Superb location, host, and experience! Can’t recommend this place more — quiet location, easily accessible to all the hot spots by foot, fantastic pizza around the corner, and a 5 minute walk to one of the few 24 hour supermarkets in Palermo. The host is top notch and first rate.
St. Catherine’s cathedral is a 15 minute walk away.

Had an amazing 2 nights at this Very Beautiful and extremely clean apartment in a very central part of Palermo, close to all the attractions.The host Francesco was incredibly informative and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone.My only complaint was that it was too short for us! Should of stayed longer.

Perfect Stay in Palermo

This property was exactly as described on the VRBO site. Its location worked for us as it seemed to be in the middle - meaning that a short walk in any direction would take us to interesting sites. Also, a 7 minute walk from the Lolli train stop was very convenient for taking the train to and from the airport. Francesco, the property owner, met us on arrival. A very warm and welcoming man who gave us many tips on how to enjoy our ten day stay in Palermo. Many good restaurants, stores and a supermarket within a few blocks of the property. We enjoyed a few lunches at the small, friendly cafe that was directly below our apartment. Highly recommended.

The host Francesco was superb. Very accomodating and a good communicator. The apartment was perfecto. It was a great size and l location. Decent sized lounge and dining, big bedroom with lovely windows and light. The kitchen and bathroom were also a good size and very clean. A great location. The parking was not easy as it’s a busy area but it’s ok once you know what to do. You can buy tickets at the post office/ticket office - not all machines work! Overall a fab place to stay.

Als je de echte cultuur van Palermo wilt ervaren, dan is Francesco's huis the place to be. Francesco heeft op ons gewacht en verwelkomde ons heel vriendelijk. Vanaf het begin legde hij alles duidelijk uit over het huis en de omgeving, wat ons verblijf direct heel comfortabel maakte. Francesco reageert heel snel op alle berichten! Perfect in Palermo

We had only a short, 2 night stay in Palermo, but Francisco’s property suited us perfectly. It’s a great central location, and though on 2 busy streets—noisy during the day—it quiets down at night. The apartment is lovely & spacious, with painted ceilings & tile floors. Also, another rarity in Sicily: an elevator! Our host, Francisco, met us at the apartment to orient us, and was friendly and available. Highly recommended!

Fabulous space!

We had a wonderful stay in Francesco's Palermo apartment. It was spacious, comfortable and centrally located to restaurants and the theatre. Francesco was very helpful and responsive. He personally greated us and provided us with suggestions and information to enhance our stay. I would recommend this property!

Just Perfect!

This property is a beautiful refuge. It had everything we needed for a few days in Palermo -- from a well-stocked kitchen to a washing machine. The apartment is gorgeous with plenty of space. The neighborhood is really interesting. Be sure to walk around because there are treasures on every block. We found live music in the streets with dancing, amazing restaurants, and lovely bakeries and butcher shops.

Historic residence

This is a large first floor 19c one bedroom flat with lovely features such as original windows, painted ceilings, tiled floors etc. The rooms are large and the property is very clean. The flat is about 10 minutes walk from Palermo centre so very convenient. It is also close to the airport bus stop and train station. Our host met us at the property and was very patient with us as were late due to a mix up of addresses. Not the fault of our host. The only downside is the night-time noise of traffic and, on a Friday night, the "boy racers" with their noisy sound systems. So if you are a light sleeper you may have problems, but in reality it didn't bother us too much.

Perfect Palermo Setting

Our gracious host Francesco was ever so helpful from start to finish, the property is fantastic, with the added value of historic elegance to modern finishes such as a central elevator, the one bedroom apartment with its vaulted original decorative ceilings to its four balconies with huge access balcony doors/ bifolding louvred vent doors , AC blows cold , sit and enjoy your morning coffee while watching them unload the morning delivery of plants & flowers across the street through your kitchen balcony opening .Located on a quieter side street you can still hear a bit of life passing by to enjoy the locals. A perfect location in regards to a short walk to an 24hr grocery, daily fresh fish/seafood, tons of restaurants, 10 / 15 minutes walk to almost everything, seaside boat docking & dockside restaurant, three separate local open markets,unlimited historical architectural spots , take a tour through the local theatre where they happened to shoot some of the Godfather scenes , we spent about eight nights at this property on our way to Malta & wish we could have stayed longer , also Francesco provides tons of activities and historical information on site , don’t hesitate to rent this property, we certainly won’t the next time we are passing through, thanks Francesco

Highly recommend

We loved this apartment. Fantastic location- a couple of blocks away from local buses and a 24 hour supermarket. Within walking distance of the historic part - 20 to 30 minutes. Apartment was spotless and contained everything we needed. The shutters on the windows were a great buffer against a little bit of street noise and daylight if you want to sleep in. Francesco was a great host - returned messages promptly, left lots of travel info and a few goodies in the fridge. Would highly recommend.

This was a very comfortable place. It has an elevator, which is a great help with suitcases. The host provided maps and brochures. Was there to meet our late arrival and was extremely helpful and pleasant. Location: Grocery store 4 min. walk. Near 7 min. to pedestrian area- Zara, H&M etc. 14 min. walk to the Archeological Museum. An excellent restaurant just across the street, Sapurito. Highly recommended accommodation.
