This two-bedroom condo is tucked inside the gates of Monterey Country Club, one of Palm Desert's premier golf communities. The home looks out over a fairway and lake on the club's South Course, and its cheerful, freshly updated interior gives it a personality all its own.

INTERIOR

Vaulted ceilings and a wood-slat accent wall set a stylish backdrop for the open-concept living and dining area, furnished with a plush sofa, leather armchairs, and a patterned area rug that make it easy to settle in after a day in the sun. The adjoining kitchen is a standout, featuring a hand-painted tile backsplash, cobalt-blue cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a farmhouse sink, plus a sunny breakfast nook tucked into a bay window. Tile flooring runs throughout the main living areas, and an in-unit laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer keeps things simple for longer stays.
