Short getaway

Pros: The house was very clean and we liked the location.Cons: The remotes for heater, fireplace & hottub didn't work so we were very cold the first night. Hosts addressed it the next morning.

Private, beautiful casita!

This was absolutely perfect! Two bedrooms, a kitchen, laundry room- everything was exactly what the listing said, but better. The beds were very comfortable too! The owners were super responsive and the casita was SPOTLESS! I would absolutely stay here again.

Good home base

We stayed here for 5 nights in January 2025. The property is fine but note the absence of a stove/range. We ended up doing all meals out or over at a friend’s house so it was ok. The only real negative was the lack of communication. We never got instructions on how to open the gate. It seems like they forgot to email me with the directions because there is no way you would know to use a fob inside the house that was not labeled. The owner was on site and came out to open it for us and we apologized for disturbing him but didn’t get any apology back for not letting us know what to do. I even messaged them through the VRBO app 3 days before our trip and asked if there were any special checkin instructions or procedures. They replied they would send it a couple of days before our arrival. Nothing in the app, my email, or text so I guess they forgot. Anyway, aside from the communication issue, the place was pretty clean and a good place to sleep if you like firm beds.

Great Place!

Our stay was fabulous! The place was just like it appeared in the pictures. Ally and Brendon were perfect hosts. They gave us so much privacy and left the entire backyard to ourselves. Would certainly recommend this place. Also, so close to everything. We did a lot of walking which was great.

Great 2 bedroom casita

Ally is a wonderful host. She is right next door so responds quickly. Everything is provided - toiletries, laundry soap, Keurig, kitchen well equipped, regular size washer/dryer, stove, frig, large TV - she provides tennis channel. All rooms with overhead fans, bedrooms with individual A/C. Access to hot tub with no charge. Private off street parking. What's not to like!

Visiting from the cold

Very good overall. Lots of privacy. Cost to heat the pool is quite high at 60 per day. The heating of the spa is included though. Clean and equiped with everything you could need.

A home away from home

We loved our week, the property was clean and very tastefully decorated. Any imaginable amenity was available to us. The hosts were kind and attentive. The personal backyard oasis was stunning. We would definitely return and highly recommend anybody else to stay here.

We enjoyed the stay tremendously…. The place was extremely clean and organized …. Almost brand new appliances. Most of all the Airconditioning performed flawlessly….the pool was extremely clean…. Overall an unbelievably amazing time with the family….

My new husband and I stayed at the Casa Azul for a get-away after our wedding. So happens, Hurricane Hillary also arrived. We were well taken care of by our host and enjoyed the amenities while we hunkered down. Loss of power for a few hours did not wreck our time and our host made sure we were safe. Beautiful place! We plan to visit again!

Exactly how I want a vacation rental to be

This place was exactly what we wanted/needed for our weekend stay. Check in/out was easy. Place was well stocked and decorated. We would stay here again if we’re ever back in town. We never heard or saw anyone else on the property and it felt very quiet and secluded. Location was amazing as well.

A perfect location for a quiet stay!

The lovely Casa Azul is exactly as described, and worked perfectly for our small group of two couples. The kitchen is stocked with all dishes and utensils you might need for at-home dining, whether indoors or outside. We did not use the pool (we had a full schedule), but the patio is lovely, and while the home is in a residential neighborhood, it still feels private (and so very quiet, which was wonderful). The unit has been very thoughtfully decorated, and we would be happy to stay there again the next time we're in town!

La Casa Azul is a Hidden Gem!

My family and I booked La Casa Azul for a lacrosse tournament in Indio, CA (Sandstorm) and it worked out perfectly as it’s only a 15 minute drive to the fields and only a few minutes from restaurants and grocery shops. The 2 bedroom property is beautifully finished and the hosts are absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!
