"I don't usually write negative reviews but I had to with this hostel. First off, the staff were great, no complaints there. I never stayed in the dorm area as they were all booked so no comment there. I had a loft style room. The stairs up to it were very steep. I can see someone falling on the way down if they've had a few too many. One of the steps was very rotted out and felt like it may give way any day. I get we are in a somewhat remote area of Palawan but the power and wifi kept...

"We arrived in the night, luckily a transfer was waiting for us as absolutely no way could anyone with luggage climb up the steep steep incline to the hostel. We just wanted to wash and sleep, but no water! The water in the hostel must get turned off after a certain time. No shower, luckily we had a bottle of water otherwise we wouldn't have been able to brush our teeth. A loud box AC system mounted onto the wall. Windows didn't open with lots of condensation. We woke to the bum-gun spraying...

"The room with a private toilet is located right next to the bar/reception, so you need to have the curtains closed at all times if you don't want staff and guests looking straight in, only a few meters away. They also play music from the bar/reception until around 11 pm and start again around 7-9am, and it can be heard clearly in the room. The room's AC is very loud. "The worst DIVE ever. Upon walking in to the area, it was completely nasty. Was offered a room without air conditioning. Are you serious in the Philippines!. Walked right out and did not get a refund eventhough we did not stay there and the terms of agreement were not honored! Be extra careful with these rip-offs!"
