This is a set of two to three VRBOs – and a residence I think – on a lovely compound with green, kitschy décor, two pools, and a spa. It’s well located in a little neighborhood, with low-key mid-century designed homes, half between the airport and downtown Palm Springs. This home is not midcentury but more Spanish villa. There’s a veranda out front that people in some of the other VRBOs used for coffee. Our VRBO was one room with a queen sized bed, a bathroom, a kitchenette in the closet, and a second bedroom attached to the main bedroom through an arched doorway. The décor was lowkey – the second bedroom had a big window with a pretty view of the backyard. All windows had curtains to help keep the rooms dark when desired. The patio by our front door was only used by us and included chairs and a grill. It was a quiet atmosphere – although I do think our VRBO shared walls with the residence – with doves cooing the pleasant morning sound. It was well stocked with towels for swimming and bathing, toilet paper, a couple little bottles of water, and Keurig coffee. The TV in the main bedroom was huge and offered streaming services where you could sign in with your own account. We had a great time, only wishing there were more hooks to hang wet towels on, a mirror outside the bathroom with sufficient light to apply makeup, and one or two more coffee cups.
