She was an A-plus host—quick to respond and proactive about making sure the quirky details felt like pleasant surprises instead of gotchas. We had total privacy the whole time, and while we never quite made it into the hot tub, it looked perfectly inviting for next time. If you’re after a place with character, comfort, and a host who truly cares, book this one—you’ll love it. We’d come back in a heartbeat!"

"This is a great property if you want peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the back porch and took walks in the national forest behind the house. It was close enough to Nederland to go for lunch and dinner and within a short drive to a number of great hiking spots. The previously mentioned hot water issue was taken care of and we had immediate and constant hot water as needed. "

"Very comfortable and tastefully decorated cabin. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed to cook our meals. We enjoyed the evenings sitting with our feet propped up on the reclining couch in front of the wood burning stove. The beds and pillows we’re comfortable and the bedding smelled lovely. The only downside is that the bunkhouse isn’t connected so if you have to get up in the night to use the restroom you have to go outside to get to the cabin. The cabin is located a...

"Me and my family loved our stay at this property. Check in was smooth and easy. The house was very clean and had activities for our family to play. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. There were stores close by went plenty of eating options as well. "
