Looking forward to our trip, and after driving all day, we were pretty exhausted when we got there so didn’t notice a lot of things right away. In a couple of sentences, I can say we thought it was misrepresented in VRBO. The next morning, upon waking up, we started to realize how filthy the place was. There was mold in the dishwasher, hair in the drawers in the refrigerator, there were several lights out around the apartment, couple of drawers wouldn’t close as they were broken, the grill was unusable. It was so filthy. The porch was so full of leaves, spider webs, spiders and dirt that it was pretty much unusable. The washing machine was filthy with buildup from detergent and fabric softener. The master bath had mold in it and obviously hadn’t been deep cleaned for a long time. I could go on and on, but basically we felt trapped as it was a holiday week and we had already paid for the stay. Contacting the owners they were very responsive, but lived in Texas so there wasn’t much they could do but get their cleaning person to come in and remedy the situation. When the cleaning person came the following day, she had a bucket in her hand and walked into the kitchen where I told her I had other things that needed attention as well. With attitude, she was immediately short with me, told me she didn’t have to listen to me and stormed out.This is why this was very disappointing and we request a partial refund. Their pictures do not represent the true nature of this condo. Ours do.
