The apartment was very clean and much larger than we were expecting, it can be a little loud at night but nothing crazy! Gabriel was a wonderful host with many recommendations!

Wonderful Apartment and Helpful Host

We were met at the Apartment by the host Gabriele who was most gracious and helpful. The apartment was well positioned with plenty of space for six adults to comfortably share and was like going back in time. Highly recommended.

Our family get away.

This was a great property that was as listed. Gabriele was very helpful and always answered texts promptly. The apartment is a short walk from the old town and its vibrant markets. We have given this a four star due to the fact that the base of one double bed was broken , leaving us with back ache , the base was not fixed during our stay, so we had to put the mattress on the floor in order to get any sort of sleep.

Very good stay

We booked the apartment of Gabrielle at the very last moment after the one we had initially booked was cancelled by the owner on a frivolous pretext. And we didn't regret our choice. Gabrielle was waiting to welcome us in the apartment, explaining everything and providing us with precious advice that made our stay in Palermo more interesting. The apartment itself is a beauty, high-ceilinged, spacious, perfectly equipped. As Gabrielle had predicted, it was very easy to find a parking place in the neighbouring streets. If you plan to stay in Palermo this apartment should be your first choice.

This flat was gorgeous

We visited Sicily and stayed at other locations, from Taormina to San Vito Lo Capo. The last stop in Sicily was Palermo before departing. The flat is gorgeous. Plenty of room as advertised, a clean and well-stocked kitchen, and an excellent location. The main bedroom had a fresco! High ceilings combined with air conditioning may have been over 100 Fahrenheit outside, yet the flat was an incredible fantastic paradise! As Americans, we appreciate the air conditioning; everyone will enjoy it! This place was a diamond. The last thing, the owner is lovely! He met our family in person and gave us a few suggestions on how to get around the city, a local coffee shop, etc. Worth it!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und mit allem versorgt, was wir brauchten. Die Wohnung liegt sehr gut, nahe bei der Altstadt und allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Einziger Nachteil: 1 Zimmer kann nur via Esszimmer belüftet werden. Es hat kein eigenes Fenster. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The Liberty Apartment in the heart of the historic center of Palermo was a great place to say for our group of 8. It was close to bus stops (fyi...about the buses, they are unreliable and often don't show at all). The apartment was clean and the building was quiet, it was a great place to stay.

Great apartment in a good location

We stayed here for 1 week in October, we are a family of 4 (all adults). The apartment is on the first floor, very spacious and immaculate in every respect. All towels and bedding were freshly laundered. All the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped for those that want to cook and for those that don't there were plenty of restaurants catering for all budgets. The location was excellent and close to all the sights, restaurants, shops and local transport links. Gabriel the property owner/manager met us on the first day having previously arranged the airport transfer for us, he showed us around the flat and recommended a few restaurants and places to visit. Throughout our stay Gabriel kept in touch and made himself available if we needed him, he was a really nice person to deal with and we felt he added extra value to our holiday. We loved our stay in Palermo and if we ever return we would definitely book this accommodation again and recommend it.

Top Lage Alles Perfekt

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war vorbildlich. Das Einchecken problemlos. Die gesamte Innenstadt ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Größe und die Ausstattung des Apartments war 5 * Plus. (Einzigstes Manko war eine recht laute Wasserpumpe im Treppenhaus). Wer mit dem Auto kommt sollte einen Kleinstwagen benutzen da die Parkplätze rar sind. Würden hier gerne erneut übernachten. Séjour parfait pour découvrir Palerme !

Gabriele a été un hôte très professionnel. De notre arrivée à la fin du séjour, tout était préparé pour que nous puissions passer une agréable semaine. L'appartement est parfaitement aménagé pour un séjour à 8 personnes, et décoré avec soin. La climatisation est appréciable par les fortes chaleurs de la ville. Sa situation géographique nous a permis de visiter Palerme, mais également les villes alentours grâce à la proximité des transports en commun (la gare centrale se trouvent en 15 petites minutes à pied). Il est près du centre ville, des restaurants, des monuments et en une 30aine de minute à pied du port. Gabriele s'est montré disponible tout le long de notre séjour. Encore merci pour ces belles vacances, et la découverte de cette ville. Je recommande cet hôte et cet appartement les yeux fermés !

A wonderfully authentic Palermo experience

We booked this charming apartment for a week and we were thrilled with the space. It accommodated us very well, everyone had their favourite perch, and the location was ideal to walk to many of the tourist attractions, restaurants, and markets. As you may want to avoid driving around Palermo, this apartment let’s you enjoy the best the city gas to offer within a 3km radius. Gabriele is a superhost, very responsive and organized. The beds were comfortable and everything you need is provided. As it is a traditional apartment, if you are sensitive to sounds from the city, you can sleep soundly in the third bedroom located in the centre of the suite. We booked this place for its charming frescos and large ample space. It certainly delivered. Thanks for everything Gabriele. We will miss your lovely apartment.

BEST APARTMENT FOR VISITING PALERMO

Prima vakantiewoning, vlakbij het oude deel van Palermo

De woning lag in een volksbuurt. Toen we de woning betraden waren we verbaasd over het feit dat hij zo ruim was en met prachtige plafonds en vloeren. De keuken was goed ingericht even als de badkamer. Aan alles was gedacht.

Tolle Wohnung in Palermo

Die schöne Wohnung liegt vis-a-vis zur Innenstadt, ist groß, sauber, preiswert, recht ruhig gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet, was für ein paar Tage benötigt wird. Es ist kein Problem, von hier aus zu Fuß die ganze Innenstadt zu erkunden. Die nächste Haltestelle des Free-Bus (Achtung: auf Wertsachen achten!) ist nur drei Minuten entfernt, der Normannenpalast 8 Minuten. Gabriele ist wirklich ein super-Vermieter, Check-in war völlig problemlos, bei einem Problem mit einer Garage für unser Auto - Parkplätze sind ein rares Gut! - hat er uns schnell und effektiv geholfen. Vielen Dank nochmal an Gabriele für die schöne Zeit in Palermo, wir können ihn und seine tolle Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Très bel appartement très bien situé.

Gabriele le propriétaire nous a très bien reçu dans ce grand appartement situé près du centre historique de Palerme. Il est facile de garer sa voiture dans la rue ce qui est bien pratique. Le départ s'est passé sans problème. Nous conseillons cet appartement.Merci Gabriele

Liberty apartment in the heart of Palermo

We got a little lost whilst trying to find the apartment, but Gabriele came to our rescue to meet us, The apartment was fully equipped including excellent air conditioning-much needed to combat the Palermo heat! The historic centre was within 10-15minuts walk and Central train station within 20 minutes walk. The apartment is spacious, with some authentic features such as ceiling fresco's and original floor tiles. It is excellent value, we would certainly stay again. Thanks Gabriele

Great location

Really convenient location to see all the sights of Palermo. Short walk to the palace and cathedral and the old centre of the city. Longer walk to the catacombs but still only 20 - 25 minutes away. Gabriele was a great host who met us very warmly and answered any questions we had quickly. Will also arrange a taxi to and from airport if required. Apartment is large and very well equipped. Main bedroom is beautiful with the amazing ceiling. Thank you Gabriele for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.

The apartment is extremely well placed for visiting the historical parts of Palermo and not far from the railway station. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and well provided with amenities, some rooms being better placed away from the noise of the city than others. The external front door key was a bit of a problem, but patience and persistence enabled us to get in and out OK! Thanks to the owners for enabling us to have a very pleasant stay in the city.

La struttura è veramente curata,il Proprietário ha cura dei minimi dettagli e l’ho trovata veramente confortevole.Non mancava nulla ho perfino trovato set doccia completo cioè bagno schiuma sciampo ecc.Arrivare in centro da lì e veramente comodo 10 minuti a piedi senza prendere l’auto,In più la disponibilità del Proprietário. Merita 5 + bellissimo soggiorno

Deliziosa

Palermo è una città bellissima. L’appartamento è in un ottima posizione, silenziosa e centrale. Comodo per chi arriva dall’aeroporto perché con il treno e una modica spesa si arriva in stazione centrale che è a 10 minuti a piedi, e con possibilità di parcheggio gratuito in zona, anche se sconsiglio l’uso dell’auto a Palermo. Vicino potete, con i mezzi pubblici arrivare sia a Mondello sia a Monreale e nonostante quello che si dice del trasporto pubblico noi abbiamo avuto un’ esperienza positiva....forse la fortuna dei principianti 😃 Vicino tutti a supermercati, farmacie e al caratteristico mercato Ballaró Gabriele è un padrone di casa disponibile, gentile e saprà consigliarvi posti in cui gustare un’ ottima cucina in caratteristici ristoranti non turistici. La casa è dotata di tutti gli elettrodomestici, compresa lavatrice Consigliatissima 😃
