First, the house was accurately described with good pictures. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas-even the airplanes that went directly overhead! Neighborhood was quiet with easy access to town. Beds were comfortable and everything was modern and nice. Second, our host company Apek was very responsive to us. We needed help getting into the house at midnight! The door would unlock, but not open. Our WiFi password was illegible, so no WiFi for 12 hours. We needed several home repairs- jamming door, low water pressure and lacking hot water in master bath especially! These were attempted but only partially improved. We also needed assistance as we visibly saw a rat in the house! Pest control set traps. A few other things were broken and not repaired- slider screens and towel bars specifically. Overall, despite this issues, we had a nice time.Sadly, the biggest issues were not with the house, but with Apek’s charges. We were NOT given the monthly discount for our stay as listed on VRBO. They only gave us the Weekly discount. I was charged 3,000 MORE than the booking listed!! Luckily I took pictures of the webpage showing the charges/discounts because I had to PROVE the price I was shown before Apek issued me a refund. It was a huge headache. We were also charged 299.00 for a required, mid-stay, cleaning. We didn’t receive the cleaning. Apek issued me a partial refund for cleaning cost. Sadly, we won’t be renting from VRBO again because of Apek’s billing inconsistencies.
