"This ended up being the perfect choice for us. Nice cozy place to come back to after a day of exploring. Beautiful sunsets over the lake, you can have a fire if you like or spend some time in the wood barrel sauna! Getting ready in the morning was awesome we would see a family of bald eagles flying around from a near by nest."

"We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired.
