disclosed prior to renting as well as the air traffic. The beds were comfortable. BBQ worked but after multiple attempts to get it lit. Pool is heated which is very nice and there are floaters and a pump. The kitchen has basics for cooking. WifI works well. You have to ask for it. Bring your own toiletries because what is provided goes quickly and basic The bathroom towels should be upgraded as they are very thin or bring your own. Wanted to do a load of laundry but the washer smelled horrible. Smoke detector battery chirping the last night and could not find replacement batteries in the house. So overall, average basic home for the price point. I suggest providing more details to renters prior.

The property is exactly as advertised. Randi is responsive and attentive. If you're looking for a quiet spot not too far from downtown, this is it. Super relaxing with the pool, waterfall and fire pit. Hope to be back for a girls trip!

Your own little Oasis

We come to Palm Springs every couple of months and this lovely home did not disappoint. The home is clean and had all the amenities we needed and then some. It's just a few minutes from all of the dining and shops on Palm Canyon Drive and even closer is the grocery store for all your needs. My husband and I enjoy relaxing poolside for most of our time spent. Not only does the home have a large pool but also a fantastic Koi pond which is a great water feature and creates those spa like sounds of a waterfall that we love. The pool, beautiful trees, grass area, and foliage are very well maintained. Randi was a great host and communicated from start to finish. We will definitely return for another stay.

a great retreat!

A group of 4 of us had a great 4-night stay. The pool was such a nice retreat from the desert heat, it was an easy walk to a nearby park, the kitchen/bbq was well-stocked making at-home cooking fun. The house is very nice, but the backyard/pool was truly what made our experience so memorable. And the host was so easy to correspond with, and was very responsive/flexible to our needs. Definitely recommend!

Blissful Oasis

You can't ask for more. The house is comfortable and stylish. A delightful pool kept us cool even in 105º heat. The backyard is appointed with an enchanting Koi pond, broad palm trees that offer plenty of shade, a natural fire pit to sit around at night and a relaxing outdoor shower. It was the perfect getaway for my wife and I, our eight-year old son and our sweet dog.

Great time

Two day family getaway with our dogs. Randi Met us and showed us around. The house was very clean and well appointed. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Centrally located to downtown and grocery store. Pool was great in the super hot weather. Backyard is really pretty with koi pond fountain and fire pit. We had 6 adults adequate all fit comfortably

Mid-century modern gem

We really loved this mid-century modern oasis! The inside of the house feels very cool with lots of the mid-century details that really let you know you’re in Palm Springs. The tropical backyard feels very private and inviting, and it boasts many palm trees, a gorgeous pool, an outdoor dining area, koi pond, and fire pit. It’s especially gorgeous at night, with the pool lights on. The large palm trees and umbrellas provided plenty of shade throughout the day, and the pool was the perfect way to cool off. The house is a very quick drive to downtown Palm Springs. Our excellent host provided a list of recommended restaurants, which was very helpful. All in all, we had a great time and we would definitely stay again!
