Very welcoming host, with full amenities available in the home. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we could cook many of our meals. The home sits close to the pool, which was always very clean and quiet. It is a great location in Palm Desert.

The house is cozy and welcoming, and has all the amenities needed for a lovely and peaceful stay. It is quiet and the scenery is beautiful. The pool and hot tub are so close by, it is so convenient! We will definitely come back to stay at this house!

185 Gran Via - April 2025

Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations! The property manager/owner could not have been more gracious and accomodating to our needs throughout our rental period. The condo unit was immaculate, well-stocked with everything, and in close proximity to the pool and clubhouse. Entry and exit were easy and reliable. All appliances, AC, lights, entertainment system, TVs, and similar electronics worked without any sort of incident, and the owner provided easy-to-use, reliable instructions for everything within the unit and outside on the patio as well. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable vacations we have ever experienced, and we couldn't be more pleased with the property, and especially, the owner Kathy. Hope to be back again next year!

Awesome stay!!

What a beautiful home and Kathy has gone out of the way to create a wonderful and relaxing environment. relaxing on the patio or walking a few steps to the pool and hot tub was a wonderful experience. If you want a relaxing vacation, this is for you!!

Fabulous retreat

The condo is very clean and has every amenity you could wish for on vacation. The property was quiet, the pool is only a few steps away, and the patio is very peaceful. Kathy is a magnificent host as well as a great communicator. Thank you for making our stay a comfortable one. Will definitely book this condo again!

Great location, particular host

Overall great space, location, clean. Seems very “lived in” extremely stocked kitchen, lots of trinkets and items around and on counters. Not exactly a simple rental/vacation home feel, more so felt that we were staying at someone’s personal home. Though Kathy clearly tries to be overly accommodating and is very involved in the whole process she came across as over bearing and controlling from the start. She insisted on meeting us at the property the night of our arrival to show us around for an hour (at our kids bedtime) warning us about things like not opening certain blinds, not turning on the fire pit, not messing with the television, making sure to clean the shower glass, and stay up on the wash. She then proceeded to go over a multi page rental lease we were to sign. This left us feeling on edge and worried about our very move as Kathy was clearly very concerned about having us in her space. It was not a relaxed vibe. She seemed very anxious about our kids being in her space even though upon booking we assured her that we would be spending the majority of our time down the street at our family’s condo, and would take great care of her space during the time we were there which was very minimal. We left the place spotless, and she showed up 20 min before checkout waiting outside for us, causing us to feel rushed and uncomfortable in her space once again. Kathy means well but is far too overbearing for our taste especially when looking to relax and vacation.

Terrific location

Great Location

This is as advertised, a very comfortable condo in a very good location in the Monterey CC. Even though we did not make use of the kitchen or pool, the kitchen is very well equipped and the condo is literally just steps from the pool. Monterey CC is in a great location for easy access to many restaurants, including El Paseo, as well a number of very good golf courses, of which we took full advantage.

Wonderful rental! You will not be disappointed!

I stay in a lot of vacation rentals and I have what I consider somewhat high standards, but I am also pretty reasonable. I expect my accommodations to be great but I don’t expect perfection in every way. That being said, this stay was perfection in every way! Firstly, communication with Kathy was great. She responded quickly, gave very clear information/instructions, and even gave great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to check out. The condo was immaculate! Every square inch! The furniture was nice and new, the bed was comfortable, the towels were plush, and I could go on! It was stocked with everything you could want or need. Even pool floats! The pool was right out the back patio. Perfect for floating and then a quick run up to the condo for lunch. The patio was wonderfully equipped with lovely furniture. We spent most of our time on the patio relaxing and taking in the scenery. The condo complex was quiet, secure and close to everything. We could not have been happier with our stay. Thank you, Kathy for everything!

Great Getaway

Kathy provided everything we could want in a rental property. Actually it felt like home because nothing was missing. Totally stocked kitchen. linens. pool towels. Two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms made it perfect for 2 couples. We love all the pool floaties and the 4 bikes were fantastic. We used them every morning and most evenings. You don't have to leave the property to use the bikes which is great. With steps to the pool, which was fantastic, we used everyday. The other owners on the adjoining property are very friendly if you happen to run into them because it really feels like your own pool. We can't recommend enough. Kathy is super to deal with and is very prompt on making sure you have every thing you need. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful little piece of paradise

I really had such a wonderful stay here in Palm Desert. Kathy made sure the apartment had absolutely everything you could think of. It was spotless and clean and beautifully decorated. The lights at night added such a lovely touch. It is in a beautiful country club, and this unit is just steps from the pool/hot tub. I cam myself for a writing retreat and left feeling so refreshed and recharged. I would recommend this property to anyone, including families or people traveling alone!

Entire family had an awesome time, just steps to pool and all conveniently located near shops, services, movies, meals and more. Wonderful location and condo!

Well appointed and equipped! The condo was on the golf course and a few steps from the pool at the Monterey Golf Club. The host was very accessible and responsive to questions. Highly recommend!
